All drinks on table were refilled in timely manner throughout visit. We tried several menu items starting with raspberry bourbon chicken wings. Surprisingly spicy and delicious. Food dinner, fiesta bowl and a skirt steak special. Bowl was huge and decent. Steak prepared properly, good not great. Don't get five stars for three reasons, but two of these reasons actually sort of has a redemption. 1) it is cash-only, which is kind of inconvenient (redemption: they have an ATM with really low service fees). 2) you have to be affiliated with the University or go as a guest. My issue is that there's a cap on the number of people each University person can get in. (redemption: this is a good way to be selective about the patrons inside) 3) My coat got stolen a few trips ago - and it was in the middle of winter. Plus there were skaters with diet restrictions. I ate to be polite but did not enjoy the food. Loud, annoying live music that played boomer stuff so the crowds were older gen xers and drunk boomers. We were given the options to eat outside which was a better experience. The host was very friendly and trusted us well. Next time, I'll just socialize and then leave.
