Thank you to Brandview Ballroom and Sevada in particular for making our wedding day a smashing success!! My wife and I instantly picked Brandview for our wedding (1/3/14) as soon as we saw it, both for how beautiful and elegant it was as well as how professional the sales staff was. We were nervous about planning a moderate sized wedding (250 people), especially since half of the guests were flying in from the East Coast. Now that the wedding is over, I can honestly tell you that there was no reason to worry with the Anoush team (especially Sevada and Greg!!) looking after us. To the person, every guest stated that this was the best wedding they have ever attended, Brandview was magical that night. From the decor, to the food, to the violists, and the bartenders, Brandview took care of everything! Some of the key highlights: 1. Fully stocked Bridal suite - Brandview provided us food and drinks while we were getting ready in our bridal suites and it was not just a cursory stop by, they were stopping by with the next item as if they were reading our minds. The time in the bridal suite let us get calm and ready for the big party to start! 2. Flexibility - Due to terrible weather on the east coast, we had a few guests who were not able to make it. Brandview worked with us to update table and reduce the guest count at the last minute. I doubt any other venue would have been as flexible, Brandview left money on the table this time but they know that they have made life long loyal customers! Brandview also allowed us to bring in catering to support a group of guests that had very strict dietary restrictions. They made no fuss about it, they served the food as if they had made it themselves with all the care and diligence to make it presentable. Brandview went above and beyond to make us satisfied customers and meet every desire we had. 3. Elegant decorations - Being in Brandview during an event is like being in a dream, the decor and lighting disconnect you from the day to day and let you really enjoy the day for what it is. There were moments that I thought I was in a dream, especially when the floor to ceiling drapes were pulled back and we had views of the Americana. 4. Location! We have amazing pictures inside of Brandview but we also have a million dollar view of the wedding party crossing the large crosswalk between Brandview and the Americana. Marilyn and Radney's 6/20/14 wedding review THE VENUE When my fiance (my now husband) and I were shopping around for a venue for our wedding, we just so happened to stumble upon the Brandview Ballroom. All of the banquet halls we had seen looked remotely the same until we stepped foot into the Brandview Ballroom. When I first walked in I instantly fell in love and knew this had to be the venue for our wedding. Not only is it beautiful, but it is soooooo unique and elegant. We had the pleasure of working with Sevada who was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. He made sure that everything was exactly what we wanted and was perfect on our wedding day. We didn't have a wedding coordinator to rely on which definitely was one of our biggest worries, but thanks to how awesome management and staff was at Brandview we really didn't need one! All of our friends and family didn't stop raving about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and how DELICIOUS the food was. Our food was served family style and there was not one person who left hungry. There was never a moment there wasn't food on the table (which I find to be extremely important) and it always tasted delicious and fresh. We got married here about a month ago. Overall, it was a great venue that has some challenges with overpromising. Pros: food is excellent, no one goes home hungry Staff is very flexible about customizing your menu Wait staff is attentive and very polite Location is beautiful and has easy valet parking for guests Coffee and tea service for whole night was great. However, do not believe the pictures they show you. That is not what it looks like! Valet service made parking for all guests easy. (We paid ahead of time for all the cars.) Cons: Many promises, few delivered. We paid extra for a bridal suite with food so we could have a moment after the ceremony to relax. Bridal suite was beautiful, only water served. We dropped off our slide show a week before the wedding to make sure it was working with no problems. The day of the event, the person in charge of video left the event and it did not work. Overall we had a beautiful event. Make sure everything you are promised is in your contract. read more

We saw multiple venues in LA before choosing Brandview Ballroom. The venue is centrally located in Glendale and is right across the street from the Americana mall. We originally thought that we could take pictures at the Americana Mall during cocktail hour after the Ceremony, but this turned out to be a no-go. Americana does not allow for pictures on their property at all! Security trolls the mall all the time and neither we nor our wedding planner could get a green light from them. (We ended up going to Verdugo park to take pictures, which is just a 10min drive and was perfect). As far as the venue: 1. Everyone was very professional, Sevada was our main point of contact and made himself available to us and our wedding planner at all time. If he was not there, Nico filled in just as well. 2. The food from Anoush was excellent. We had a choice of 22 appetizers from 28 appetizers, and 4 main courses from 6 (?) total options. 3. The security on the day of, Greg I believe, was excellent too. All of the staff was very professional and easy to work with. 4. We hosted the valet on our day of, not a requirement, but as far as parking, this is the way to go. I believe it was $6 per 2 people to host the valet, so there were no parking issues of any kind. 5. We paid for the venue + catering in 3 payments I believe, all was easy enough. 6. We liked that when we started the night the window curtains were closed, and later on they were open, showing all our guests an beautiful view of Americana and the street below. 7. We had our ceremony on their patio, which was great too because that meant that our guests didn't have to travel to another location for the Reception after the Ceremony. The patio is outside, so it's a very different feel from the inside ballroom, which was great again as it gave the feeling of being at two different venues, without having to travel between them. Which meant that more people showed up to our Ceremony, versus if they were at two different venues. Overall we are very happy of things turned out, and we definitely made the right choice with this venue. read more

My fiancé and I were in the area looking at other venues and we stumbled upon this one we were warmly greeted by Hovik and shown the venue. We immediately fell in love with everything they had to offer and set a meeting with Hovik and Kayla. When we met with Kayla, she also warmly greeted us and gave a very insightful and thorough breakdown on price. They then worked with us on negotiating the price to something we all felt comfortable paying for and we are extremely happy on choosing this venue for our special day. Mostly a good venue. The Valet parking in front was very convenient (especially if you're running late). The entrance was a bit underwhelming where you can see where the building is dated. But upon walking up the stairs to the ballroom, its beautifully decorated. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding where the ceremony was held on the outside terrace. The decor was amazing, but the seating space was way too tight and actually turned out that there was not enough space for all of the guests. The wedding party looked a little crammed but all in all it was a good ceremony. After the ceremony the party moved into the bar/reception area where we were greeted with champagne and a full bar. After about an hour we were able to enter the ballroom and be seated at our banquet tables. The full setup was nice and convenient from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner banquet. The food catered by a local Mediterranean restaurant was pretty good. I wasn't blown away with the venue, but it was a good time. read more

A good friend recently held his wedding reception here and it was absolutely gorgeous! You'd never know from the outside but the ballroom is spacious and accommodated somewhere around 300 people. The decor was stunning! All of the tables were set to perfection and there was swanky lounge seating as well. There's plenty of parking in the garage across the street for $5 and I believe they have the option of hosted valet if you so choose. She was amazing and helped with every detail in making my wedding day magical and it truly was!! The day of our wedding the staff, Greg, etc were all very hands on and made sure everything was set up, our guests served with whatever they needed and did an amazing job!! Our event was until 1am and we weren't rushed to get out of there but yet we took our time, gathered our belongings and even grabbed a bite to eat (it's true the bride and groom don't really get to eat on their wedding day until the very end) Brandview Ballroom was beautiful and our wedding was that much more wonderful because of the help and care of Sarine and the rest of the staff. I'm writing this review for Sevada, Vrej, and the amazing staff of the Brandview Ballroom. I fell in love with the Anoush style of wedding catering/venue when our close family friends had their weddings at the Le Foyer Ballroom. Both weddings were amazing! Service was awesome; you didn't even notice when the servers came to your table and when they left. But, that was looking at the already finished product. When we got engaged I knew I had to work with Anoush and when I found out that they had just picked up Brandview as one of the new locations... I HAD TO HAVE IT! And was I a happy bride that I did so. The ballroom is gorgeous!!! From the dramatic staircase leading up to the second floor, to the amazing cocktail hour we requested for and was hosted prior to having the guests going in to the Main Ballroom, to the delicious food that was served, to the amazing service you guys provide with your incredibly trained staff! The great thing about this place is you get a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to food, decor, dancefloor and lighting. I had no idea. I've been to at least 3 of their locations. And they all have a beautiful ambiance, delicious and fresh food, and great service. THIS particular location has the bathroom on the 3rd floor. That's ok, it's a good work out, or you can always take the elevator if your feeling lazy. Their other locations are on the same level. I've know Anoush Restaurants for over 25 years. And over the years they only got bigger and better. I give all their locations a 5 star. All of their locations are truly top quality restaurants. Recently we had our wedding reception here and had a fantastic and memorable time. I would have easily given this place a 5 star review, but due to some circumstances, which I will discuss later, I had to knock off a star. First off, this place is beautiful!!! You can't ask for a better location when it comes to having any event. It's right across from the Americana, what else can you ask for? We had a guest count of about 388 people and the staff here at Brandview did an exceptional job in hosting our event. Sarine was the event coordinator assigned to us, and my oh my, she was fantastic from the beginning of our interactions all the way to the end. She was very personable and helped us make decisions when it came to food choices and any additional services. She kept in mind our budget in relation to our vision. She was also very easy to communicate with and responded in a timely fashion. 5 stars and kudos to Sarine and thank you so much for your help!!! Greg, was our point person the day of our wedding reception and he too was very easy to work with and made sure we had a blast. The food, oh the food was GREAT! All our guests could not believe how much food there was and how good each dish was. We had Hors devours, appetizers, and 5 main dishes that were served. (NOTE: during your food tasting, be very particular and specific on how you want your food to be cooked. If you didn't like how a certain dish was made during the food tasting, let them know and they will make it to your liking). Now, to the bar and bar staff... These guys held it down! With a guest count as large as ours, and more than a third of our guests drinking, they were able to serve our guests and keep the party going all the way to the end of our event (1am). After our wedding, we got some feedback from our parents and guests, which takes a 1 star knock from this review. It was not noticed by myself nor my wife because of the fact that we were on cloud nine the whole day, but brought to our attention afterwards. Per our guests, during cocktail hour, some of our hors devours were served "colder than expected" and felt like they were not kept warm appropriately prior to being served. Also, with the amount of food we had, we specifically wanted a certain dish to be sent out second (Beef short ribs, which was a premium item) so our guests could taste the two best foods first before getting full. Unfortunately, this dish was sent out last and by the time it came out, most of our guests were already full and could not enjoy it as much as we wanted them too. I could not be any more thankful for the staff here! Words can't even begin to explain how thankful I am that I came across Sarine and the rest of the staff for my last minute event. It has been over 2 years since we had our wedding at Brandview 9/2/17. I did promise the crew I would write a review and I apologize for it being a little late, I figured - better late than never:). I will start off by saying the crew was exceptional from top to bottom, special thanks to Arthur and Hovik Supikyan, Serine Garabedian, and Sevada Markosyan for making us feel comfortable every step of the way and answering our questions in detail via email or by phone in a timely manner. We even had the pleasure of meeting with one of the owners who helped us negotiate and finalize the details. The Big Day - Everything went super smooth, special thanks to all the staff (chef, waiters, busboys, event manager, etc.) who handled the service exceptionally well even when faced with adversity (stubborn guests). Food Food Food & Drinks - Exceptional! Anoush Catering is known for its quality and yummy dishes, we had 347 guests who I'm sure had nothing bad to say about the food; Brandview Banquet Hall and Anoush Catering is the BEST table style food service/catering in LA, every dish is quality and well thought out, the salmon is off the chart, food arrives on the table warm which is something a lot of banquet halls have a hard time coordinating. Closing Thoughts - Exceptional Staff, Exceptional Service, Exceptional Food, Great Smoking Patio, COST is a little more per person then other banquet halls but worth every penny, the extra cost is evident in the quality of the food and service - the only other banquet I would compare it to in greater Los Angeles area is Taglyan. La Banquets are unethical when it comes to their business practices especially during covid. I had my wedding scheduled there and due to covid the venue was not open. I rescheduled 3 times with them and every time I was told if we're not open you will get your money back. So when my 3rd date was approaching the venue was still not open. My now husband and I decided we can't keep postponing our wedding due to venue and we decided to have a small wedding outdoors. The venue promised us a refund in installments and we agreed. However, a few months and we had not seen a refund the venue comes back and says we are not giving u the money back now you have 5 year credit. We don't plan on getting married again. They do this knowing couples are not going to use the venue. I would highly not recommend using them for anything. There are 10-20 better Armenian banquet halls in Glendale that are much nicer and more ethical than La Banquets. Run from this venue read more

We hosted the Goddess Empowered Red Carpet event at Brandview Ballroom on May 17th and happy we did. The white layout was perfect for the theme we were going for. Anoush did a fantastic job with my wedding! It was a big enough venue to hold all our guest, valet parking, great location, and great food! The service was really good about serving our guest and staying on top of things. We got to have a food tasting beforehand which was wonderful. Here were the only downsides: They want you to pay in cash only which I found really hard to do with such a big number. They did allow credit cards but the catch was you would be paying tax on it. They had also promised us that after the wedding they would not throw the food away but pack up the leftovers for us to take home. I don't know if there was a miscommunication with our family to the staff but it ended up getting tossed. Other than those few downsides I would recommend Anoush to those who love a beautiful feel. The service was great, food was great, and they were really easy to get a hold of and help you. They did signature drinks for the bar, were able to change the lighting of the room to the colors of our wedding, and worked with the vendors who came to set up in the ballroom. read more

We had our wedding here in January and could not have been happier with this venue. Sarine was especially helpful, walking us through the process and making sure we were happy with everything. She was so communicative and informative so I never felt that stress of wedding planning everyone kept warning me about. The food was spectacular and the set up was superb. I had my wedding here and let me just say it was the best decision we could have made! Our wedding was perfect. We worked with Sarine the whole time. She was outstanding her attitude was always so amazing and she made us feel good about any decisions made. She worked with us on planning the perfect wedding. They are family owned so they work with your budget and try their best to help you stay with it. The day of the wedding the service was perfect the staff was on point and very nice.
