Brake Kingdom scared me away again! Took my Ford in for a tuneup oil change and AC service and was very pleased with their professionalism and customer service. While doing the tuneup they discovered that I had a gasket leak that was leaking onto the spark plugs. No telling what this would've cost me if it hadn't been found during the routine services. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, but upon being shown the worn out gasket my mind was quickly put at ease. They even saved me money by not installing parts that weren't needed! Just wow. My front brakes started grinding this weekend. I called in a panic. The owner answered on Sunday and had me bring it in first thing Monday morning. He gave me a quote. I took my car here for an unexplained "shake" when braking. Israel took the time to explain what he thought this issue was and actually test-drove the vehicle. Not just brakes! This is one of the best auto repair shops I have been in in all the cities I have lived. My car wouldn't start, yelped auto repair in my area and they had 5 star reviews, I'm not easily impressed but it looked legit. I called early with quick response, towed my car in at 830am, Got a call within 30 minutes stating it was my starter, hit a call 45 minutes later telling me it was ready. I went there with my honey, Charlie, to get his suburban looked at as he had seen a break leak/hole in breakline. We took it to Firestone and he told them exactly what he'd seen. Mind you, Charlie has done work on his vehicles before and had friends that do the same so he knew what he was talking about. Firestone comes back saying he needs new master cylinders and a slew of other items that amount to about $1200 AND that there was no break leak. He took his suburban back and two days later we stopped by Brake Kingdom as it was close to our house and he figured he'd like to deal with someone that may specialize in breaks. For me, I liked Israel right away and knew we were at the right place. For Charlie, he liked the fact that he listened to him and what he said made sense. He explained what would be needed and how long and how much. Needless to say, there was a leak & we got vehicle back following morning since we'd brought it in so late in the day.
