Nearly criminal pricing. My 65 year old mother called to have them come clear a plugged toilet. After arriving nearly two hours after she expected them, they told her they couldn't do it without removing the toilet and it gave her a quote for over $900. She called me and I told her to send them on their way. They charged her a $200 service charge and made her feel ashamed for not going through with the job. I called another plumber I've used before and they quoted $250, so I scheduled them. When I called and spoke with Tim, he tried to explain to me how difficult of a job it would be to remove the toilet and clear the line. After questioning him, he admitted it would likely take under an hour. He then told me that he didn't quote $970 that he actually quoted $790 or something of that nature. I don't believe him over my mother and if you are willing to change your prices that quickly you know you're being unethical anyways. TIM, I'm a man of my word and I promised you a 1 star review. Had a leak in my dishwasher and had to remove. Discovered the shut off valve was broken and had to turn off the water to the house. Called Brandon Plumbing and they were able get to my house is just a few hours. Had them replace all the valves under the sink, 3 in total. Also had them replace a leaking hose bibb that had had a small leak. Grateful they were able to get my water back on same day I called them. Total for the 3 values and hose bibb was $982.55. read more

When other plumbers said no, Brandon said yes. We had an emergency situation after another plumber had been out to "fix" the problem. Main drain pipe going to the sewer was blocked and the other plumber was told yet they ran their auger towards the house Instead of the street. By the time we realized the other plumber had screwed up it was after hours, sewage was backing up our drains, and we had tried to get them back with no luck, Brandon was not only able to get someone out but within 30 minutes. Within a little over an hour of us calling the problem was resolved! It was a expensive being after hours but worth it in my opinion. Did I mention it took 4 days to get the other plumber out here to do the job? Called last minute and told us they would have to reschedule the first time, arrived without an auger (after telling them they would need one) the second, and the third time they did the job so wrong that it got worse. Like I said, Brandon was here in 30 minutes, knew what to do, and was done in a little over an hour after initial contact. Guess who is our first call from now on? read more

Call around and you will find that they are price gauging customers double the cost of what other licensed plumbers charge. Tim is who I spoke to and it is most likely the same person others had a bad experience with. Gave Tim a chance to save face on why his prices were twice as much as his competitors and what his people would do to justify me paying double everyone else's prices and he said he didn't need to justify, which I guess I respect if he's the owner. $675 to clear a clog on a Saturday vs. $340-$360 through their competition. We had an urgent situation with a whole house clog while my wife was 40 weeks plus a few days... Tim and his team responded quickly, and very courteously, to our situation and fixed the issue. The plumber on site, Ernesto was fantastic! He explained what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future. I feel fortunate that we will be able to find someone that did what they would say they would do, when they told us they would do it. Unfortunately that's not always the case. It's good to know there are still contractors out there you can trust. I highly recommend Tim and his team and will have them on speed dial for any future needs. read more

I had a pipe leak under my kitchen sink. I called several plumbing companies and Tim from Brandon Plumbing called me right-of-way. I told Tim I needed the work done on that day because I had taken the day off from work. Tim took that under consideration and dispatched the technician to show up at my house before lunch time to assess the leak situation. Based on my conversation with Tim, his technician Jim was finishing up a job in Pinellas County and I would be the next customer. I must say, on that day we had very bad storms and Jim was running a little bit late. He called to let me know his estimated time of arrival.  Jim was very polite, friendly and professional. During his assessment, in addition to the leaking pipe, he noted a leaking water supply valve. He took the time to explain and make recommendation on what he needed to do to fix both leaks. Upon my approval of the work, he contacted his office and within a few minutes I received a call from Tim with the estimate and the warranty work explanation.  Jim did an excellent job; I am very happy with the result and Tim was very professional. I highly recommend this company; they are responsive, professional and affordable. More importantly, they provide quality work. Brandon Plumbing will overcharge you. Beware!! I never got a receipt for the kitchen faucet installed. Tim was talking nice to me on the phone but if he knows you don't know about plumbing work he will give you ridiculous estimates. I kept asking for a receipt. He would send a text and say he was working on it, going to send it, email not working. Total BS!! I can see on other reviews he has done the same to other customers. I talked to an experienced plumber about my faucet and the install. He said I was over charged! To this day I have not received a receipt for the job. read more

He texted me his direct number while on the line with me to make sure I had it and said the plumber would be in contact to give quote and schedule. Had an issue with all 4 toilets not flushing on the ground floor and water coming up the master shower. Called Sunday night. Received a return call at 7am that someone would be out later that morning. Ernesto showed up around 11. After about 15 minutes, we discovered that it was probably a main line sewer clog and needed to be snaked. So he had to remove the toilet. OK. But he had no wax seal so he had to go buy one. 45 minutes later he was back and snakes the toilet for about 20 minutes until he broke through the clog. He then replaced the wax seal and master toilet and cleaned up. All was good until I was given the bill $769.00!!!!!! For less than 2 hours work? I was shocked but I did pay the bill and was happy to have working toilets again. (by the way was given no invoice only shown a text message from the owner and the amount)... I later texted the owner telling him that (upon research) I was overcharged by about $250.00 bare minimum. I was charged over $350.00 per hour!!!!! He responded that it was a flat rate job and there was nothing he could do about it. (Ernesto was a sub-contractor btw). While I am grateful that I have working toilets, I was completely taken advantage of...no doubt in my mind. Never ever again. read more

Did work for my neighbor. She's a single older woman, disabled, and an easy target. They installed 2 cheap toilets, that after having to remove one myself and put back in place, took me about 15 minutes total off and on. Their person spent no longer than an hour in her home. her Final bill..a WHOPPING $1875!! Yes you read that right. $1875. Shame shame and many other words I'd like to add but wont. Do you really have a response for this??? Show the invoice for parts and labor. without tweaking it with a bunch of baloney you spoke with me about on the phone. I see what Top P wrote. Double Tom P? Well, what more can I say than 'five star service'? I called Tim at 9:00 am with an emergency request at one of my rental properties. Broken bathtub faucet handle and tenant unable to shut off the water. Within minutes he had one of his plumbers, Mark, scheduled to drive out. Mark coordinated via text and cell with both me and my tenant, arrived on-site at 11:00 AM-ish. Ten minutes later, the problem is fixed. Everyone's happy. read more

I had a main line from the county leaking into my soil and turning it into a mud pit. I made the repairs myself, but when the water was turned on I found a new problem, a coupling further down line that had never been glued and broke. After 2 days of sweating I called and Tim who hooked me up with his technician Stacey. Showed up within a few hours. He was honest and said that my prior work looked great and I could complete the job myself. Being wore out, I had him complete the work. Thirty minutes the job was done and I paid a reasonable price. Had a terrible experience with this company. Hired them to do a bathtub install and all new piping for the tub.Nothing was done right and some things werent done at all. The worst thing done was when the overflow drain pipe didnt line up with the hole in the tub , Mark tried to cover it up by installing the overflow cover plate without attaching the drain pipe.That was a flood waiting to happen downstairs.Had to have another company come in to redo everything and they did an excellent job for one third the price. All I wanted was some of my money back , but no responce. read more

I feel like I struck gold with this company. From the moment I called them (picked from a Google search after calling several others in my area), the owner/manager Tim did a great job of listening to my issue (a newly discovered pipe leak behind the wall in my laundry closet), offering some suggestions, possible fixes, then scheduling an appointment the very next day. He even gave me his cell number in case I needed to reach him quickly. He and his technician Jim showed up the next morning, fully assessed the problem and got to work. They were both extremely professional and the work itself is outstanding. Tim himself turned out to be quite an interesting guy - during the repair job he and I talked quite a bit; very personable, friendly and positive. It was beyond clear that these folks are a very customer-oriented company and that they care about and value those who hire them. My girlfriend and I almost asked them to stay for dinner, they were that good! Oh, and the price they charged for the repair was very reasonable. I am happy knowing that if I have any future plumbing issues arise that I have these folks to call. I know I am in good hands with an honest, hard-working, customer-oriented company. read more

Would NEVER recommend to anyone. i started out calling Dry Wizard, Got Brandon Plumbing & Tim ended up having me write a check to Angelhat. Who are they? Workers dropped a piece in my wall then charged me for the time to rig another piece. now i have to call another company in to fix a problem i now have after their botched job. they charged me double the price for a cartridge and the quote Tim gave me in the beginning ended up being double the cost. still have not received a receipt Tim promised 5 days ago.
