Jeanette (the cashier) from the Dania store was friendly and helpful, which contrasted with what we experienced on the floor. It was difficult to determine who worked there. Some workers spoke among themselves, but nobody came to assist until we were on our way to the registers, after finding the location of our purchase on our own. I suppose motivation was low since it was the end of the day. Jeanette made up for it, engaging in conversation/chitchat with my 9 y/o son who was making the purchase on his own. I don't know why Carmen McGee is the associate on my receipt, since she definitely didn't assist me with anything. We purchased a stackable full size Samsung washer/ dryer matching set approximately 7 years ago with a warranty. The washer started making a loud noise on spin cycle and stopped working one week after our warranty expired. We purchased another matching Samsung washer, the same model, to replace that one with another 5 year warranty. After 2 years, the washer started making a loud noise on spin cycle again. We reported this to the warranty department at BrandsMart who sent someone out to look. We were approved for a replacement. At BrandsMart, Carlos R. and Robert K.helped us find another replacement washer since they no longer had the same model anymore. They helped us with matching the cost of the replacement credit and helped us set up another delivery and stack installation which was very nice considering that this was the third washer in 7 years that we purchased from BrandsMart. They also helped us with purchasing another warranty for the replacement washer. We will dispose of the old washer. Verna helped us at the register to pay for everything. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with honoring our warranty replacement and helping us work out all of the details. Thank you! read more

Letter to Brandsmart: On Sunday July 5th 2026, my fiancé and I decided to buy a TV after a lot of research on the brand and type of TV we wanted. We decided on the LG OLED G4. We shopped online for the best 4th of July sales. We found what we wanted for the best price ( $1,299 ) at Brandsmart. Since the store nearest our home (Sawgrass mall, FL) did not have it in stock, we drove over 30 minutes to the Dania Beach location since they had it in stock. We walked in and were greeted by a salesman who introduced himself as Tarik, a supervisor. He said he did not have the LG OLED G4 on display and had to check if it was in stock, but showed us the LG OLED G5 that was on sale for only $200 more. We knew this was an upgrade from the G4 so we decided to purchase it. He left then returned and said the box was ugly, I asked what does that mean. He said it's just the outside, I confirmed that the TV was brand new and he said yes and that they will test it in front of us. He added the 5 year warranty, the 90 day tech support and threw in a surge protector all for free. We didn't ask for it but thought that was good customer service for an ugly box. The total was $30 higher than expected, after going back and forth, I realized we were being taxed on the "free" surge protector so we declined that. I was charged $1,641.57 total as we had to buy a stand for the TV. He gave us the receipt and said to go outside around the side to pick it up. We noticed how they opened the brand new box with factory straps and tested the TV for the customers in front of us. It took them a while to come with our TV and the box was open and no factory straps. The warehouse employees even looked surprised. They lifted the box to reveal a TV that the plastic was partially removed from the screen and put back on. We said this is not a new TV. The warehouse employee agreed and didn't understand why we weren't getting the other one he saw back there that was new. We refused the TV saying that this is a returned item. Tarik came out saying that he didn't know it was an open box, returned item, and that's the only one they had. He tried to send us to the main warehouse which happens to be closed on Sunday to pick it up or to have it delivered. We explained that wasn't an option. The whole reason we drove this far was to take it home. Then he sent his supervisor Jorge, who tried his best to find a solution. He checked all stores but no one had it, at this point we were willing to drive to anther store although it wasn't right of Brandsmart to put us through that. He took us back into the store and after a lot of back and forth and looking at other TVs, we spoke to the general manager Owais Qureshi who didn't have much to offer in terms of compensation for what we've been through. We decided in the end to purchase a Sony Bravia OLED XR8B at the advertised price of $998 since they could not offer anything acceptable on an upgraded TV ( it had the wrong price on the sign, they said that they will honor it but charged us $999.88, so we didn't even get the advertised price). The compensation we got was the 5 year warranty but they could not refund the $15 for the 90 day tech support which we didn't even ask for or want, I don't understand why I was even charged since this was free to begin with. In my opinion, this was not enough for the time and inconvenience we went through. If Tarik was honest from the beginning, as he knew that he was selling us an open box item, that's why he was adding all the free items, we could've made a decision and saved ourselves over 3 hours and the hassle of the back and forth, charging the credit card then refunding the overpayment. In the end we're happy with the TV and appreciate Jorge's effort in trying to rectify our situation, but we're not very happy with how this was handled. We'll think twice before purchasing at Brandsmart in the future. read more

Unfortunately I'm not able to rate 1 star. I would if I could. The salespeople are only interested in their commissions and not the customer. I spent $429.99 plus $79.99 for Protectall protection plan which turned out to be a useless waste of money. My 9 month old television experienced a issue with the screen that I thought was covered through the the Protectall protection plan but was not because the salesperson never explained the actual coverage. Had I known I needed to purchase the upgrade screen protection I would have purchased it being the screen is very delicate and susceptible to damage.
