This was one of our favorite restaurants while visiting the Toronto area and dined there twice while visiting because we enjoyed it so much! Bramble is a local mom & pop bistro nestled among the various shops on Blood Street W. They offer upscale pub food that is incredibly delicious! We had the fish and chips, burger, steak frites and the beet salad, which was our collective favorite. The gooseberries they add to the salad are a delightful treat! The service is friendly, they remembered us when we came back to dine again (which we found to be remarkable) and the eclectic and elegant interior design creates a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere!

Have been walking by here for years and finally tried Bramble last night. It's an English inspired gastropub that has an amazing bar with a wide selection of wines to cocktails. The food menu is pretty good as well with something for every palette. Our reservation was for 8:30 and Bramble was packed. The decor here is unique with accent walls along with wallpaper. Do check out the washroom on the first floor as well; it has a unique homey look to it. As for the food, we were happy with everything that we ordered. The risotto was delicious; it is, however, only part of their Valentine's Menu (too bad). We also enjoyed the Chai Creme Brûlée as it was unique. Service was excellent and quite attentive. I'm a fan and can't wait to return to try other menu items. Bramble is certainly a gem in the Kingsway. Good for: lunch, dinner, drinks

Very cool, retro diner, gorgeous wood interior with old jukebox and original? Booths and counter…read moreseating Service was fine. Food was not quite as expected for good diner fare- no heaping portions, no option to add onions to homefries as they are deep fried, Benedict a bit dry

24 hour spot! I…read morerepeat 24 hours, which is extremely rare to find now a days since covid started . The place was giving diner / family friendly vibes. Located in downtown Toronto. It had Plenty of space and seating available. Our server was very welcoming and gave the perfect amount of time in between checking in on is throughout. I always ask for the recommendations or popular items, and what he told us did not disappoint. When traveling finding amazing food and new experiences is my #1 goal, and The Lakeview was a great place to add to my list. They leave little note pads and markers on the table to allow you to post messages , drawings and positive messages . I thought that was a perfect idea to kill time and share messages to others around the world. We we're a party of 4. I order the most popular item; The Cornflake chicken sandwich, with there fresh cut fries. The other order at the table where the well know all day breakfest plater, and a burger with onion rings. Everything was delicious. All the food came out at the same time. Only down side was there home fry potatoes where prenty from. Besides that we had a great time and the food was delicious. Must try when your visiting !
