Chicken picatta with mashed potatoes and broccoli and in the background salmon rustico

My favorite lil spot for chicken picatta and some warm Italian bread served with a traditional balsamic oil and spices to dip in. The service is amazing and super friendly . Our server Alondra took great care of us and took our orders without even writing it down. Our meal arrived and did not disappoint. That slightly sour bite into the lemon capers in their white wine sauce cannot be matched. I have this d8sh elsewhere and it always makes me wonder why I would ever stray. The casual and family atmosphere is a crowd pleaser. I have been visiting this family run restaurant for years and will continue to do so. I approve and will be back.

the Best Italian hole in the wall in the 209! everything is delicious! this is a must stop

    Seafood linguine

Googled pasta near me , this place popped up while I was in the area. Walked into the restaurant the server Alondra was absolutely beautiful. I wanted the lasagna but I dont eat pork which it has. She recommended some alternatives I ended up going with the seafood linguine .. as a chef who deals with high quality sea food I have to say I was disappointed as I deal with fresh seafood . The pasta its self was a little over cooked and very under seasoned. Like I tell my kitchen staff a little s&p makes all the difference. My daughter had the spaghetti and meat balls she seemed to enjoy it . Not bad for the 2 of us was about 42$ more then very reasonable pricing. Kind of disappointed i didn't get to have the lasagna as it does look very appetizing. If they offered only beef lasagna as an option im sure they could bring in more buisness. I do recommend coming in and trying this place.

We celebrated my moms bday a day earlier due to us not all being together for her actual birthday. She absolutely loved the food! We all did. They are not stingy when it comes to serving wine, the service is great only one server handling it all so smoothly. They have a drive thru too! That is so awesome, they implemented it during Covid era and have stuck with it. The restaurant is small but cozy it's located in not the best of neighborhoods, but that street has two great restaurants Lao's kitchen and this one. We will definitely be back and try more of their menu.

Man, what a place. Neighborhood is a lil ruff saw a few homeless folks walk by and the surrounding buildings are a little older including this restaurant. Nonetheless those things dont effect your dining. I got the spaghetti cabonara and a to go cal zone. Ive never had cabonaro at a restaurant before so I hold this one as reference to any other ones i have. Green onion is added to this cabonara. A traditional one doesn't have it. It was a nice addition, it was delightful. Not sure what type of bread is served but it was hot and tasty with the combination oil, balsamic vinegar and some seasoning was great. Got a second serving to eat with the spaghetti. The cal zone was a large enough for two adults. Great ingredients soft dough. It even came with parmesan cheese and more bread. The best cal zone I've had. I dont eat much cal zones tho. Soda is by the can at least the coke is. Water with lemon. Service was great. It was only me and a couple at the time. I will visit again.

We had done a google search on Palermo about a month ago and we just postpone our visit because we were skeptical, so on Sunday May 31st we decided to head over for Dinner and Im soo glad we did!! It is a very small restaurant but it made it feel very cozy, the girls that we're taking orders and bussing the tables were friendly and attentive, we got the calamari for appetizer and it was a 10/10 however it was missing a marinera sauce for my personal preference, we got a kids cheese pizza for my son he loved it, I ordered the capellini pomodoro it was delicious, my daughter ordered chicken alfredo & she liked it, my husband got the linguine fradiavola I think that's what it was called the one that has the sea food his was soo tasty! We all got a sodas they are served canned and if you ask for water they give you a water bottle, for dessert we had the banana pie & tiramisu I prefer the Banana the tiramisu was lacking on the coffee flavor for me. It can get pretty loud so just be aware of that it is not a romantic setting more of a family ambiance, plenty of parking on the lot next to the restaurant, food is made fresh so be prepared to wait and enjoy the bread with olive oil & balsamic vinegar! It is on the pricey side FYI with tip included our bill for a party of 4 was almost $200

It was quiet on a Friday morning of a long holiday weekend, but I imagine this place gets busy. There's ample indoor seating (no outdoor seating that I saw). Fun fact: while enjoying my coffee, I looked up what "Con Azucar" means "with sugar." I mean, I loooove it. Self-admitted sweet tooth over here. I was greeted the second I walked in, which was a nice surprise since that doesn't happen at a lot of coffee shops. The menu has everything - lattes, frappes, refreshers, hot and cold drinks, plus a bunch of pastries. Apparently they also have giant conchas?! How did I miss that? Next time, for sure. I went with a Large Shaken Brown Sugar Espresso (4 shots), ready in less than 5 minutes. It was yums & sweet, just like the girl at the register promised. Hot take: it tastes exactly how Starbucks' version did when it first came out (before it went downhill). Con Azucar's is definitely better. I'll absolutely be back, with all their seasonal drinks, I can't wait to try more!

A resonse to the buisness owners comment after my review of there Modesto Location…read more Every customer will have a diffrent experience yes, but the diffrence of experience shouldnt be based on the quality of product which I think Joanna B. failed to understand. You're products that were tried weren't that great and thats the issue at hand. you're coffee isnt stong even with a quad shot, & 7 pumps of brown sugar and it wasnt sweet or the "dulce de leche" as you so call it tasted like plain caramel. The pan that I tried was DRY, and size for price point was atrocious. I undertsand the cost of goods, the cost of running resturants as I have also done so. For comments to be made claiming just since your a small buisness owner and people should just take products as given and not look into it further based on price and quality is insulting. Money is not the factor here for me, but it could be for some. Good food cost good money but unfortunately you're Coffee shop does not fall under that category of worth the dollar you have set out. If thats the type of buisness you're running on worring about "making a profit" then this isnt the buisness you should be in, Working with food takes passion and a want to make the product the very best not just what can keep a store open. Ive been a pastry chef for well over 15 years, have worked in some of the hildest yielding bakeries in southern Califonia since my early twenties. So the quality of goods isn't somthing I don't know about. I write about food and give my honest opinions on such based on experience in this field. Ive ran restuarants, worked on labor cutting cost and what the over all profit margin on the product. Mexican pan culturally is some of the most inexpensive baked goods to make. We come from a culture that is for yield based on poverty standpoints. Pan mexicano was created as an item that could be enjoyed on a daily because of its low cost of production. So Making a cookie that is smaller than my palm for two dollars is as I said wild. People need to support Local panederias instead of theses gnetifried locations who supposedly are for the people. you're a franchise youre in the buisness for the dollar stop kidding yourself with the idea its based on high quality products. Restuarnts are expensive to run thats very understandable, I know that well enough but making it the excuse for shitty items isnt gonna slide. Unfortunately our cultural wants to appropriate so much that we start catering to everyone instead of sticking to our roots of goood cafe with amazing pan. This is why people need to stop supporting these instagram loactions that are all for the views. Saying that youre locations aren't for instagram is a lie and we all know it. Places having social media presence is okay but worring about the outisde more than the product that is being produced is the problem you can have items look appealing to the eye while also being quality, and if that were the case hell yes im down to spend 15 bucks on a large cup of coffee. Here no.

The menu is on a TV screen behind the counter, and fair warning: the font runs pretty small, so it helps to know what you want ahead of time. And trust me, you'll want to know because beyond the classic coffee drinks, they have a seriously fun lineup of unique flavors and specialty drinks that are absolutely worth exploring. I was personally lured in by their Banana Bread Latte from an Instagram post. Guilty as charged. You can also build your own drink, the available flavors are posted on the back of the espresso machine near the register. Came in on a Friday at lunchtime and it was busyyyyyy - two ladies running the show and keeping up like champs. My drink took about 20 minutes, which my husband wasn't thrilled about, but honestly? Totally worth it. They also take phone orders, which can add to the wait but pro tip: call ahead next time and skip the line! Now, the best part I have to shout out: in addition to the standard 12, 16, and 24 oz sizes, they offer a 32 oz Big Kahuna. This is not a drill, coffee lovers. I ordered the 32 oz Iced Banana Bread Latte and it was a solid 10/10. They also carry snacks, pastries, and a few little extras to browse while you wait. As a local, I'll definitely be back!
