Camping at Canal Campground and we found this cute little Cafe. Oh my the workers, we could not of asked for better gals or service and ifood breakfast was amazing. We also met some locals there and they were super people, as they left the restaurant they gave us $5 to apply toward our tip which we thought was different and so thoughtful. We will go back every time we are in the area, Great place !!

The locals greeted me like I'd just come back from a long trip instead of walking in for the first time. Either they're incredibly friendly or they thought I needed supervision. Either way, solid welcome. Service was minimal in the best possible way. No hovering, life story, or unnecessary check-ins. Just quick, friendly, and efficient, like they understood I came to eat, not start a long term relationship. Now here's where things take a turn: the food has no business being this good. I ordered the Southside Supreme Pizza, and I'm still trying to figure out how a place that looks like it could host a darts league championship is casually putting out world class pizza. I've had pizza from all over the world and this place can hold its own. Thin, perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and enough cheese to make you question your priorities but not your choices. It's like the pizza didn't get the memo about where it was being served. So yeah, I give it 5 stars. Come for the dive bar charm, stay because the food quietly outperforms half of the "fancy" places that make you wait 45 minutes for a table and then serve you a disappointment on a wooden board. I'll definitely be back. Next time I might even try to look like I belong.

The ambiance is "Cracker Barrel meets old dusty floral decor," which in my humble opinion is a very "cluttered and clausterphobic" atmosphere, but it is still worth going to visit. The dust layers on all the fake florals was just a little hard on my allergies but the shops & restaurant food was worth it.

We had been here over the summer, and stopped by with our daughter to share the experience. Service is always good, and some of the food is great. It seemed like the 1 inch porkchop was not as good as the gigantic one I had last time, but I coykd be crazy. My husband woukd say I was crazy, so there is that. My daughter loved her fish. The mashed potatoes with white gravy were so good, I ate those first. Hubby asked for a garden salad with salmon. He got a spinach salad with salmon. Our server brought it out and offered to have it remade, but the salad looked wonderful and he really enjoyed it. Kudos to the chef for standing his ground haha. We were too full for dessert. Highly recommend, for the experience and the cute period clothing. Get reservations though! We have to wait over an hour on our first visit. We made reservations the 2nd time and we're seated within 10 minutes.

First of all, our waitress, Hannah, was SO nice - she checked on us often, was able to answer our questions, served us as quickly as she was able, AND she worked with me on my unique special request. Second, the atmosphere is so homey. There was Oldies on the radio, the lights weren't too bright, and the smell of the food just made me feel so comfortable. Third, their food was so good - we ordered fried mushrooms and garlic olive oil dipping sauce for our bread as appetizers, my husband ordered pasta, and I had a Sicilian pizza. The bread was soft and fresh, the mushrooms had the most delicious breading, the olive oil was flavorful, and my husband and I were in love with our entrees!! The entree portions are really large, too, so I'm actually really happy we're going to be able to enjoy their food again haha. Lastly, they were extremely courteous when it came to our still working on our food just past close - Hannah even made us feel at ease when she offered us dessert and I'd almost turned her down because it had just turned closing time (their tiramisu is SOOO good, by the way). We're not sure if were going to be in the area ever again, but if we ever come this way again, we're definitely stopping in for a meal. This place deserves all the praise!!
