If you get the new type of fillings, with the ceramic prints... they're pretty amazing. United Concordia will cover part of it, but not all, so be mindful of your insurance. Since it's my back molars, I needed the stronger filling, so it was worth it in the end for me. This office is awesome, but not all offices in the "Smile Generation" portal are as good, so be careful when choosing a doctor on the portal.

I waited about 15 minutes past my 6PM appt time to be seen. This office is about a year old. The staff is diverse and they made every effort to make sure my visit was comfortable. They have a comfort menu that offers complimentary lip balm, eye mask, blanket... etc. I don't dread the dentist after my appointment at The Dental Boutique. Dr. Vallo was transparent and professional about my treatment. Great Expressions could never compare... they have a tv on the ceiling and one facing you that displays a greeting "Welcome [Insert Your Name Here]". The staff greeted me warmly, and Megan took great care of me both at the start and after my visit. The X-rays were quick and painless. Aspen Dental traumatized me with this. Nicole, the hygienist, was absolutely amazing. She gave my mouth a deep, thorough cleaning and really took her time to make sure everything was done right. Afterward, she spent a few minutes educating me on recommended floss, proper flossing and brushing techniques, and the impact behind tartar and plaque. My visit was truly a 10/10 experience. I had two appointments for two children scheduled at 8:30 and 8:40 AM, and I will not be returning. The woman at the front desk was shockingly rude and dismissive. I politely asked if the TV volume could be turned down because it was extremely loud, and she flatly said "no." No explanation, no courtesy, no professionalism. Then she blatantly lies and said it couldn't be turned down and that it was set at one volume. Which I knew was a lie. Then after I unplugged it then she became irate and I said I asked you to please turn it down. She refused to and I unplugged it again. This time she turned it down. I said so you could have done that when I initially asked. This proves she was just being nasty and mean for no apparent reason. I was not rude at first. But because she was being mean and hateful towards me yes I then gave her the same treatment. No one deserves to be treated in that manner from your staff and especially someone in her position. You're a manager and this is how you treat customers/patients? Someone needs to learn office management skills and customer service etiquette. Angel apparently lacks both. The TV was so loud that I could not hear the staff member who called me back to discuss whether there were any issues with my child. This is a small office, which made the situation even more unreasonable. Another woman in the lobby had to move from underneath the TV because it was so loud, confirming this was clearly a problem. I also observed another woman in the lobby with her son who was visibly upset, apparently experiencing the same lack of courtesy and professionalism. This behavior did not appear to be an isolated incident. Front-desk staff are the face of a medical practice, and this individual was the epitome of rude, nasty, and disrespectful. The practice bills additional codes and double dips with insurance to maximize profits. Practice should be investigated for insurance fraud. I suggest finding a reputable establishment versus visiting this one. The establishment itself has all the bells and whistles and is aesthetically pleasing but I prefer a dental firm that does quality work, treats patients with respect, and doesn't try to get over. Update: I found a new dental office the same day and had the same procedures that this firm said I needed on my treatment plan. Both are in-network providers with my insurance but somehow the new place calculated at $380 less out of pocket than what Rivercrest calculated. This place is def doing something shady with their billing practices. Ignorance is not an excuse for insurance fraud.
