The bun for the kids cheeseburger was so soft and fresh, and the burger itself was delicious and perfectly cooked/well seasoned. The tots of course are yummy and great with ketchup or ranch; nice and crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. The Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese sauce was awesome.. nice and soft, the cheese was delicious. I enjoyed it so much I'm ordering it for DoorDash again; about once a week I ordered DoorDash because I don't feel like cooking - this is becoming my new fave.

They have a great selection of beers on top, and aren't stingy with letting you taste before you commit. They're also great at giving you suggestions if you describe the kinds of beers that you like. For example, I don't like extremely happy beers and they have suggested several that really hit the spot for me. My latest good surprise was their "Red, White, and Blueberry Cream Ale" - from the name, I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it because I don't like fruity beers, generally. However, they suggested I give it a taste. After a sample I decided to go for a pint. Not too fruity at all. I ended up going home with a growler of the stuff. The atmosphere is nice and open, and on good weather days they open up the front to give you that true open air experience. I've been here with friends, to watch World Cup games, and with family. It's always a comfortable vibe and very enjoyable. They also have a nice menu with a lot of variety. For example I've had their burgers, tacos, various sandwiches, and other things I can't think of right now. I haven't been disappointed. I was also excited to see they have my favorite guilty pleasure: White Claws. This alone made me a happy gal! And to top it off, they have a small arcade area! What a blast from the past! The patty was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The American cheese was melted and gooey, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp on top of a toasted bun. For a simple burger, it was incredibly well-thought-out; I'm a burger connoisseur and not easy to impress, but this one definitely gets my seal of approval! The charcuterie board only had 2 cheeses (when it should have had 3) and was pitiful and bare looking. It didn't have olives either (the menu indicated it did). We told the waiter and that was it, nobody from the food truck stopped to say anything or offer anything in addition. He said he told the chef and the chef updated the web site. WTF? That's the remedy? Just change the menu... great job, Wooden Heart. Even if you only had 2 cheeses due to supply shortages, bring more of another one to us. Something! At least walk over to our table and say something. I know it's not Furioso's fault, but one of the reasons I wanted to go to Furioso was the delicious looking food as well as the views. Furioso delivered on the views, but for service and food quality, both Furioso and Wooden Heart failed miserably.
