Walked in for an oil change. Price was super fair & they got me in and out of there relatively quickly. Will definitely be getting my vehicle serviced here from now on!

I brought my Ford F150 to Joey Watkins Tire & Automotive after the truck stalled and had to be…read moretowed on 05/31/26 from the Target parking lot in Flowery Branch. Prior to stalling, the truck had been jerking, sputtering during acceleration, and losing power while driving. After evaluating the truck, I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $509.19. I was then told the truck was fixed. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, the exact same issue happened again. The truck began sputtering and completely died near Friendship Road and I985, creating a dangerous situation in traffic and resulting in another emergency tow that cost me an additional $300. I returned the truck and explained that the issue was still occurring. However, because the truck happened to start for them during testing, I was told they could not replicate the problem and did not know what was wrong. I specifically asked about fuel system concerns because the symptoms felt fuel related, but no diagnosis was made beyond the spark plugs. At that point, I no longer trusted the truck to be safe to drive and took it directly across the street to Christian Brothers Automotive Buford for a second opinion. Shortly after arriving there, the truck stalled again while they were attempting to move it into the service bay. Because the failure occurred while connected to diagnostics, they were able to pull active fault codes indicating issues with the fuel pump and fuel pump control module. I ultimately authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs for the actual problem. In retrospect, the spark plug replacement appears to have been more of a guess at the problem than an actual diagnosis, especially considering the symptoms remained exactly the same immediately afterward and the real issue turned out to be fuel system related. To be fair, intermittent mechanical issues can be difficult to diagnose, and the staff was polite throughout the process. However, I am disappointed that I spent over $500 on repairs that did not address the issue at all, followed by another breakdown and tow immediately after being told the vehicle was fixed. Given the safety risk involved with a vehicle stalling in traffic, I expected a more thorough diagnostic process before being told the truck was repaired.

I drove up from Florida on Saturday and was helping a family member move. I ran over a huge screw and went to the closest tire store which was a Mavis. They looked at my tire and said it couldn't be fixed that o would have to replace it. But they didn't have my tire size so they called the closest Mavis to where I was staying and said I'd be fine driving there. I got a mile from the where the Mavis was when my tire blew! I called a tow truck and he dropped me off at Mavis. The lady there said that the other store got the tire size wrong and they didn't have the correct one. She wrote on a piece of paper the size I needed and I walked to Goodyear, just around the corner, and inquired about a tire. Eldin went out to my car, saw that the tire number she wrote on the piece of paper was wrong and said he could have one by the morning. I showed him a picture of the screw in my tire and he told me that it couldn't have been fixed!!!!!!! Long story short, he could see my frustration, pulled a few strings and got me a tire before the store closed. He wasn't there when I went back so I hope he reads this review. Thank you Eldin and whoever brought the tire!!! I'm extremely grateful for all your help and compassion! You made my day better!
