I took my car to a well-known neighborhood mechanic in Miami Shores and was told I needed discs and pads for all four wheels to the tune of $778. After a short conversation with Israel he explained that for my first brake job all of these parts should not have worn evenly. Long story short, all I needed were pads for the back wheels. After viewing the reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a try. I initially came in because my '15 Impala did not crank and my left tail light was out. Israel was extremely polite and the service was fairly quick (the mechanic was finish with my car within 2 hours). However, based on the information given I was quoted one price for a battery and charged another (costing more money). Israel explained to me that my car was manufactured in 2015 but has a 2016 battery so it required a different battery. I was extremely skeptical because no one has ever mentioned this to me. My battery has been changed before and I have always purchased a 2015 battery not a 2016. Overall, they are quick and efficient but their price quotes aren't accurate. read more

I was shopping around since my Honda dealer said I had to replace the front and rear brakes for $750. I went to Midas and they quoted $1250 total and were charging $460 for 2 hours of labor! I got them down to $900 and then called Brake Kingdom, while in the Midas coffee area, as they had a lot of great reviews. They gave a quote a few hundred dollars less so I drove the extra 20 minutes to check them out. Israel and Carlos are amazing! I have been going to break kingdom for the last three years and have had several items fixed by them. They are very honest and the pricing is very reasonable. What I most like about them is once they diagnose the problem they fix the problem. Other places diagnose the wrong problem charge you and end up charging you for multiple unnecessary items. Break Kingdom is not a trial and error shop. I have had a tow truck take it to their place of business when they are not open and they are still available whether by key dropbox or they may show up to make sure your vehicle is taken care of. I have had my air-conditioning compressor replaced, starter replaced, alternator replaced, Engine mounts replaced, transmission mounts replaced,Power steering fixed, brakes replaced and have had a tune up and multiple oil changes. I drive a 2015 Chrysler with about 50,000 miles on it, my car isn't under warranty anymore but once the engine light came on I took it to the Chrysler dealership, first off they charged me a fee of $150 for a diagnostic fee, then a representative told me the issue was the engine oil pressure sensor curcuit, being a woman I had no idea what that was, he gave me a price of $480 for repairs, I ran as fast as I could lol... I jumped on yelp to look for a mechanic saw all the good reviews for break kingdom and took my car there, the manager gave me a price of $60 for diagnostic fee and $200 for repairs, I was in and out within an hour, he showed me the old part once he replaced it with a new one, very professional, I highly recommend. read more

I was desperate to find a qualified, honest and reliable auto repair for my mom in Florida. Brake Kingdom's reviews really stood out from all the rest. I called hoping to speak to Israel. Israel and the other staff were all excellent!! If you want integrity and honesty at a fair price, this is the place. I took my vehicle in for an issue with my brakes and battery that kept losing power (which also lost power again in the parking lot when I arrived). They were able to fit me in right away and tell me what the issues were quickly. They were honest with me when I asked to have all the brake pads replaced. They informed me that I had at least a few more months to drive on the front brake pads if I didn't want to replace them right then. I went to Lehman Mitsubishi and they told me I needed new brakes and 4 new tire sensors total of $1300. My friend told me to come to brake kingdom to see Israel and Carlos,they told me the truth of what I really needed. Some break fluid which they gave me some of theirs at no charge an he said I only need to get two sensors replaced not 4.he directed me to advance auto parts to buy the sensors only ($60 each) and only charged $60 for the diagnosis.he didn't charge me for anything else I kind of felt they undercharged, all that for $60?
