Poor Service, called to inquire about oil changes and times. A woman picks up the phone and states they can't quote times or if they are currently servicing other vehicles. Why tf would I drive 15 minutes to a location that could possibly have 10 cars in line..... Sarcastic and rude Not my fault you are picking up phones on the weekend/Super Bowl Sunday. Poor customer service and waste of my time and rip off. I called the store prior to coming in and gave them year/make/model to see if they can do a tire rotation which I was told yes. When I came in, I told both gentlemen that approached me in the bay that I wanted full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. They got done with oil change and went to ring me out and I asked about my tire rotation. They said they couldn't do it. They got the manager and she told me my call goes to a support center and it depends upon the vehicle. Hence the reason I called prior duh! They did my tire rotation the old fashion way while I waited I inside the office. They never offered a discount. I drove off, they never reset my oil light, I did that myself. I am visiting from out of state and my truck indicated needing an oil change. I was guided into the middle bay with no issues. The place appeared clean and organized. Robert introduced himself as one of the managers, he seemed a little grumpy. I provided all the mine and the trucks information to Robert. The staff, who appeared happy began working on my truck. The staff was finishing up and I noticed oil on top of my radiator shroud. I thought for sure staff or at least the manager would see it after his Q/A check. Nope, they started to close the hood and I stopped them and asked them to wipe up the oil, which Robert did. I drove back to my residence and noticed oil on my chrome grill and bumper that had not been wiped up. It think it would be obvious to look for any additional oil mess to be cleaned up by staff and the last check by the manager. Do your own Q/A before you leave. read more

He services our car...BREAKS OUR HOOD LATCH to our vehicle !!!. My husband has to get this guy to admit that HE BROKE OUR HOOD as my husband sees the man do it, and says he needs to be responsible for this. He than leads us on to thinking their insurance is going to take care of it. Our vehicle is towed to CHRISTIAN BROTHERS (amazing people unlike-ROBERT). My husband confirms Robert, and Christian Brothers know that valvolines insurance is going to cover it. This is all in a phone call with ROBERT!, as he confirms "YeS I'Ll c0V3R iT"-bs!. We get a phone call from Christian Brothers, that ROBERT REFUSES TO COVER THE REPAIR. YESSSS REFUSES. Then proceeds to treat us like...shit!. Completely b*tches out. And hangs up on my husband. Great experience right?????. Now we were left with a $ 218.00 bill- IN ORDER TO GET OUR VEHICLE FROM CHRISTIAN BROTHERS. I stopped in right after work at 5pm and was seen within 10 minutes, and my oil change was complete within another ten. Ally and Cody (I think that was his name) took great care of me by ensuring everything was working (headlights, brights, turn signal, break lights, etc). Ally even added air to my tires that were low AND offered me a discount unprompted as this was my first time at a Valvoline. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional, and I felt very safe alone there as a young woman (iykyk). I got a coupon in the mail for a discounted oil change so I came here to use it. This place will actually do the oil change while you are in your car. You don't have to get out of your car. This was an amazing experience for me. The staff here was very friendly and extremely efficient. RUINED MY OIL PAN by cross threading the drain plug. Filed a claim with them that was denied stating that oil pans are wear and tear items. Won't let me see supposed video of oil change they mentioned while denying my claim. Use at your own risk. They don't stand behind their work. We were so impressed! My battery died while in the bay. They were offering a new battery for 175.00 but we thought we would save money and do it ourselves at Auto Zone. They didn't pressure us at all and even jumped my battery twice before we left! Get this... we went to auto zone to "save money" but we ended up paying 214.99!! No savings at all and we had to do the work ourselves! Should have let them do it! Even the warrantee was the same! Valvoline - Unacceptable Service - Left Stranded, Car Damaged, and Lack of Accountability I had an extremely disappointing and dangerous experience with Valvoline that resulted in significant vehicle damage and a complete lack of concern from their team. While bringing my car in for an oil change, I was told Valvoline reports all service to Carfax and was told I should have my differential fluid changed every 130,000 miles. I assumed the technician was looking at Carfax, indicating my vehicle needed that service and I was told they could change the fluid and it would only take another 15 minutes. I agreed only to later find out from my regular mechanic I didn't even need that service. The next morning, my vehicle seized up while I was driving on the freeway. I was left stranded with smoke and a burning smell coming from my vehicle. After contacting Valvoline, their response was shockingly dismissive. I was told to call a tow truck, and no one apologized or showed any concern for the safety risk or inconvenience caused. My mechanic later confirmed that Valvoline had failed to put fluid back into the differential, leading to extensive damage that would cost approximately $7000.00 to repair, which could take a couple of weeks. This was unacceptable and completely negligent on their part. I contacted Valvoline Customer Care and was assured that the issue would be escalated to the district manager. The district manager and technicians refused to return my calls. Despite my multiple calls and visits to Valvoline, two days passed with no updates. When I finally spoke to the district manager he was unapologetic and entirely unsympathetic. He indicated that Valvoline was prioritizing their bottom line over customer satisfaction by saying they were looking for the repair solution that was best for the company, not what was best for me or my vehicle. I specifically requested new parts but he refused citing my car's mileage when I went into Valvoline for the service as the reason. He told me he "did research" and they no longer make parts for my vehicle. Ironically, a quick call to a dealership confirmed that new parts were available for my vehicle. In the end, I reluctantly had no choice but to agree to a used differential with fewer miles than my vehicle. The entire process was frustrating, dangerous, and filled with poor customer service. I received my vehicle back with no apologies or acknowledgment of the inconvenience or damage caused, not to mention my safety. This experience has been a nightmare, and I will not be returning to Valvoline or recommending them to anyone. I urge others to be cautious when trusting them with your vehicle. read more

They even replaced some plastic screws that were missing that the manufacturer had missed were not put back in when I had a service at the dealership at no extra cost. Second time I've brought my VW there in the past month just to wait in line to get told they didn't have my oil or filter. The first time they had the filter and not the oil so I want to the auto parts store and bought the Valvoline oil needed from them. Crazy huh, I have to buy Valvoline oil from auto zone because Valvoline doesn't have their own oil. So the second time I came back with the oil and they claimed they didn't have the filter. The time before both of these they changed my oil but didn't have an air filter and they put the dirty air filter back in and drilled the screws sideways into the air box making it extremely difficult to get the air filter box open. I'm just going to bring my VW to the dealer this week as it's been a major waste of my time trying to come to this Valvoline. read more

I have never been to Valvoline to get an oil change but the other day I had very low tire pressure and I went to the local gas station to fill it up with air. Unfortunately, the machine was broken and I didn't know how much further I could drive it in such low air. I pulled up to Valvoline and was immediately approached by Lexi and both Chris Bs. They examined my tire, topped it off for free, and gave me guidance as to what was wrong with it and pointed me where to go. They were all very kind and professional. I went to Walmart 2 hours before they closed the lube center and they told me they were closed, I pointed out their hours and the guy cut me off saying they were closed. I was stressed because I was leaving town the next day. Same with Jiffy Lube, their techs "left early". I get to this place, the guy who greeted me was SUPER friendly, even though I finally found this place 30 minutes before they closed. Smile on his face, polite, informative. All the employees there seemed to have the same easygoing personalities, quick with a smile with all the customers. I would've given them a 4-star rating (not 5-star because they are pricey compared to the local dealer) but they broke my PVC valve when they opened up the air-intake filter housing unit on my 2014 Ford Flex. They of course, have to try to up-sell you on additions but they should at least know what they are doing and what to be cautious about when opening up an air filter housing. I didn't notice the break until a week later when I popped the hood to check my battery and saw the broken PVC connector. And it was obvious it didn't break on its own, nor had it been broken for very long. I would've had far more respect for them and they would have received my continuous return business if they had just 'fessed up to the mistake. Instead, they will never get a dime from me nor a couple of my neighbors (and anyone else who might read this for a recommendation). read more

The young man who helped me (David) was amazing! He made an honest mistake when quoting me the price for replacing my windshield wipers and gave me the price of one instead quoting me the total cost for the pair so I was misled as to what my actual cost was. I asked for David's manager to address the situation thinking he would honor the price quoted and earn a loyal customer. Instead this manager (heavyset with a beard) told me the price I was quoted was for one wiper and David just forgot to say each (duh) and his only solution was he could remove the new wipers and put back my old ones. He did not make any attempt to satisfy a customer. In fact all he did was was have a very poor attitude to go along with the fact his entire crew looked way more professional and acted way more professional then he did! Seeing as I was really given no option I chose to just wrap things up and get out of there rather than deal with this horrible manager any further. David then said hey let me throw you a first time customer coupon for $25 off after big dirty walked away which fully covered the cost difference!! Clear to see David made an honest mistake but also clear to see it's because he is being led by and trained by piss poor management! 5 stars for David for handling things with poise all the way through and coming up with an actual solution! read more
