I finally found a place to get my braids done in the Stafford area. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning when another local place canceled my appointment at the last minute. I arrived at my appointment and they were washing and braiding my hair on time. I was done in record speed. I like this place so far, and the people working there are friendly. I even sent my niece there to get 2 big cornrows and they made it happen quick and for a decent price. 4 Stars! read more

Very unprofessional.I had a booked appointment, I did not get my hair started until over an hour after my initial time. I booked an appointment with a specific stylist at this salon, and she didn't even do all of my hair, she switched with another lady half way through and started to do someone else's hair. As I was getting my hair braided the lady who was working on my head stopped multiple times taking long breaks and started to eat food that I personally am allergic to by my head. read more

The Stylist and owner, Renee was 30 minutes late. She started on my hair and then handed me over to someone else. I explained to that Stylist that I want my braids for my crochet braid style to be braided small and tight. Because another customer had walked in and I guess she did not have enough Stylist. She then told that person to hurry up finish my hair to start another client so I was left with very big corn rolls. I explained to them that I was concerned that the style was not gonna last as long Because the braids were not small like I requested and Renee responded. You'll be fine. Less than a week later, of course my hair is separating at the edges because the braids were not secured and we're not tight as I have asked for and the style is completely ruined. I'm going back-and-forth with the owner, Renee about fixing this problem and she tells me flat out that I'm gonna have to pay for some want to fix it. So then I said, can we just take it out because the style because the braids were not done properly is ripping my edges out and I sent her a video as proof. She said if someone takes out the crochets, I'm gonna have to pay them. So I explained why should I have to pay for someone to fix this mess and again she went back-and-forth with me. I finally told her I'm not gonna go back-and-forth with you. I'm simply not going to return to your salon. I'll go elsewhere. Horrible style, horrible horrible service! read more

After doing a little research online yesterday I found this shop. I reached out to the owner on Yelp, she is very fast with her responses. I was able to schedule and appointment for this morning. My appointment was for 8am I arrived and was immediately greeted by Caroline asked what style I was getting and assured me the someone was on the way. Less than 15 minutes another lady came in (sorry I didnt get your name) and welcomed me back to the chair. Caroline switched with the other braider and quickly began my hair. I felt very welcomed in the salon. I love my braids and the amount of time in comparison to what I am used to was superb. One of the best braiding salons I've been too. I made a same day appointment. Great for women in uniform.. I've been to sLons and told them I'm military and walked out hating how big my braids were or taking them out. They are familiar with regs. I stopped by to ask questions about a style I wanted to try. Renee was very friendly and answered all the questions I had... walked out with an appointment for the following day. Renee and her staff are so friendly and fast! My hair was done beautifully in 2 hrs! Do NOT come here unless you want braids!!!! They pretend to know things about natural hair but have no f*ING clue!!!! I went to get my locs washed and rewisted and let's say I'm never coming back there! The one stylist under Renee, complained that my locs were too much to do but my hair is short and it only took her ONE hour to complete! She also used SHEA BUTTER NOT LOC GEL to twist my locs!! My hair was beyond GREASY!!!! My hair puffed right back up after I got up from under the dryer and then had the nerve to charge me $90, NO STYLE NO NOTHING!!! Like what?! A WASTE OF MONEY!! I was better off doing it myself!!! They are most definitely ripping people off!! Please be careful!!!!! read more

Prior to my appointment, I came into the salon and met with my braider. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and they quoted me the price. I said ok, scheduled my appointment, and came back a few weeks later to get it done. It took about 5 hours for me to get somewhat small braids with extensions, and had them cut and burned. At the end of the session, they told me the price was $10 more than what I was quoted originally. I was not pleased by this, but I paid the new price. The braider did them way too tight. She was very nice, but I had to constantly tell her they were too tight. She would attempt to loosen up, but they were still too tight. When they were done, my braids looked stunning. Unfortunately, my head actually hurt for 2 whole days following the appointment. My husband kept asking me what was wrong and even after taking excedrin, I had a constant headache from the braids being too tight. Fast forward to 7 weeks later and I felt it was time to take them out. When I did, I carefully detangled each strand. Chunks of my hair came out with them. I will never go back to this salon again. Also, just for reference there is no working TV in this salon and I didn't realize that when I came for the initial consult. Sitting for 5 hours, I just used my phone. This salon could use some sprucing up, but more importantly, the braiders need to do more to protect the natural hair. Highly disappointed when its all said and done. read more
