    Chicken Marsalla

They do authentic Italian, better than many other. Really enjoyed it. Thx! It's not cheap but it is so much worth it.

You are going to get restaurant sized portions from a food truck! Located with the permanent food truck parking lot just outside of downtown modesto, you can always find parking. The prices are steep, but it is so worth it! High quality ingredients and choices for protein. Everything I have received to date has been fabulous, and we had so much food we had to finish it the next day. Even reheated the flavors were on point. Not pictured with my review was the chicken piccata w mashed potatoes and seasoned sautéed vegetables. The capers and sauce were so creamy good, and the veggies!!! The veggies perfectly cooked IMO!! The pesto is perfect and ample, no hunting for more, you get it all. High quality protein choices, next time I want to try the shrimp! Worth a visit, you never know how long a food truck will be around. Treat those taste buds today.

The shrimp Alfredo is so greasy like half of the bowl was filled with it and my shrimp was mushy.

Zero color in the "sautéd" mushrooms. Zero color in the sauce. This is cream and broth.

Huge disappointment. The chicken Marsala has zero Marsala taste. Watery. Cold. The chicken piccata is the same sauce with no lemon flavor. Also watery . Cold. I knew we were in trouble when the garlic bread wasn't even good. Vegetables weren't properly cooked. This was a rushed meal for $40 . Will not be returning to try the Cajun chicken pasta. Left a comment on social media and they blocked me Instead of addressing realistic criticism. Sad. Could have made this right . Instead made it worse.

Came across an Italian food truck and decided to share a menu on Yelp since I didn't see any postings or reviews from this place.

Cajun pasta, horrible lighting, doesn't do it justice but trust me, 10/10 on flavor!

My boyfriend and I have ordered food from here a handful of times and not ONCE have we ever been disappointed! Service is great! They are super nice and friendly! Food is delicious. Chicken is never dry, the shrimp is always cooked perfectly. Every sauce they have is flavorful! My picky child DEVOURED their alfredo pasta! You get big portions for a good cost! Every time I get asked, where do you wanna eat: "Braulios" hands down the best!

Picture taken Saturday at 8:58 pm . Best flavor huge portion friendly staff. The time taken for the food to be made was probably 15 minutes but it was enough time to walk around find a place to sit so I could enjoy the food. Benissimo place you definitely want to try the whole menu.

Delicious! And big portions! Literally better than Amici's Italian food... don't have pics of the food bc it smelled so good and I ate it before I realized I should have taken a pic.. We got the penne with meat sauce and they are not greedy with the ground meat and also the chicken parm. Can't go wrong with this place.

One afternoon in Hayward, my family and I showed up right at 6 PM, exactly at closing time. We had just left a family party but purposely held our appetite because our favorite Puerto Rican food truck was finally back in town. My wife and I were married in Old San Juan, and Puerto Rico will always hold a special place in our hearts. We even travel back to the island with our kids whenever we can. When Chef Darren saw how disappointed we were that we had missed them, he didn't turn us away. Even though they were already closed, he fired the grill back up and blessed our family with an incredible meal. That level of hospitality, heart, and genuine Puerto Rican warmth is rare. The food was absolutely amazing as always, authentic flavors that instantly take us back to the island, but the kindness and service meant even more to us. We'll always support Boriqua Kitchen. Truly the best Puerto Rican food in the Bay Area, served by people who treat you like family.

It is located off a newly renovated street where new high rise development were put in to increase dwelling density and foot traffic. It is not quite there yet, but I can see where this is going. It is held in this square near a business park so there is plenty of parking. There is a grassy square where families like to lounge with picnic blankets and lawn chairs. There's usually a dj dishing out tunes, a beer and wine tent, and about 8-10 food trucks lined up in an organized fashion. It goes every Friday in the warm months so from May to October. If a holiday pops up on a Friday like 4th of July they will skip it. Starts at 5pm and goes to about 9pm. Bulk of the crowd goes from 6:30 - 8. I go to about 2-4 per year since 2017, with the exception of 2020 cuz y'all know why. You can see the food truck line up each week on their website or socials. So I like to scan that and if it looks promising then I'll text some friends/family if anyone wants to meet up after work on Friday. If the weather is nice, it is just a just a festive and social way to start a summer's weekend. Now even tho I like these events I don't always like food truck food. Sure it is trendy and you do get to sample and /or get stuff brought to you in one area. But I often just find many of the food to be just average at best at prices that rival sit down dining. So to me I like scoping these out occasionally but I don't think they are worth going to on a frequent basis. I also feel that there aren't enough places to sit and eat once you get your food from a truck. There is a small area where they put out portable picnic benches, but those fill up with just 20 people or so. Otherwise you have to sit on the lawn and come prepared with blanket or lawn chair, or find a concrete planter box to sit on, or go back to your car to eat. Another reason why food trucks events often leave me hanging. But bring a warm typical Bay Area summer's evening where it doesn't get dark til almost 9pm and you want to be amongst your community and commerce, this event will do you more than fine.

There was even some line dancing going on in the makeshift stage area at some point. Sound was not the greatest, the volume quite low even for a small event, but it was fine. There were about 8 food trucks to choose from, along with a few random vendor/service tents (like Bass Pro Shops). Decided on sliders and garlic fries from the Curveball food truck. The food was okay, good enough to satisfy my hunger (see my separate review on that). I snagged one of the few spots in the grass with shade on this hot evening, though they also have tables and seating here, partially shaded too. An actual restroom (not porta potties) on site, in the Fremont downtown event center building. Also, plenty of space available in the parking lot. This is a pretty low-key community event, free to attend and grab a bite to eat, and just hang out for an hour or two.

One day it is something messy and indulgent, the next it is lighter, but it always hits. Grabbing a drink, finding a spot at the picnic tables, and slowly settling in as the place fills up is kind of the rhythm. It is social without being overwhelming, lively without being chaotic. This also means a good variety for folks with different dietary needs, because they are mostly picking their own food. I do wish that there are more heaters around for the colder days but that's just life in the bay!
