Unfriendly:( We came in to grab something to go, I realize it was 10 minutes prior to closing but as I was looking in the case someone comes along and turns out the light like we weren't standing there looking into the case without a greeting or an offer to help with selection maybe-WOW!! This was part of a celebration for Lunar Chinese New Year. There is a lot of parking all around. For a event well attended the parking circle starts to get large. There are multiple access points to keep the crowd flowing. Really good food inside and a nice permanent store for to go food. Great time walking around getting ideas for the sustainable store and products Love the bar area really good selection of beer and excellent service. I've come here a few times for all of the above, but this last in particular I brought my father in law to have coffee and lunch. He thoroughly enjoyed his cuppa and our vegetarian sandwich loaded with veg. I had an Italian sandwich and it had a ton of meat, freshly carved. Everyone who works in this entire market always seems friendly and helpful. Brand new (August 2019) food venue in a cavernous airy structure. All the food we tried was delectable. We came twice during their "soft grand opening" for breakfast and then late lunch. There were different food venders there each time (we sampled from three). There are also coffee venders and a bar set up in what looks like a vintage airstream trailer. We stayed next door to the newly opened mac market on our recent McMinnville stay and were glad to have it near! It is a cute and trendy spot that has a beer and wine bar, a coffee stand, and some cute local goods and produce. They have live music certain nights of the week and at the bar serve all local wines and beers. There is cpr hole and other games and it serves well as a place you can come hang out. There is even a little airstream RV inside that doubles as a a cocktail bar! In all it was a cute and trendy spot that we visited several times. My only critique would be as a "market" we were wishing there was a lot more to shop from (both goods and foods), but I know they just opened so maybe more are on the way soon! read more

Cute market with Portland prices. There's a restaurant kitchen with rotating food offerings, beer/wine bar, little kiosks with local produce, meats and foodie gifts. Live music and whatnot too. Very open and spacious. Towards the back is a courtyard area that can be reserved for private events. Well it turned out to be worth the long drive from Portland to McMinnville. Once I heard Hayward was nominated for a James Beard award I made a reservation. The food was fabulous! I had the Mushroom Croquette, the Pappardelle and the incredible White Chocolate Mousse which was one of the most unusual desserts I've ever had, but simply stunning! The Mushroom Croquette and the Pappardelle were also unusual and fabulous. The bartender recommended a Spanish Rose which was absolutely delicious and only $10 a glass. But then, all the prices were reasonable. If it wasn't so far away I'd go back soon. Definitely worth the drive, check it out! read more

Amazing spot in Mac! Tons of Covid-friendly seating, really cool industrial feel, beer, wine, and cocktails (I am currently drinking my way through their list of specials)! The food is delicious, from meals to small bites, even a gluten free bakery is on site! The service is excellent and you're able to keep a tab at both bars and the Colab kitchen, making payment easy.
