Here are the facts: ​Document Forgery: They generated an insurance quote and stamped a signature in my name without my authorization, knowledge, or legal consent. This is blatant identity theft and forgery. ​Stolen Funds: My actual auto insurance provider later confirmed that they never received a single penny of this $350.00 payment. The money collected at Toyota of North Miami was completely pocketed and unaccounted for, forcing me to pay my full premium separately to my real insurer. ​Unlicensed Activity: To make matters worse, I discovered that the individual operating on behalf of Legend Services at the dealership does not even hold a valid, active insurance agent license in the State of Florida. ​Operating an insurance brokerage without a license, forging customer signatures, and taking money under false pretenses are serious criminal offenses. A formal Demand Letter has already been sent to management, and complaints are being filed directly with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), the Office of the Florida Attorney General, and local law enforcement. ​Do not trust this dealership. I was offered an uber home and back to the shop when ready, or sign up with their rental car company with a deposit and their insurance. Not understanding how long this was going to be I took the uber home. No update was given that day. When I called on Saturday I was told it wouldn't be looked at until Monday! When I expressed how unacceptable that was, I was told, "I said it might be a while". I was not provided with a single update until Monday when "someone should reach out shortly". Never happened. On Tuesday I got my quote for the repairs 5 days after I dropped it off. $10,000! I called them to ensure all services were denied, and they tried to have me sell them my car as a down payment towards a new one. Avoid at all costs.

We purchased our vehicle in April and were even required to arrange shipping ourselves--something other dealerships we've worked with have always handled. Months later, we are still waiting for our tags. Getting anyone to respond has been nearly impossible. No one will call us directly; communication is limited to email, and every delay comes with another excuse. First, the person handling our paperwork was on vacation. Then we were told it was delayed because it was the end of the month. Now we've been informed that the FedEx package containing our tags has been lost somewhere in the dealership. At this point, there has been a complete lack of accountability, urgency, and customer service. Once they have your money, don't expect the same level of attention you received before the sale. If you have other options, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of dealerships that value their customers both before and after the sale.
