Was delivering to this place almost 15 years ago and it's still owned by the same owner. The atmosphere was casual as locals were coming in for lunch. The service has always been good and the food quality and quantity is awesome. I thought at first it was a little pricey when I paid. That was until the food came out. Everything tasted great. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings. My husband had a double cheeseburger with fries. I would have given them a 5 except I paid $3.69 for the onion rings and only got 5. That makes them more than .50 each. They were good but not worth the price. I had a late lunch at Parcell's this past weekend. I had the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich and chicken enchilada soup. the sandwich was served a baked in house bun the chicken cooked just perfect and the soup was hot and flavorful. Always great service and super quick from the kitchen. Lots to see as they have a bakery, coffee shop and gift shop all the space. Giving it a boutique kind of vibe. Went in with a friend(my first time there). She ordered a cheeseburger and fries and I ordered a chicken sandwich and fried pickles. She recieved her order and the other customers around us received their orders and finished eating. I went to the counter to inquire about mine and was told to give them 5-10 more minutes. I waited another 10 mins and still no food. I went back to the counter and asked for a refund and again told that it's almost ready. I asked again for my refund because my friend had finished her meal and was ready to leave. I was again told it was almost ready and if I chose the refund then they would just throw the food away. I told them I just wanted the refund so we could leave. They refunded my card but kept the $2 tip I had added when I ordered. Didn't even offer to make it right. I won't be back. read more

I've only had their cheeseburger, fries, and no bake cookies, however it was the best cheeseburger I've ever put in my mouth! If I'm not mistaken, I believe they make their bread fresh every day and that's exactly what makes this cheeseburger stand out above all others! I won't order a cheeseburger from anywhere else. I also live in Murray so I'm more than willing to make the drive when the food is that good! The employees are beyond wonderful! Their cookies are delicious and huge considering what you would get at most places. I heard about this place from several different friends and I'm so glad I took their advice and finally was able to try them out! You should too! Went to a XC meet at Marshall High last weekend and had friends rave, no RAVE about Parcell's. I had the Ruben and stole some of the bosses french fries - okay I ate a bunch. The rye bread was good, I just think there was so much bread. Secret, I think the rye bread is made with mostly white flour. I eat a ton of rye and this wasn't rye bread, but it tasted good. The filling was pretty much AWOL from the sandwich. The boss didn't like her burger, said it was too salty. I thought their burger bun was good, I stole a bite of the bun from her largely leftover sandwich. The fries tasted like they were cooked in the oven, rather undercooked in the oven. No idea how they actually cook them, just talking about the taste. My soda was good. Big miss after the hype. Maybe we had a bad meal, it happens. The place was BUSY so there must be something more than our poor experience. Maybe a second try, but probably not on purpose. read more

A friendly place with delicious food, my favorites are chicken salad and burgers. Don't count on "fast" food, and it might be a little (lot) crowded sometimes, but for this area it's one of the best small cafes around. And attached to a bakery and coffee shop, it's all-day good. read more

Located in a strip mall setting in which Parcell's takes up most of the store front space they are busy during lunchtime because they cheerfully serve up good food! The display cases are loaded with delicious baked goods and fresh salads. The menu is simple but also loaded with many tasty choices! Including cheeseburgers, chicken salad, etc. Several variations of the sandwiches available and a Special of the day too! My first was the Jalapeño burger loaded with pepper slices and a double beef patty on a deli type roll that was refreshingly different than the chain burger places! My wife tried the mushroom and Swiss burger and neither of us finished them but not for good taste but just large portions. Took them home for later. We'll return for sure and try some more of their great food. read more

Definitely my local favorite!! The deli has good sandwiches on homemade bread, the sides are amazing too & unique (broccoli salad, fresh fruit salad, tortilla salad). Awesome place! My usual is the mushroom and Swiss burger. Every burger is on a homemade bun. That really makes a difference. The service is good, friendly. Sometimes they are just swamped with customers and there's a long wait. But there's a great shop in the same building, you don't even have to go outside, the restaurant just flows into the shop, bakery, and coffee shop. All under one roof. Also has some dining outside. Ok y'all I found a bakery not far from Kentucky Dam Village Resort. I actually found it by mistake while in the parking lot at Food Giant. It's a nice store that is about 3 stores combined. Almost an off brand Cracker Barrel type of store, not serving breakfast. They have a variety of pastries. Some of the pastries are Bavarian cream filled eclairs, lemon filled donuts, pineapple, blueberry and apple fritters, chocolate, strawberry, blueberry and plain cake donuts. They also have cookies, brownies, whole cakes and cupcakes. I've only tried the bakery, before I go home I'm going to try the deli. read more

Honestly, I haven't had much luck finding a decent place in western Kentucky to eat over the years, outside of the usual national chains. Parcell's makes a good burger. We always stop here on our way to the Lake but this time they were unorganized and short staffed. We ordered 2 BLT sandwiches to go and when we opened them there were 2 Bacon and mayonnaise on bread sandwiches, no tomato, no lettuce...uneatable We won't be stopping there again. read more
