I had surgery here for macular hole and a slight retina tear. The surgery went well and the staff…read morewas very caring and the surgery center staff was great. The only issue I had is that I was told multiple things that contradicted each other. For example, the surgery center told me that I would wear a shield over my eye for two weeks straight all day long. When I went to my follow up appointment, they told me no I really only needed to wear it at night time. The surgery center told me that I could request nausea medication from the doctors office. Should I feel nauseous. I did indeed feel nauseous and had dizziness and motion type sickness from this surgery. I spoke with the doctors office and they informed me that they do not write prescriptions for nausea medication, but that I would have to call my primary care physician for that. They aren't even aware I'm having the surgery! I also had my first appointment and we agreed I would have the surgery as soon as possible in the next available date. We were both available. Never heard from the scheduler, then finally called them after about 10 days and the surgery was scheduled for a few weeks out! Scheduler said Dr. had written not urgent. I did call the doctors office and it was rectified and moved back to the originally discussed date. There were multiple things like this and it got confusing and a little frustrating for me that the surgery center and doctors's offices are not on the same page. Again, I did like the staff and the doctors.

Care quality and Office experience were good. However I filled the 2 ophthalmic prescriptions at…read moreAlbertsons/ Safeway for over $88 !! However I am MOST annoyed that her office sent me a link for these same 2 RX for around $50 TODAY AFTER I FILLED THE RX!!! Most aggravating and of course the store won't take them back. Dumb of me not to check GoodRX. Is there another retinologist in the area?

Christian, Debbie, and Cynthia were incredibly accommodating and made the check-in process smooth and easy. Dr. Nix is a true gem! Her knowledge and expertise in eye care are evident from the moment she starts her examination. She takes the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring that I understood my vision needs and options. I was thoroughly impressed with how efficient and thorough she is--definitely a doctor who cares about her patients! The entire team is not only professional but also super friendly and patient. They made my visit enjoyable--not something you usually hear when it comes to eye exams! I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my eye health. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional care with a fun and inviting atmosphere that will work for an entire family, I 10/10 recommend Wagner Eye Associates. Dr. Nix and her amazing team truly go above and beyond! You won't be disappointed!

I lost much of my vision in one eye because Dr. Wagner does not dilate eyes to check for issues…read more For two years I described new vision problems I was having to Dr Wagner. He said it didn't sound like anything he was familiar with. I also told him that another optometrist saw swelling in the back of one eye after she dilated it. He said he didn't see swelling or anything else wrong. He never dilated my eyes to look. He said it wasn't necessary because he uses a machine to take a picture, without dilation. Three eye surgeries later, my vision is still greatly reduced. An Opthomologist immediately saw that I had a torn retina and performed emergency surgery to prevent blindness (after she dilated my eyes to look.). I am leaving this review in hopes of saving others from having severe vision loss.
