I have had my hair extensions done by GiGi twice. I am about to go for my third installation. I have been getting extensions for greater than ten years. It's definitely not something you do if you are looking for "healthy" hair. You will experience breakage. If you don't take care of them, you can experience dreading when they drop. I get keratin bond extensions. It is rough on your natural hair. Especially if it's fine texture like mine. Gigi is so gentle with the removal. My natural hair actually doesn't look that bad when they're removed. She has done an amazing job with the installations and removals she's done. I am so happy I have found her. She will definitely get me as a repeat customer. read more

More of a hobby than a business. I called four times on three different days and nobody answered the phone even though she was supposed to be open. Forced to use online booking, I created an account and password, made an appointment for the time suggested, signed up for text reminders... and then on the day of the appointment she notified me that she wouldn't be there. These pictures should say it all. My Google review tells the details of this nightmare appointment with gigi! I will say she did my install in 1 hour 20 min and charged 400 bucks! A proper professional stylist takes 3-4 hours for ilink. Salon was closed when I arrived and she had me wait for her to shop and then hang with her daughter once she arrived while I waited outside in the car. Never again will I go to a place like this. Then refused to refund my money. She is the typical do the least amount of work then charge outrageously! That pic in my car seat is 600$ worth of hair she threw everywhere and I picked all of them up, she left them all over the floor then walked to the register. This is pretty little salon right in Quantico. Owner's very nice and professional, and I adored her assistant. Got a cut and partial highlight, and loved it. Took the brassy-ness out of my hair and did a great job thinning and layering my hair for me. Took only 2 hrs start to finish, which I'm very happy with. Only $110. Gigi is an expert on hair, she is always trying to learn what is new in the hair world and always improving. No outdated hair styles. What I like is that she listens to what you want and suggests what would look best on you. She has hair magic! She is also super kind, and going to her place is also therapy because she listens to you. Whenever you step into her salon you always get a welcome cozy feeling that makes you want to come back. I found GiGi's Salon from a group page on FB. She's close to my house and I wanted to try out a new salon. I had read quite a few reviews left online and I will attempt to address some of the concerns/issues I noted in others' reviews. First I'll say that parking was a bit tight. There is street and metered parking available, as well as a very small parking lot next to the salon. I arrived for my appointment time and Gigi greeted me. I sat down and she listened to what I wanted and offered her professional opinion and suggestion. She discussed price and asked if I was OK with that. I was. She got started. I was in the salon for 3 hours. Gigi and Ida managed the time between clients flawlessly. At no point did I feel rushed or neglected. I was made comfortable and offered a beverage. My color and cut is everything I hoped for. It's beautiful and I am very pleased. While there is not a price list posted on the wall, price brochures were available on the counter. As a salon customer, I expect to pay for quality service and yes, I'm sure I can save a few bucks by going elsewhere but the end results will not be comparable. If you're looking for a new stylist, give Gigi a try, I'm glad I did. read more
