I stopped in to Bin23 after seeing that they were newly opened close to my house. I was looking for a place to have a quiet lunch meeting with good food. First, the decor is awesome. I took pics of the tile in the hallway because I thought it needed to be seen by the masses. There's a big menu: shareables, pizzas, salads, pastas and wines, lots of wines. They also offer coffee options that I didn't see on the menu. Our server must have seen the need for coffee on my face because she made sure to mention both the cappuccino and mimosa options. I went with the creme brulee cappuccino and it did not disappoint. Insert some super descriptive part about the drink here, I am kind of at a loss for words though. It was just really good. I went with the mushroom and truffle pizza. Also really good and a great suggestion by our server. I made it through about half of it and was sad that I was full. Our server also mentioned that they are opening a tasting room later this year. It sounds like the perfect place for a girls' night out so keep an eye out! read more

I can say that the interior is super bright and open. The tables are spaced a little close for me but the seating is comfortable. We had a business meeting here for lunch. Started with humus and pita bread. The humus was super fresh with nice minced chick peas scattered through out the creamy mix. The fresh parsley and tahinis oil on top makes this a great appetizer. I ordered the fork burger it was great. The burger was super moist and juicy. I would recommend this to anyone. What a great place. read more

We were excited to try a new place but Bin 23 fell short. We were brought a warm bottle of white wine that they then put in a wine chiller... would've expected the wine to be chilled before coming to the table. Chairs were very uncomfortable. Food was good for the price point but our deviled egg appetizer didn't seem very fresh. If we were to go again I'd probably go with a Pizza and red wine... not sure if we'll go back though... read more

If the pizza wasn't amazing, I would never go back. Walked in at 5:15p on a Saturday (3/12/22) with at lease 2/3 of the restaurant empty. Was told we had to sit at the bar because there wasn't a table available because of reservations. (By hostess and manager) By the time we left (~6:30) there were still empty tables (probably 1/3 to 1/2 open). It's disheartening knowing there were empty tables yet there wasn't an option for 'walk-ins' to be seated at those spots. read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. We sat at the bar - Abby and Justice were amazing. I don't know the general managers name even though he spent most of his time behind the bar chastising his employees that were doing a good job. He never once even acknowledged us. I got surprised by a date night tonight and was taken to this wondrous place for the first time and it will definitely become one of our date spots! We had the amazing Chandler for a server and he was on top of it and always was super helpful and had great wine recommendations for my boyfriend- he also pointed me in the right direction to a delicious, sweet French rose that I will definitely bring a bottle home or sometime! We started with a 6oz glass of wine each (he had red, I had white, I can't remember the name of mine-it was a white Italian- but it was citrusy and refreshing). We then moved on to the deviled egg-fried scallop appetizer and at first I was skeptical but now I think that will definitely be my go to appetizer! I then moved on to the sweet, summertime French Rose and Chandler helped my boyfriend pick his next wine, even providing a sample of one before he settled on a dry red. I then had the Bin 23 pizza and oh my gosh it was so good I finished the entire thing! The crunchy prosciutto, the sweet red onions, the amazing, irresistible smells were devine. Seth was the same way and finished his steaming, warm meatball pizza with their hand made meatballs. If you have not gone here, please, do yourself a favor and get there as fast as you can! Attempted to eat here on Valentine's Day. Called ahead to see what the wait time was knowing it was valentines and we decided to go out last minute. Was told by Bryce there was absolutely no wait at all for 2. 15 minutes later I get to the restaurant only to be asked if I had a reservation, something that was never mentioned or offered over the phone. We were then told everything was full and the wait would be past when they closed. How does 15 minutes change there being no wait to not be able to get seated unless something at the bar happened to become available. On top of that the person meeting me was driving 45 minutes out of the way only to have to turn around and go back. read more

Let me start off by saying that I always try to find positive things in my experience but my last two times and only two times that I have been at Bin 23 were very disappointing. The food is excellent UNLESS you are dealing with a food allergy or sensitivity. On my last visit, a friend that I was with has a nut allergy. She ordered a dish and asked for no walnuts and the dish was brought out with walnuts. We showed the waitress who questioned if those were walnuts and we assured her they were. She went to the kitchen to have they make a new flatbread. About ten minutes later, she came out and placed the new flatbread in front of my friend and said "here's your new flatbread with no walnuts!" and it had walnuts on it again! The third time, unfortunately was not the charm as the last flatbread was burnt. The restaurant could have remedied it but instead, they lacked integrity and accountability in the way they talked to our party. Let me be fair, the wine is wonderful and the food has been consistently good, if, you don't need any accommodations made. Restaurants are allowed to mess up, of course, but how they react to issues and where they hold their service standards trumps anything else. read more

Bin 23 has been a great, much needed addition to the area. I've been there 5-10 times for various lunches, dinners or brunches and each time have been met with great service, an upscale/trendy atmosphere, unique menu and good food. Also, love the outdoor seating! This is hands down our favorite weekend brunch stop. We really miss Chicago brunches and the experience at Bin 23 has emulated that - really good food, bottomless mimosas, fun atmosphere, etc. read more

We had an awful waiter who only came to us when ABSOLUTELY necessary. What should have been a fun hour and a half brunch turned into a three hour waiting game with the staff. Never had water, everything took forever, and when it finally came he mixed it all up. We sat for at least an hour after we finished eating before we tracked down a hostess and asked for checks. The decor is very very nice. It is very comforting and inviting. We couldn't get a table because of reservations so we sat at high top chairs which was fine. Kinda odd that the table seats were still empty when we left. Tap wine=inexpensive and okay Bottled wine by the glass 11.00 and up Wine only; no craft beer The spare rib appetizer was generous. Nice deli glaze but the meat lacked any seasoning. The fork and table burger, again lacking any seasoning. The homemade chips that came with were good. Our other entree was the roast chicken. Very well cooked and very well seasoned. I'd order that again. The menu is impressive and I hope the seasoning improves. we always give new places a few visits to base a long term impression, so we will be back. Service was prompt and friendly. Easily the least interesting restaurant I've ever been to. The hummus was only okay, and the mezze platter tasted suspiciously like the marinated vegetables you can get at Martin's deli. We had the truffle pizza, which was flavorless. My partner said his sandwich was good but small. Overall, this place misses the mark. The interior looks very nice and straight off of HGTV, but feels and tastes inauthentic. It's pretentious without any substance. However, the service was generally good. Such a unique find in Granger, IN. Definitely the largest wine selection in South Bend and they give you the option to pick out any wine bottle you want from their market to open and enjoy at your table. Food is fresh and delicious, and you can watch your pizza and other items cook in the rotating brick pizza oven. I definitely recommend for a date night or girls night! read more

Third visit. This should be a great restaurant. Location is handy and the decor is good. Menu is also appealing. However, the flavor combinations are off. Too much garlic, especially in the hummus. Tart apples in the salad, with a tart dressing. Pizza is good, but not great for a wood fired oven. Spaghetti was the best entre we have had. Dessert is great. First time here. Restaurant was beautiful. Food was tremendous. Got 2 apps, the baked gulf oysters and crispy fried short ribs. Then we got a brick oven pizza, the Bin. All were delicious. Visited on NYE. Friendly waitstaff & more spacious than I anticipated. Started with the baked mozzarella appetizer (Marra Trio) which was just okay. Then had a delicious pizza - the Bin 23. Had a nice chewy crust topped with prosciutto, Italian sausage, & pepperoni. Also enjoyed a flight of wine. They have a nice selection of wines to choose from & the pours are generous. started off bad- when we arrived it took 6-8 minutes or so before someone acknowledged us at the host stand (despite multiple employees walking past us and tons of open tables), when they finally did seat us we ordered an appetizer, the chicken pesto panini and a pizza. The appetizer took around 45 minutes to come and the rest of the food took an hour and 5 minutes to come. The appetizer was pretty small for the $14 price tag, but price aside, the food was insanely salty and the sandwich came pretty burned. The pizza was good, but also very very salty. I had to write a review since our private party we had at Bin 23 was such a success! I worked with Jason to organize a special dinner for 18 people celebrating our daughter's graduation from ND. It couldn't have been any better. The wine cellar room was beautiful and cozy. The server Alex was so accomodating and Jason was available for anything needed during the evening. We ordered an assortment of pizzas and salads and everyone loved the food choices.
