    Brassi's margherita pizza
    Kim R.

Impressive first visit! Passing through and in search of a good food truck...I'm so glad we decided upon Brassi's. Although it wasn't the easiest to find, tucked away in a location we didn't expect, they've got plenty of parking, seating (in & outside), and a beer garden. The food was fabulous. The presentation, textures, and flavors provided the feel of a more upscale dining experience. We had the 1/2 Caesar salad...which was unique, fresh, and large for a 1/2. The margherita pizza was cooked perfectly, and the steak bites plate was very flavorful & colorful. More of a dining experience at this truck. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through town, wish we were closer!

Oh wow! This wood-fired oasis must be the best kept secret in McMinnville. The ribs and pizza were outstanding, and we are total ribs and pizza SNOBS! The menu is seasonal, but they are SO good I betcha they can't make bad food no matter what season it is. The quiet, cozy courtyard is connected to the Heater Allen Taproom, which has the best brews on tap in McMinnville.

Excellent food. Prepared healthfully. A good variety of choices even though the menu is based on the season.

We were warmly greeted when we arrived. The menu is a little confusing for vegetarians, but we figured it out. Basically you can pick whatever is on the menu and choose what protein you want on it. We really wanted falafel however it's no longer available. They use a pea protein instead. Minus a star here as I think the pea protein while tasty, really changes the dishes we had. I had a shawarma wrap, SCW a gyro and we also got an order of hummus which came with pita. The food itself was good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes stood out for me as better than usual. The pea protein was tasty but added a different flavor profile than I was really looking for. When you want falafel it just doesn't taste the same. The hummus was good as was the pita bread. The service was great. I enjoyed the meal but I would not seek it out again simply because of the pea protein option. Of course it's great they offer a meat substitute but it wasn't something I would seek out for Mediterranean food.

She puts her love into her cooking and community. I hope people treat her with the kindness and respect she absolutely deserves. Best tamarind chicken ever! I can not recommend it more! Her food is fresh and is always large portions. If she knows you are sharing she always sneaks in extra. She might not always smile but forgive that and experience some great Thai home cooking. Kates truck is clean. It's a super cute color. She has a great little coveted seating area. In order to get the fastest service try calling. Often times she will recognize the number and remembers what and how you like it. Thank you Kate.

She keeps her prices reasonable because she wants her food to be accessible, and whatever she makes in tips just goes back into the business. Ordered the pad kee mao and garlic shrimp. We were delighted that the food actually came out spicy as requested, as so many restaurants tend to hold back. She def does not skimp on the portion sizes or protein. Her food is pretty good - is it the best Thai food I've had? Prob not. But it's far from being bad and for McMinnville, it's a gem that I was not expecting and I will certainly come back again next time I'm in the area.

The food is fresh and bursting with flavor, from the arugula salad to the burrata and focaccia and the Neapolitan style pizza, everything was so very good. And yes, even after having all of that we still made room for dessert. The huckleberry olive oil cake was amazing, so incredibly tasty with the tart berries and the hint of orange. It was simply divine. I love cannolis, but unfortunately the matcha & white chocolate didn't quite do it for me, at least it was beautiful. It's okay though everything else was incredible and I would absolutely return.

We stopped in on a Friday night on our return from the coast. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed (too close for comfort, but we wanted to try), so I asked the host if they could still seat us. And while they weren't enthusiastic (I know I wouldn't be), we got a table and were promptly and warmly welcomed by our server. Even with only half an hour to close, we didn't feel rushed, and they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions. My lobster and I split a small arugula salad (which was indeed plenty!). It was simply dressed and packed full of flavor. I don't know why my basic salads at home don't taste this good. He got the sausage calzone, and I ordered the mushroom pizza. Both of our mains were delish. The sausage in the calzone was fennel forward, which we love. The fried sage atop my mushroom pizza was a delightful addition, and I'm not even a big fan of sage. Hey, people grow and change! The space itself is cozy and inviting. We look forward to returning for an earlier dinner so we can try the cocktails and dessert.

The OLIVES were just OK, I think they were done well, but my preference is more to raw and not cooked olives. 2.5 stars.
