I had my brake done and not ready for pad but down enough to get them done. I never let them get that down any more wait until I hear the warning because most of the time my windows are up in Arizona and make a note. Anytime you can stop by over at any Brake Master and they will look and tell you good or bad. I can't speak for other stores but the has the highest rating which means I can relax and feel good about my money. Another nice thing if you really want a rating use YELP I wise I did before on other things. Remember companies can fix there own web site as they like. Yelp is what you get good or bad they just go by inputs only. Back to Brake Masters the estimate was around 400 and dealer we will not talk about hahaha. Had the life time brakes and oil changer plus filter, changed out the brake fluid and power steering and all under 319 boy was I happy. Got my car get and uh oh sounds so they got it and washer fell down and no time back on the road. While waiting no place to go me and another young man got to talking and he told me how good they worked with him also. As we were talking they gave me another young man some lunch and water when I was about to order everyone pizza. They made sure everyone got water and coffee. I was so happy with the billing that with out the other young man knowing I paid 25 on the other young mans bill. Not a lot but I sure were remember those days when you could only fix a few things at a time. And he told me how much they worked with him. At the end I having to deal with another company which may go to court over the last 30 days and still not over a new that cost a lot and does not work. I go to Brake Masters for all my car needs besides tires and only because Brake Masters does not do tires. My Service Engine Soon light came on as well as a few other warning lights. I come in and was greeted by Stan, the Assistant Manager. He listened to what I described was happening with the warning lights on my car. He went out and started up my car to see for himself and agreed to have it looked at. I got an oil change, tire alignment and rotation, and a Quick strut assembly thing done on my car. I am not made of money and explained that to Stan. He worked his magic fingers on his computer and gave me a very reasonable quote that I could work with. The only thing I could not get done on my car today was the replacement of a couple of sensors which I will most definitely go back to Brake Masters Store # 147 for as soon as I can afford to do so. I also got to joke around with Ken, the Store Manager. I had worked with Ken before when he was an assistant manager. Ken and Stan kept the mood light in the store because they know what it is like to have to sit in the lobby for hours on end to get repairs done on your car. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Brake Masters. In less than one month, I paid nearly $1,700 to fix what was supposed to be a simple water leak, and my vehicle is now in worse condition than before. Not only did the problem never get resolved, but my car overheated multiple times and left me stranded twice. After picking up my vehicle, I discovered my AC was no longer working, there was tin foil wrapped around a hose, and they had drained my antifreeze and replaced it with plain water because I declined an additional $1,200 repair for a water pump. This is completely unacceptable. I trusted them to properly diagnose and repair my vehicle, and instead I experienced poor workmanship, unnecessary expenses, and unsafe conditions. I feel taken advantage of and robbed financially. Jeremy treated the entire situation like a joke. Instead of showing professionalism or concern, he laughed things off and acted like my frustration was funny while I was dealing with an overheating vehicle and repeated breakdowns. I would strongly recommend that people avoid this location. My experience was stressful, expensive, and unacceptable from start to finish. read more

A lot of times we just want an oil change and for a good price. I would have to say this place is AWESOME. I wanted an oil change for a good price and checked the area for coupons. Found one for around $20 and I was all in. There was a short wait so I wen over to Spouts across the parking lot to kill time and grab a drink. A few minutes after I left I got call from them and they told me I needed to use only synthetic oil in my 2014 Mazda 3. The dealership where I bought my used car gave me 3 free oil changes so I had no idea I would be required to use only synthetic. The cost jumped up to 79.00. :-( They were sympathetic to my situation and let me know there was another coupon available for full synthetic and a tire rotation. They didnt have to but they did. Super nice - in the end I paid 64.00 for full synthetic ( which is good for 7000 miles) had my tires rotated and the whole time they were just super nice. In the end I am going 7000 miles and paying less than half of what I would have for two 3000 mile changes at jiffy lube. THESE GUYS ROCK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!! read more

I really can't say enough good things about this business...and about Ken the mechanic! Since May of this year, my family has taken two cars here four separate times for four different reasons. The quality of service is above and beyond any mechanic shop I have ever been to. Not only are they all friendly, they also walk you through what problems need to be addressed and not once have we been over charged. Ken is so honest and caring. He's not looking to up the price nor try to convince you that your vehicle needs something done that it really doesn't. Went to another shop first (actually the brake masters on bell and cavecreek) brakes were getting rough I thought I could get the pads turned but I ended up needing new rotors and pads even a rear drum the first shop quoted me 845 for all the work including some other fees that didnt quite make sence when I came to the location on 51st and Peoria they looked things over and quoted me 600 for everything the manager at this location is especially friendly and outgoing and they appreciate your business here and keep things straight forward iv used them before for my past vehicles and always had a great experience I thought it was finally time to give them credit for the hard work and respect they show to each customer would definitely come back and recommend to anyone read more

I called on Sat to get the time it would take to get my ford explorer's oil changed, brakes repaired, and shocks done. They said 4 hours, so I made an appointment using there website. It was easy to use. I got there a few minutes late, they took my car keys inspected it and told me it would be about $1100 and 4 hours. I gave them the keys and told them I needed an inspection as well. A little less than 4 hours later they called and told me my car was ready. I got there and they handed me my car keys and inspection sheet and I was on my way. They were super nice and very professional the entire time. The only problem I had was my fault. The inspection I needed was 19 point and I didn't know that or ask for that. 5 Stars all the way around. read more

This is the only place in the valley that I trust bringing my car to. I know that when i come in the service I am reviving is good quality and that I'm paying the cheapest I can pay. I decided to give Brake Masters a try after reading all the positive reviews on here. Glad I did! Fantastic customer service, they didn't try to pad the bill or sell me something I didn't need (I had an estimate from another well known shop that was outrageous stating I needed all sorts of repairs) not a one of those items was needed just the brakes! They got me right in and called me with the estimate a half hour earlier than I was expecting and had it finished in record time! Drives great now! I love this place!!! Normally dread taking vehicle to a mechanic but this place changed all that. Will not go anywhere else. Have taken car there twice recently and was getting nervous on account of several of the mechanics were around my car, thought for sure something serious but turned out just clamps needed tightened and they were doing pressure check to make sure all was good. On my way home from work, I started to get overheating problems with the engine. Discovered that my Chevy Equinox was leaking coolant while I was parked. BreakMasters 147 location treated me very well the last time I got work done. I am glad I went back, they heard my situation out. They looked it over, gave me a good estimate. I worked with a person named Daymon who said he could fix my lower control arms on my car in a reasonable amount of time with a very reasonable price. I had already been looking around for places and all the areas wanted extra money to get it done. He helped me out and said he could have it done by my deadline. Unfortunately they didn't finish in time but when he realized this he offered to drive me to and pick me up from my destination.
