Y'ALL!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I had to after eating here! I was passing through Paducah on a road trip from Alabama(home) and Nebraska(where I currently live), and decided to stay the night here with storms moving through. I did a quick search for Vegan food and this amazing place popped up. I ordered the Mediterranean falafel bowl! It is PERFECTION! So many amazing flavors. Absolutely loved the pickled cabbage, which added a great tang to the dish! The Mac-n-cheese was also delicious and very filling! I have messaged all my family and told them about this place for when they drive through. Stopping here is an absolute must!!! You will not regret it. read more

Go here! You wasn't regret it. We were passing through on the way to scratch brewing. I saw the reviews and checked out the menu and was sold. I was NOT disappointed. Everything we had was very well executed and tasted great. We tried the HOP fish taco which was good. I think it needed a little spice for a kick but still a great taco. The oyster mushroom poboy was excellent. Again, I like spice so having that as an option (make it spicy) or putting a hot sauce on the side would take this to the next level. The plantain tacos were my favorite. The seasoning was on point and I'd only suggest adding some red onion. We had a few leftover onions from the fish taco, added then and that was the setoff. I have not tried the pumpkin chili but I wanted to write this review while the food was fresh in my mind. If we find ourselves back in Paducah we will for sure return! read more

Was driving through back to Nashville and stopped by to check this place out. We have a dairy/gluten free lifestyle and this place is incredible. It's so refreshing to be able to have SO many options at one restaurant for dietary restrictions. Also, the food was delicious and the copy cat versions of traditionally unhealthy food was better than the originals. Highly recommend the bacon cheese fries and 'fish' tacos. Did I mention that the milkshakes are dairy free and delicious?! Because they are! I came home and immediately made a copy cat version of both entrees that made me miss this restaurant even more. I love this place so much that we are driving back from Nashville soon to eat here. We don't have anything like this at all here and I'm so jealous. I'm not vegan, not even vegetarian, but I do avoid gluten. Just a personal thing. I wanted to give this a try just to see what it was like. I've eaten a few vegan restaurants before, and I have not been impressed. I had heard good things about Branch Out, so I went. I was absolutely knocked out. The first time I went there I kept it simple: Indian french fries, kale slaw, and a soup. Everything was tasty, very nice. I was in Paducah again yesterday and decided to go back, I had the Indian street tacos and a spring salad. Oh my God!!! Totally impressed. Seasoned so nice! the tacos contained potato, cauliflower, and lentil. The only thing I didn't care for was the fake ranch dressing, but... No big deal. Their desserts are freaking fantastic. I bought six cupcakes the first time, yesterday I bought six more cupcakes and some donuts. Thank goodness for this hidden gem! Decor is minimal and clean, and the space is filled with tons of natural light and nature like material. Making the space vivid with movement. The menu features fixed staples ranging from apps to sharable/small plates and entrees. As well as a lovely pastry case and seasonal specials. I got the small order of quinoa nachos, which was super satisfying and filling. Light airy chips were generously coated with a huge mound of guacamole, fresh and perfectly spiced pico, cashew cheese and quinoa protein. Almost if created by a nacho god there was the perfect amount of everything to eat the entire plate. I was left scraping every edge of my tray. Delicious! I also ordered the bibimbap bowl with brown rice. A large generous shallow bowl was mounded with mushrooms, tofu, sprouts, cucumbers, kimchi, and carrot daikon slaw. Everything was presented so orderly and beautiful as tradition. When mixed together everything was great as well. The different textures and flavors burst at every bite leaving me wanting another scoop to see what combination would come next. I do wish there was some fresh herbs to cut through the richness and depth of flavors but without it the dish still thrives. My mom got the fried green tomato sandwich with the seasonal soup, curried lentil tomato. She was so shocked at how satisfied and delicious it was. She's not into tofu and is weird about certain foods because she doesn't try new things or know how to cook hahaha. All the portions are very reasonable and priced well. We also got some pastries Togo because they looked too delicious to pass up! Carrot cake cupcake, chocolate cupcake with avocado frosting, almond butter blondie, blueberry donut and mocha donut. Before writing this the carrot cake was the only one I've tried for the night. The flavor was great and very moist. Like unbelievably so, and although I scrapped off most of the frosting because it was way too sweet and runny (plus I hate frosting) it was still good. My only thought is to have a little less sweet product, and that's probably personal taste because I am not big on overly sweet sweets or cake. In all I think this place is amazing. The staff is kind and keep the place clean, they offer gender neutral bathrooms and practice recycling. The food is well executed and flavorful. I will be making the extra detour my next time through Kentucky back home to Tennessee to support this lovely establishment. And you should too! read more

This is a casual diner that serves all Plant Based Foods! But don't let that scare you away........while I am Vegan, my Husband is not. We both loved this place! The food was unique, and simply amazing! My husband ordered the Kimchi pancake and we both thought it to be outstanding. The blend of unusual flavors were spot on! I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT and it was just ok. It was served on a thick bun, which I think would be much better on two slices of bread. The bun was so thick, that the flavors got lost in all that bread. And we Southern Girls love to taste our Fried Green Tomatoes! The Poutine was ok, but I thought that the flavors of the gravy were a bit off. We also ordered some Indian Street fries - which were delicious - crunchy on the outside, fluffy potato on the inside and the seasoning was just amazing! The desserts looked way too good to not try - so we got several. The Premium Doughnuts were....wellllllllll....SOooooooo good!!! We went and ordered some to take home with us! Loved the iced Oatmeal cookie as well. The peanut butter cookie didn't have a strong peanut flavor, so that was just ok. But OHhhhhhh....those.....donuts!! We loved all of the different flavors. Complementary ice tea is available, and refreshing. You can be sure that we will stop again on our next visit to Paducah. I only wish that Knoxville, TN had one of these diners!! I tried their tacos once and they are vegetarian so of course no meat which isn't a problem it was beans instead but it was so salty I could barley eat it. But this was years ago and they are at a new location so maybe they have gotten better! I would try it again but not the tacos read more

Did a quick stop to the area... as a celiac the pickings are slim on the road... so I was very excited to give this place a try. So glad we stopped! They have complementary drink station of water & tea so that was a great surprise. Parking out front is basically nonexistent... extra parking around back was easy to navigate. Staff was super nice, but the floors were sticky. The bacon cheese burger with the impossible patty was absolutely delicious. Best vegan burger I have ever had. Fries were not crisp but hot and tasty. The gluten free bun... needs to be mass marketed... good taste and didn't fall apart like most do while eating. Falafel bowl... wasn't impressed... it was a large portion, ate very heavy, and the roasted cauliflower was over charred making the entire bowl very bitter. The sauce was plentiful and a bit overwhelming. Let me talk about the strawberry cupcake... WOW... The strawberry frosting was simply exquisite... lots of berry flavor with a soft whipped texture that wasn't too sweet. The cake is as unbelievably moist with just a hint of the tell tale gummy sign of a gluten free baked good. Would for sure stop here again! read more

This place is amazing! We were in search of a place on our long drive to make a quick stop at. As I read the menu out loud to my husband, he said 90% of the menu sounded good. So we placed a pickup order for the Mediterranean Falafel Bowl and Nacho Burger. The order was ready on time and the restaurant looked exceptionally clean inside! The food was so delicious. This place is just great ! My favorite dish is the hearts of palm tacos ........... seasonal items change we have had an liked the gyro bowl ! I think its called Korean bibimap........ or somethin like that its great ! Meatless burgers of different variety! Hand made onion rings ! Beans and rice ! All the donuts and cupcakes ! I would like to start by saying that the quinoa nachos were killer. The Louisville vegan jerky is unusual but enjoyable and the chocolate chip blondie bar was chewy and delicious. The peanut butter cookie was textured like a cake or a loaf and a little dry. The banh mi was not good. The bread they used to make the sandwich was like a crumbly country biscuit rather than a French baguette which is what a banh mi is typically made with. If the owner is reading this: please fix this! because a vegan banh mi could easily be so much more delicious than what I just paid for. read more

I've been vegan for almost 6 years now and I was very disappointed by their business model and food quality. The service was really nice but when I asked if I could sub in an item off of the kids menu as a side they said no. That wasn't too big of a deal but when my boyfriend asked if he could have the blondie with ice cream she asked him if he wanted it a la mode (there that means adding ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and peanuts). He asked if he could just get the ice cream and she said that he could have all or none, which is really kinda crappy because a la mode doubles the price of the item. When the food came out it looked really good but none of it was really all that amazing. The blondie was dry, even with all the ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and nuts. You could very easily tell that the iced cream was from the grocery store, something anyone could pick up. The Mac and cheese wasn't like southern mac and cheese. It mostly tasted like butter and nutritional yeast and was really quite dry. The crispy quinoa nachos were good but they just didn't taste like anything that I couldn't make at home, especially the cashew cheese. All the food was okay but not what I would expect when you're spending the extra money to go out to eat. I was very excited to get a local vegan restaurant but overall pretty disappointed. read more
