Went through last night with my wife and two kids. Bought $35 worth of food in the drive thru. I got pulled up to a side door and then pulled up again so they can serve their customers behind us. Waited 10 minutes after being pulled up and finally got our food. Everything was barely warm, there were hardly any fries in each meal and they were mushy at this point. 2 people's chicken strips and a chicken sandwich was nearly cold. The only thing hot was the gravy. So if I had to guess we got pulled up to wait on gravy after they made the rest of our food and let it sit there. No ranch in the bag either after asking what sauce we wanted. read more

Was traveling through Texas for the National Pigeon Association's national show and the younger crowd there kept talking about Braum's. I kept hearing 'you have to try the ice cream at Braum's' so one night after the show we drove over to check it out. They have a large, extensive menu (which I picked off of since it was my first time) and also allow for you to create your own unique mountain of ice cream and toppings. The black forest sundae is vanilla ice cream on top of a brownie that is smothered in dark cherries and sauce. Put a little whipped cream on top to be awesome. It was delicious. Absolutely trash service, I ordered a bag of burgers and I repeated no cheese several times. Only to get all these burgers with cheese, and then when I said something again about the cheese everyone was mad at me like it's my fault you can't follow instructions. My experience at this Braum's was definitely better than my experience the other location I went to. There is a bright cheerful feel to the place as soon as you walk in and the fact that there were so many people in there seemed testimony to it being a popular place. All I was after was my small sundae. I walked straight up to the counter, was greeted in a friendly way, made my order with no problems and received it expeditiously. It was as delicious as I expected it to be. I ordered the Cherry pecan ice cream with hot fudge on top. It was about $2 for the small Sunday which is perfect for me. I had never stopped at Braum's before but my boyfriend wanted chicken and I wanted ice cream. He had the tenders and fries and I ordered the berry salad with grilled chicken which had strawberries, blueberries, red onions, chopped grilled chicken, croutons and romaine lettuce. The chicken was tender and still moist. I also had a strawberry sundae which I asked for banana, chocolate and nuts. My Sunday was missing the banana but overall it was exactly what I needed to fit my sweet tooth. His chicken tenders were ahead bit over cooked but the fries were very good I couldn't stop sneaking them. I have always enjoyed Braum's food and ice cream. Not all of them are the same even though they try. We stopped today to get a bite and we all wanted to eat here. We ordered my favorite "the jalapeño burger". Only bad thing is the burger was cold. Bread was cold. Meat was warm. I don't know why but this is a huge let down for us. I am from the West coast and have never been to a Braum's before, and was on a road trip and decided that this seemed like a must try since they kept popping up on the road from Oklahoma to Texas. This place is very "Americana" scoop shop with sundaes and their own brand of ice cream. There was also a small grocery store with some fresh produce and quarts of ice cream to buy and take home. Oh my. This was my second ever visit to a Braums (earlier today was my first) as I'm not from the area. I got the #2 meal, which I think was the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a soda, pay $.50 more for a small milkshake. The burger was sooooooo good. So much bigger than I was expecting. Plenty of crisp lettuce, fresh tomato and onion (OK,I picked most of the onion off). Juicy. Delicious. The fries were good too, though a few more would've been nice. The shake was okay too. But the burger blew me away (granted I'm used to Applebee's and not quality Texas meat). Next time I'm just getting the burger, no meal, and a sundae. When I did tried to submit my order for 10 with a sprite the speaker response was a 2 with fries which I advised no a number 10 then stated 1, 0 then their response was a #1. I always get a pretty decent hamburger at Braum's on Grand. Last night around 9:30 we ordered 2 hamburgers & an order of fries to go. It only took about five mins to get the order as we were the only ones there at the time. This was one of the best burgers I have eaten & the fries were crisp & hot. I love good tomatoes & these didn't disappoint because they were fresh & firm. We were both very happy with our food. Will definitely go back after this. read more

the website is deceiving.... way better than the actual locaton. we chose to eat here instead of Whataburger due to the marketing.
