By 10:45am after sitting and witnessing the clear incompetence by the front desk lady whoseemed overwhelmed by simple tasks like making a photo copy I decided to leave and not waste any more of my time time. Considering it is an urgent clinic and not even being checked in for 45 mins on a non busy morning i felt like I needed to share this experience. Thankfully my condition wasn't too serious. Surely the doctor is wonderful from what I read but he needs a front desk coverage that mirrors his professionalism and skills.

I had to go back a few days later and receive paper copy, which I then had to scan to provide to my primary care Dr. All in all, if I get illin' like that again, I'd go back here for care.

It did go through insurance and sure enough it should have been $50. I do hope that I get back the $156 they overcharged us. But what a pain it is for me to chase after the overpayment. As of now, I have not been refunded the overcharge. I do hope I will get the overcharge back. I told him to go to his doctor from now on or an urgent care that honors insurance. I would rather use the ER than deal with this place again. Should have walked out and gone to patient first. Live and learn.

From the staff, counselors to the doctors, they all treat everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. I have recommend this group to friends needing help or friends having family members suffering with addictions. Not one person has said anything negative. As a matter of fact, each person has called and personally thank me for pointing them in the right direction. I know of many churches that suggest Riverside Counseling for members that may be having marital issues and their success rate is very high. The drs don't hand a pill to make it all go away as a primary physician may do. They truly want to understand what is going on with you and help however they can. But each person has to be willing to be open and honest not only with the drs., but with themselves. For me personally, it's been a "two-way" team and I have never regretted my choice for this center. It may take a few visits to find the right person that fits your needs, so don't let the negative feedback stop you if you really need help. And don't be afraid or ashamed to reach out for help. That was a huge mistake I made for too many years. Do what you feel is best for you and you won't regret it. Riverside Counseling has changed my life and I can't thank Dr. Hall enough.

Felt like I was excessively charged, when I was clear what I was going in for…read more I went in for a physical that's supposed to be covered by insurance. I tell them I just want what's covered. After the tests, they said I needed to go in person to talk about my results, even though I asked if that's even necessary and I'd prefer to be sent my results. When I go in for my results, I sit in the patient room for like 45 minutes. When I walked in, there was maybe one other person, not sure who else in the back. So it didn't seem busy. He finally comes to talk to me for like 10 minutes and the things mentioned are things I could've seen off the results of the tests. They charged my insurance for a "long" visit. $160. Apparently, it's based on when I walk in, even if they take forever to see me. I called about the $200 in claims and say I didn't want to go in the office, if I didn't have to, and I asked for what's covered. They didn't budge on the charges. I called my insurance and they called the office directly. Luckily, the insurance representative got some of it waived. Summary... I go in for an insurance covered physical. They end up charging me over $200 in claims.

I was told I could begin treatment as soon as I arrived. Instead, one week post-op--with multiple incisions and a surgical drain--I spent nearly two hours filling out paperwork and answering questions only to be told they could not treat me. I was told the chamber had not yet been cleared/certified for use and that there were issues related to technician certification. I left without treatment despite having traveled there specifically because I had been told I could be seen. A couple of hours after I got home, I received a call saying they could take me after all. By that point, I had lost confidence in the facility. The entire experience felt disorganized, communication was poor, and the recommendations I later received conflicted with my surgeon's instructions. When you're dealing with time-sensitive treatment after major cancer surgery, patients deserve clear, accurate, and consistent information. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

From the beginning of my visit, the receptionist and the nurse treated me professionally and respectfully, and I appreciate their assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with the treating physician was completely unacceptable. When the doctor entered the examination room, she asked what had brought me in. As I began explaining all of my symptoms so she could properly evaluate my condition, she interrupted me before I could finish. She stated in a rude and dismissive tone, "What can I do that you can't eat? I'm here for the pain. Tell me about the pain." I tried to explain that I wanted to provide the full history of my symptoms so she could understand what was happening from the beginning. Instead of allowing me to speak, she continued to display an unprofessional attitude and made additional comments that I found disrespectful and upsetting. Her behavior made me feel dismissed rather than cared for as a patient. The interaction became so unpleasant that I left the examination room without providing any medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or plan of care. I left the facility feeling that my medical concerns had not been addressed at all. I waited approximately 30 minutes for this appointment, yet I received no meaningful medical care. Because no treatment or evaluation was provided, I do not believe I should be charged for this visit. I am requesting the following: That this visit be reviewed by your management. That any charges related to this visit be removed. That I receive a written response regarding the outcome of your investigation. That appropriate action be taken to ensure patients are treated respectfully and professionally in the future. I remain concerned because I am still not feeling well. If my condition worsens and it is determined that my concerns were not appropriately evaluated during this visit, I reserve all rights available to me regarding this matter. Heidari, Rezvan, FNP was thorough in her exam and ordered up an in clinic treatment , then ordered meds to treat me. Great service. Only advice was my aftercare note had some more OTCs to take and I wish I had been told those before leaving so I could have picked up at Harris Teeter. Strong recommend though with this FNP.
