A great spot to come in for a bite to eat and a beverage. If you're into pool or darts, they have plenty of tables. It's like walking into a family members home. All staff great you with a hello and offer assistance to get you food drink or game time. TV's show sports, news, movies, whatever you fancy. They have a full bar, I opted for a beer, as did my company. We munched on meatballs ( my favorite) and companion had a buffalo chicken wrap. Both were delicious. I wanted to like this place but was disappointed. This is my 2nd time here experience was pretty much the same both times. Says they are open till 1 am. At 1045 they shut the juke box off which I still have 5 dollar worth of credit on. At 11 they started shutting lights. The waitress was rude and inattentive. I finally walked up to the bar for a drink the waitress interrupted me when she finally looked up from her cell phone and said she'd bring our drinks right over then still took 10 minutes to come over. The place closed at 1130 and if I knew that instead of the posted 1am I would of gone someplace else. read more

Best pool hall that it's "off the beaten path" Branford Cue & Brew is located over by Wal-Mart. If you turn on to the road that takes you to Wal-Mart and keep driving straight up past Wally world in the back through the gate past the abandoned bowling alley into the unlit industrial park Cue and brew will be up on your left. Literally as you drive back there you'll think you are driving on the set of some slasher or thriller movie set but I can assure you it is quite safe. 15 years ago when the bowling ally was around that area was pretty hopping, there were waits to get on tables and the league's were packed. Since the closing of the alley and the fact that I believe the owner of the area wants to sell out the property probably to another Wal-Mart type corporation, the owner had done nothing to help support the people renting the properties from him, one of those being Cue and Brew. The road is practically falling apart with out holes, no lightning in the drive way, practically no up keep of the property. When you find Cue & Brew and walk in you'll be amazed at how clean friendly and courteous the staff is and how amazing the tables are. They redo the tables quite often as the owner of the business has a love for the game. Cue & Brew has to be my favorite place to go shoot. Atmosphere and clientele are fantastic. Tuesday is free pool night, I take my son to the hall to shoot pool as they allow minors in with a parent. Not to many pool halls left in this what seems to be dying industry do this. The food is typical bar type food but better than what most bars can put out and the drinks are very good and it is a full bar. This place is sure to knock your socks off if you like shooting pool. Also they have a bunch of dart boards for you darts enthusiasts. They offer league's there as well on most nights and have in house league's where APA is not going to take your money, the money goes back to the players. read more

Great spot for pool. It should be called a hidden gem, as its pretty tucked back in a little industrial park behind walmart. Its easier to find it during the day, not well lit at night. Just follow the signs though, and you'll be fine. Inside is really nice, very clean. 20 or so well kept tables and a wall or dart boards. The cues are in good shape, it's well lit, the taps are good, all pluses. You pay for the table (on the nights I have gone), not by the game or by the hour. Which is nice, as you're not rushed. You can enjoy your drinks and food and company. The staff is nice and attentive. Good sound system, and plenty of tvs with all the games on. The menu is better than you would expect at at a pool hall. Awesome nachos, and above average buffalo wings. I highly recommend giving it a shot. read more

Went to this local billiards with a friend once before and had a relatively good time. Attempted to go shoot some pool and have a few drinks at 10:30 P.M on a Friday night in March and they were closed. Never heard of a billiards being closed this early on a Friday night. Very disappointed because this place had potential. Besides the off-road driving you need to do in order to get to the location, it's not bad WHEN ITS OPEN! read more

Kicked out early...... again. In here a few times a week chasing my orb addiction. Waitresses are super, food is very good and tables are nice. I religiously order the same drink and food, hell, the ladies usually have it written before I order. They are open until 1, so I'm in no hurry thinking I can work on my game and exorcise some tension from a long work weekend. I get my fried chicken tenders because the kitchen is shut down at 730 (open until 1:00 mid you) and it's fried food only. I'm still cool with that. 830 rolls around and without notice it's announced...."last game". This is the second time I'm booted from this place without finishing drink or food. What a bizarre hard-to-find location, but what a find! This is large pool hall / bar that we were very pleased to find also had excellent food. I had the grilled chicken caesar salad and it was very good; the chicken was plentiful and moist. My wife had the chicken parmesan sandwich and we were pleased they didn't take shortcuts (no reheated frozen chicken patties or jarred sauce here! We were told the owner's mom makes the sauce daily). A bonus for me were two pinball machines; I LOVE pinball. Looking forward to returning. read more

Over priced pool and food. We got a chicken Caesar wrap with basically no chicken in it for $11.50.... wtf? Also, they definitely just nuke your fries because they are cold within 3 minutes. Luckily they have waitresses like Christina who are so nice to be around that you can't be too upset. But if you take your pool and food seriously then hit up TCB in north haven - you will get way more bang for your buck. read more

Here on 1-26-19 from 9pm on... I also hate to write a bad review but.. here it is. My group was having a great time until it came time to order food. They have pasta on the menu but didn't let me order it and as the manager stated "We won't boil all that pasta just for ONE order so order something else" which is unfortunate because I can't order anything else as I'm allergic to seafood and everything is either fried in the same fryer as the seafood , or has touched it in some way. I almost didn't find this place. It would have been a shame cause this is one of my top 10 pool halls I've ever been to. Nice layout of the tables and very roomie. Unfortunately so are the pockets. You're initially greeted by a nice hostess who will give you the pool table of your choice (if its not packed, which in my case it has never been). She keeps your license since you don't pay until the moment you leave. The place is spacious. The pool tables are nice, top notch. What I absolutely love about this place is unlike other places, you will never smack a wall with your pool stick because they are spaced out just right. There is a waitress that comes around and offers you drinks and if the kitchen is open food as well. The food is good. Good for a bar. Good service, good food and in all a good experience. read more

This is the best Billiards / Pool hall / Bar around for playing pool and hanging out. The food is surprisingly very good, I recommend the stuffed mushrooms and the boneless buffalo tenders! Its very comfortable as there are always tables and chairs not too far from the table you happen to be playing on, The tables are well lit, the Staff are always friendly and attentive and the in house pool tournaments Can be really cool too. The music plays at a pretty good level and even on busy nights you can always get a table. The drinks are like any other bar , and you can't beat Tuesday night free pool. It sure is off the beaten path, which is the only downside for attracting new customers. I personally hope this place never closes because there aren't places like this around anymore. Don't bother with the places you gotta bump into people or a wall while your shooting , When you can play in a nice relaxed place with cool people and good service.
