Stopped in this weekend after one hell of a night and definitely needed some hearty hangover food. Bin 23 delivered! I ordered the chorizo biscuits and gravy and it was amazing. The over easy eggs were prepared by a master and poured out perfectly over my slightly spicy gravy. Let's not forget about the $12 bottomless mimosas! They glass was never empty and they definitely cured what ailed! When I am back in the bend I'll be sure to hit the bin! read more

I love French food and good wine so Bin 23 plays music to my heart. I've been twice and the food has been great both times. The ambiance is nice, quiet, dim but not overly romantic. It's a nice classy restaurant. The service is all polite but I've made reservations both times I have been and got put at a table right at the front door both times. Both times the restaurant was empty as well so why not give us a table off to the side or in the middle of the room? No one wants that table out in the middle of the entrance area. The second problem I had was during my last visit. It was just me and my daughter and we got the table for 4 at the front door, fine. I was the only person wearing a blazer in the restaurant so if anything we were very overdressed. The real problem was we ordered our food and nothing came. I saw others come after us, get all their food and go before we got anything. Also my daughter's sprite was just sparkling water. It became difficult to get the attention of anyone working at the restaurant too. We had been there over an hour before our main course came. I was about to get really upset as we came because my daughter was hungry and I took her out to feast not wait around. I'm not sure what the problems were but I do hope they can smooth out their operation because I'd like to frequent the establishment, however service and professionalism are important and they need a little fine tuning. Leaving people ignored is rude and leaving a table with a child ignored is bad service, No other way to put it. Hopefully it was just a fluke of a night and the problems were seen and addressed. I haven't been to Bin23 since last year's spring/summer. I heard from my friend who is a patron in there that they recently changed their menu and it seems like it. I was in love with their ahi tuna salad and lamb chops which were both my faves. Now I don't see it in the new menu which saddens me I do hope they put my faves back on their menu. read more

Absolutely horrible service and food. We waited 2 hours to be told 33% of our meals had sold out and we needed to pick replacements. Food was marginal at best and not really very French. McDonald's has better "frites". We almost ordered Taco Bell to eat at the table at the restaurant. My son offered to help cook the food and he is an architect. Terrible! read more

Would not recommend. We were there to celebrate a special occasion. Based on reviews and recommendations my husband chose the duck. However, the duck skin was not crispy, barely seared, it was difficult to cut. He said the duck was very rubbery and chewy. Atmosphere, appetizers and cocktails were good. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. Chocolate truffles were delicious but the cappuccino was cold. This was our first visit and probably our last. Given the price it is not worth risking another bad meal. read more

We came here for a Saturday morning brunch after running a half marathon and Bin 23 really delivered. Bottomless mimosas were a need after all those miles. Delicious restaurant! Service was great, she recommended the Herb and Chile Whipped Feta which was a great starter and I had the Fried Oyster Truffled Eggs which was delicious! My date had the Steak Frites that was made to perfection with the "special sauce" and I had the Truffled Veal Ravioli! It's a great place for a date or romantic night out as the inside has the feel of an intimate wine bar. A nice restaurant with a solid menu. The wine and cocktail selection is solid with some unique offerings. I had the cheese plate appetizer, caesar salad, steak frites, and asparagus. The cheese plate had a generous cheese selection, nuts, dried fruits, and flatbread. The Caesar salad was served with a perfectly poached egg and was delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and flavorful, though served with far too many fries. However, the waitstaff needs some training. Telling me I need to keep my salad fork for my main course, and informing our table of her lactose intolerance and the unfortunate aftermath she endures was TMI. This was not our first time being disappointed here, but we decided to give it another shot. When we arrived for our reservation, the restaurant was mostly empty other than 3 or 4 tables. The hostess sat us at a table in the center of the room. We asked her if it would be possible to switch to one of the several available side tables to which she replied "all of my tables are reserved" the tables that we were asking about were the same size as the table we were sat at. She said she'd ask and let us know. She walked to the back and came back out and we asked if she had asked and she ignored us to go greet a friend at the front where she proceeded to have a casual conversation. We then saw another waitress and she politely let us know it was no problem for us to move. *the entire time we were there, side tables remained open and available* We ordered the bottomless orange juice (I refuse to call these mimosas, as they were literally a pitcher of orange juice with 1/4 of the pitcher being champagne) . We would have much rather them not offer bottomless mimosas and paid for a bottle of champagne. We decided to share the breakfast pizza as an appetizer, which turned out to be the only edible item that we received from this establishment. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating and patient when we couldn't decide on what to order for our entrees. We made sure to tip her 25% on the pre discounted bill because the disastrous food and management was quite obviously way beyond her control. We ordered, and our food came out and everything was completely burnt and/or overcooked. We let our server know and she sent for her manager. The manager was very short with us and made it clear that she did not care, but offered to take our food off of the bill. I have included photos of our food. We ended up going to bar Louie where bartenders Jane and Kaley gave us a better experience in 5 minutes than we had during the 2 hours of wasted life at bin 23. read more

One of the best restaurants in the area!! They recently changed the ownership and rebranded, completely remodeled, reopened after July 4th 2024. This is why you found they're only 4-star here in Yelp because of previous ratings from Bin 23. But the new Brasserie 23 should definitely 5-star plus!! We went Friday 7/19 for dinner. Food was amazzing, service was fantastic as well. The whole new decor of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Because of the new grand opening they extend the happy hour till 7pm on Friday so all of our drinks got 20% off. They have the brand new menu and everything is delicious We're extremely satisfied so we went back again next morning for the brunch. Again it's fantastic!! If you are in the area and looking for a surprisingly good restaurant for your family. You have to check out this one! Service was great, ambiance is quiet, intimate, and modern... food was surprisingly not stellar. Maybe it's because we showed up on a Monday afternoon but WOW were ALL of our dishes salty! Pinwheels were delicious, but very salty. Okay, maybe understandable for an Apero as it can get guests to order more drinks... but then both our entrees were SO salty we stopped eating halfway through. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my first experience (and probably my last experience) left much to be desired. Let me start by saying, the place has potential. The menu is great with perfect options for sharing. We had a group of seven stop in on a Wednesday evening, ordering several bottles of wine and multiple dishes to share. A member of party has a nut allergy so she specifically requested no walnuts on the Brie & Bourbon flatbread (mentioning her allergy). When the food arrived, the flatbread was covered in chopped walnuts. We immediately called attention to it and our waitress questioned as to whether or not there were walnuts - trust me, they were very generous with the nuts! She said she would bring another one without the nuts. She reappears with the second flatbread and once again, it was loaded with nuts! There was no apology and she was obviously frustrated (as was the chef glaring at our table from the kitchen). We brought it to the attention of the manager and he seemed oblivious to the fact they had now twice served walnuts to someone with a nut allergy. After multiple conversations, a third flatbread arrived that was so burnt it was not edible. There were additional conversations with the manager who did remove the item and bottle of wine from the bill. He offered a gift card to the individual with the nut allergy, but it was declined. We were finished with just about everything else and realized that the charcuterie board we ordered never arrived. We asked the waitress about it and she brought it out a few minutes later. Again, this place has potential and the food was great, but the total disregard for a food allergy and lack of customer service (including wait staff not being familiar with menu items - both food and wine) really ruined the evening for the group. I don't think any of us in the part plan to be back - too many other great options that provide a much better experience. I come here monthly for brunch, bringing with me a family member or friend. Each time is better than the previous experience. I love the new French bistro style menu as it more resonates with my personality and the subtle branding apparent within Bin23 from the beginning. The greeter was pleasant, the waiter was down to earth, knowledgeable, and professional simultaneously. He made amazing recommendations, asked question and provided stellar experience without even having to be asked. This most recent visit was to celebrate my best friends birthday and she was extremely wowed by the experience as well it being her first visit to Bin23. If every moment in Bin23 is this magical, I will be happy to return even more often than monthly. It's so worth stopping in! Such a great space, quiet and calm for our 11:15 brunch reservation. The chocolate and raspberry latte was a fantastic start. Birthday celebration that was beautifully presented at a leisurely pace. Our server (beautiful young lady who seemed to truly enjoy working here) who answered our questions with a smile. So many things to select from made our final selection difficult. We settled on the Quiche Lorraine (best I have ever had, curst was to die for) and Chicken and Leek Puff Pastry. We enjoyed every lushes bite, Ended with a birthday gelato and another latte. The food tasted terrible. Mussels were lukewarm in a watery tasteless broth and we had to ask for salt and pepper so we could season it and make it palatable. The chicken leak pastry was awful. Stale and dry clumps of dark chicken meat mixed with overcooked and tasteless leek and mushroom pieces, well over salted. I couldn't really eat it. Mashed potatoes were ok and 5 pieces of overcooked and dried out green beans rounded out the plate. They didn't have 2 items on the menu I was interested in and then I was informed that they didn't have the profiteroles dessert when I wanted to order it. The blood orange pie was likewise awful tasting and did not look appetizing. We were rushed through dinner having 7:30pm reservation only to be told they close at 8pm when we were seated. It was supposed to be a celebration dinner which was never acknowledged, and turned out to be the worst meal I've had in a supposedly "upscale" and quite expensive restaurant. Visited for the first time on Wednesday and it was fantastic! Just moved from Chicago and the food, drinks and vibe were up there with any great restaurant there, which was a great surprise. We sat outside on the beautiful patio. The wine list is great - highly recommend the Quilt cab. A whipped feta app was absolutely delicious and the seafood stew and short rib dishes were also really tasty. We saw lots of delicious looking pizzas being delivered to other tables so we'll definitely be back to give those a try! read more

If you're a fan of Uptown Kitchen, but hate waiting in the brunch line every weekend, you need to go across the street to Bin 23 ASAP. The atmosphere is a 10/10 -- beautifully done interior with an awesome wine marketplace and private dining on one side. The weekend mimosa special is $12 BOTTOMLESS mimosas -- yes, BOTTOMLESS for $12! We also saw several things on the brunch menu that looked yummy, but decided to go for more lunch-y picks. I got the grilled cheese and my husband got the pesto chicken sandwich. Honestly, it's the best grilled cheese I've had in a LONG time. Came here for lunch with my parents over the weekend. We were hoping for the brunch menu, but just missed it. We ordered the Brie appetizer which barely had cheese and was mostly fig spread and grapes. My parents split an entree salad, which the waiter was kind enough to plate on two separate plates and the margarita flatbread which was cold, as the cheese was already hard and not stringy, but the truffle mushroom flatbread with arugula was amazing very tasty! It's solid but nothing blows you away enough to get it to 4 or 5 stars. If you are a wine enthusiast, this place will rank higher. It's perfect for a girls night out haha. I enjoyed the wine flight, they give you legit large wine glasses and you pour from a flight of little carafe's. The menu is limited for beer, cocktails and food. Not a lot of options in terms of sides. However excellent Brie and flatbreads. Pretty good burgers. So there you have it. If you love wine and flatbreads then this place is a 4+. However overall for most people it comes in at a solid 3+. read more
