We went for two nights before Memorial Day weekend, which just so happened to be one of the biggest nor'easters to hit the cape in a long time. The first night we stayed in a queen room that was over the Shipwreck lounge. The noise from the lounge was a little annoying and we asked for another room. The staff was VERY accommodating and moved us to a beautiful king room on the pool. It was handled very promptly and professionally, which we really appreciated. The rooms here are immaculate and very nice. Beds are comfortable with great pillows. The nightly wine and cheese is a welcome bonus to your stay and free breakfast was a great start to your day in Ptown. Every member of the staff was friendly and made our stay better. With all of the rain and wind from the storm, it was challenging to shop and explore, but there seemed to be an unlimited supply of umbrellas for guests to use. The Brass Key is one of the finest accommodations in Provincetown, and will be our go to from this point forward. I booked directly through their website, which had the best rates using their New England resident rate. Oh and there is also use of free bicycles and free parking...

Super comfy king sized bed, complimentary hot breakfasts and wine/cheese happy hours daily. Pool and hot tub were perfect after daily sight seeing. Cash bar open evenings daily. Conveniently located to all local attractions, bars, and restaurants. Attentive, friendly staff. Old New England homes converted to inn can lead to some noise between rooms, keeping my review from 5 stars. But I would come back.

What an amazing place! We stayed here only one night and wish it had been longer. The staff is welcoming, attentive and happy to assist guests. The room was really charming, and the bathroom was modern and fully updated. The pool is rather small, but it didn't look overly crowded. Wine and cheese is served at 5 and it was gone way before 6, but we managed to grab a nice glass of wine and enjoy the lovely outdoor space. We didn't care much for the breakfast options and went somewhere else, but it was ok. Parking is limited though, so when we grabbed a spot we didn't move the car and walked everywhere- which worked great in Ptown anyway!

I highly recommend the Brass Key in Provincetown. I booked a long holiday for Memorial Day weekend (checking in Friday and out Tuesday). My room was next to the pool so I had lots of sun and a nice view of the deck. The Brass Key offers a full breakfast which is a great way to start your day in Ptown. The staff - Tyler, Patrick, and everyone else is very responsive and accommodating. There is also a small bar attached to the Brass Key called the Shipwreck Lounge with a low key vibe and cute bartenders. On top of everything else the pool and hot tub are a great way to relax, and there are many small areas around the hotel deck with comfy outdoor chairs to relax for a nap or to read a book. I will definitely be back for another stay!

Beautiful day at the Brass Key!

The Brass Key was a truly wonderful place to stay in PTown. You made this trip such an enjoyable memory! I would have a hard time staying anywhere else. It really feels more like a bed and breakfast. They strive to make all your requests perfect upon arrival. Rick greeted us, promptly showed us the beautiful hotel grounds, and our room. He was a wonderful host. The rooms are quiet, gorgeous, bright, and impeccably clean. The grounds are absolutely lovely! The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. We spent a lot of time here and made a ton of new friends. Oh, don't forget to head up to the observation deck for a beautiful view of PTown. Steve the bartender at the pool is a doll! He pours a fantastic drink and a great person to get to know! Frank is a great guy too! They are always quick to refill your drink and bring out samples! They have a simple continental breakfast which is fresh and convenient especially after a long night! Love the wine and cheese happy hour it's a nice touch! Every night the bar, outdoor seating, and fireplace are full. It just has a welcoming vibe! I love the Brass Key and would recommend it to anyone! See you next time and thank you for such a great trip!

Love coming to this wonderful establishment each year. We look forward to it more and more. They have the most warm and welcoming staff, who we have become very close too after seeing them each year. I wish I could name them all but I would have to list the entire population. The Brass Key has amazing amenities, delicious ever-changing breakfast options, incredible wine, cheese and cracker happy hour, immaculately clean pool, everything is high-end. Meeting our vacation family here each year is one of the best parts, people come back year after year and that says everything about this paradise. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Brass Key! Xoxo

When I got to my room, it reminded me of an older style roadside motel motor lodge where you park and then walk to your room. But the parking lot is down a level so you have to walk up several steps to reach the rooms. The motor lodge building is one of several though. There are other buildings behind and to the side that surround a quad that has trees, gardens and chairs. My room was large and a little spare, but there was a curtain hanging off its rod so it looked a little sad. But the next morning I woke up and opened the blinds and saw how gorgeous the grounds were and suddenly looked much better (but I hope they fixed the curtain hanging off its rod.) There was complimentary breakfast in the lobby. As I walked down, I admired the landscaping, lots of flowering bushes and shrubs. The Inn is set high on a hill and so it is quite private. I also took a walk and the Inn is very close to the ocean. You can walk one way and walk into town, or go the other way and you are walking along sand dunes and the ocean. Being in our mid sixties we could handle it, except when my date wore her high heels to the rehearsal dinner and actual wedding ceremony. Ended up getting the pedi-cabs for those events. We lived. The actual room was ok, kind of like a renovated motel. The room had a funky mildewy smell that was so bad we had to open the front and bathroom windows in addition to running the ac. Bathroom was definitely clean but older looking. I think my parents had those same floor tiles in their bathroom in 1965. The pool was nice and the breakfast was ok. Yogurt, fruit cups, muffins and different flavors of quiches. People were all very welcoming.

Everyone was very accommodating... they literally would 'always' ask if we needed anything or if our room needed 'freshening'... and when we asked if they had beach chairs/umbrella's/towels, they brought them out 'tout de suite'. (and pretty new equipment too!) We were lucky to have the P1 penthouse/suite on top of the Benchmark side of the hotel. It's a nice size suite, very neat and clean and afforded us a great view overlooking P-Town and the bay. I liked the bed, although my wife thought it was a little too soft. There are no elevators, but the 'climb' did help out 'step' count for the day. Breakfast was included, which was very very good. A nice variety (sausage/bacon/eggs or granola/pastries, even bread/cheese European style) to accommodate most any appetite. There is limited parking between the two buildings, enough for about 8-10 cars. Again, Gregg/Steve/Shane and co. really treated us very well.
