I will tell you, Home Depot and Lowe's have nothing in stock. Delivery schedule will be a week or more out, even though the warehouse is as close as the Denver area. Great customer service! Yes, I am being sarcastic. Christy at Manweiler Appliance worked with me, she knows the appliances they have in stock, what the appliance bells and whistles are and, sure, I could have brought my new washing machine home today, although I prefer to have their guys haul it up my deck steps, into my home and complete the hook up process. Oh, I don't have to wait a week. I will be doing my laundry tomorrow! Thank you Christy!

I live in an apartment in Wellington. The owner corporation has had Manweiler out THREE times…read morebecause my washing machine won't spin. I live alone & do laundry about every 10 days. The 2 repairmen who have been sent out the last 2 times have been incredibly insulting. They run the washer on drain/spin (empty of course), tell me it's working - and that's it. No checking the belt or the filter - nothing. I pay rent to use these machines in my apartment - but have had to go to the laundromat FOUR times because although the machine tub drains, it does NOT spin with clothes in it. Period. I have been given these excuses: Your loads are too small; Your loads are too large; You're using too much detergent The bubbles mess with the sensor (there are no bubbles) The load was out of balance (it wasn't) Water makes whatever is in the machine heavier (no kidding). NO MORE. Mine is the 2nd washing machine in the last few weeks that these repairman have failed to adequately inspect or repair. Both my neighbor and I have had to purchase our own washer/dryer set and make our apartment manager remove the sets from our unit (we can't rent only the dryer, so we've had to purchase an entire set). The last repairman told me that clothes have enough detergent in them when the clothing is dry that the clothing could be washed without detergent - and that I can smell the detergent in my own clothes. When I told him I could not, in fact, smell the detergent on my clothes he replied, "Then you aren't washing your clothes" . I had to hear about his training and his 10 years of doing this job...but he was either too dumb or lazy to inspect the washer beyond running it empty for 5 minutes. I'm done. I'll be telling new tenants about the inability of Manweiler repairmen to do their job. And about having to be insulted when the come out and do ...nothing.

You get what you pay for at the big box stores and I had a less than positive experience with a chain appliance store a couple of years ago. So I went to Mountain High Appliance, a CO owned and operated business. Robert was the sales person who greeted and helped me, even though I discovered upon my arrival that I had forgotten my credit card at home. I told him what my preferences were and, out of their large selection, he guided me to the Speed Queens. They are more expensive than other brands, but also more reliable and made in the USA. He helped me to make my purchase even without my credit card in hand. Later in the day Robert called to let me know that the dryer I wanted was backordered by Speed Queen but he made it possible for me to purchase the floor models of the set I had chosen. Throughout the process Robert was helpful, knowledgable and timely with his communications. Mountain HIgh's delivery staff is not contracted out , so delivery service is so much better than any other place I have experienced! No dinging up entry ways or walls! And they ran tests on both machines to make sure they were working before they left! By far my best experience buying appliances from beginning to end! The old adage applies: you get what you pay for! And I didn't find them that much more than the big box stores.

Gave us time to shop without hovering like a lot of business do. They have a large selection, just wish their deals were better than the big box stores.

Long story short - they delivered 2 "brand new" washers with huge holes in the drum and are taking no responsibility and we have yet to receive a refund or confirmation of a refund and it's been almost 3 weeks since our order. We bought a brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer set on 4/26/25. All seemed well and John Hartley the salesman seemed helpful and kind. We ended up buying brand new (instead of scratch and dent) to avoid any possible issues down the road. Delivery was 4/29/25 and within 20 minutes of the washer being installed and running the test cycle, water was leaking all over the floor. The delivery people refused to come back and check their own installation. We called the store and was told that we needed to call Whirlpool to get a technician out to look at the machine. The technician arrived on Thursday (5/1/25) and the moment he took the cover off the machine he noticed a huge hole right in the drum which was the source of the leak. He actually told us that this was caused by either the delivery team dropping the unit or someone mishandling and dropping it at the Appliance Factory warehouse or somewhere along the line from the manufacturer. We called Appliance Factory back and asked them to send out a new machine - we were extremely patient with them but frustrated since this was brand new, but mistakes happen right? They delivered another brand new machine on 5/8/25 and I personally went out to meet the drivers and had them open the cover on the driveway and it revealed another even bigger hole in the drum. I rejected the delivery and they took the machine away and since we still had the old broken machine in our basement I demanded that they take that one as well since what were we going to do with a broken washer? We decided we no longer wanted the dryer either since it was clear to us they are selling defective machinery and have no integrity behind the products they are selling. We have talked with management (Doug) and John 5+ times since this entire situation and they do not stand behind the products they are selling and are quick to throw the manufacturer under the bus. If you encounter an issue with anything you buy from them, they have no repair team or refund process that doesn't involve them getting a credit from the manufacturer before releasing your money back to you. They will continue to hold your money hostage and claim that everything is "above their paygrade" and "out of their control". They also told us that they found 14 units with holes in the drum that were supposedly "new" so who knows what they are actually selling to you. Doug (the manager of this store who avoids getting on the phone and prefers his salespeople be the buffer between him and customers unless you call the president's hotline) has no integrity, compassion, or thought behind his actions. I have attached pictures of the drum holes as evidence. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a big box store that is easier to work with and doesn't hold your money hostage.
