Burger and fries. I was in a hurry and didn't have a chance to get any ice cream, guess I'll just have to come back. Service was quick, and ambiance is of an old mechanic shop.

Chocolate cake with coffee ice cream. ( I forgot the name)

Great food!!! Oh my! The fries!! So good. My hamburger was perfect. I even splurged and got the chocolate fudge cake. It was huge... I thought it would be super rich, but the cake was flavorable and fluffy and the ice cream perfect. Some whipped cream. I can't wait to get hungry so I can comeback! Oh, everyone was super nice. Our waitress, Breighly (sp) was THE BEST!! She made good suggestions and was there when we needed anything, but not hovering. Neat decor as well!!!

Malcom's for lunch! Delicious! They have the 'good kind a fries' I had the Ruben sandwich and my boys had the corn dogs. Root beer float to follow was amazing. I wish I had a before picture of that! I love the atmosphere as well! Nice cute spot! I'm so glad we stopped in today, definitely will be back! Service was great as well! Manager stopped by to make sure everything was good, which I loved

    What I ordered. Chocolate-cherry.

Just what I love, an Old Fashioned Ice Cream shop, the kind family families go to and have been going to for years. I didn't need to eat but I had a sweet tooth so I stopped in and got myself an ice cream soda. It was a mixture of chocolate and Cherry. I've posted a couple pictures. Unfortunately, while I was trying to line it up for the nicest view, the scoop of ice cream which was hanging on the side went plop onto the plate. I still got a picture but it wasn't nearly as pretty as it should have been. The soda was reasonably priced and delicious tasting. I plan to go back and try their food sometime. 2.6.18 I went back a couple weeks ago and got another sidecar soda which was as good as the first and I got a good picture to post this time before it melted! Then I came back last night when I couldn't decide where to go for dinner and got the Tuna Fondue Sandwich which was grilled cheese with tuna salad stuffed inside and tasted really good. Perfect comfort food. I got a bowl of chicken noodle soup($3) to go with it and onion straws on the side for $0.75 extra. I saved half my dinner for lunch today so I could order a mini hot fudge sundae for $3.50 to complete my meal. It made a great meal.

Best thing ever: Strawberry Sidecar Soda with Strawberry Ice Cream.

While passing through Amarillo, I had the most delightful dessert ever at Malcolm's. I am pining over the Strawberry Sidecar Soda with Strawberry Ice Cream. I am thrilled to have found a place with traditional diner style sandwiches and old timey soda shop items. Seemed to be a family friendly, group friendly meet up. A good choice if you seek a Mom and Pop option while passing through town. I was treated to Southern hospitality, a comfy booth, and quick service. I also liked the Tuna Fondue though my bread may have been overbuttered.

We got salad with chicken nuggets. This was the best of all the dishes. The chicken strips were Way over breaded. I was looking at a plate that you would get from Dairy Queen. As I took the breading off, the chicken was moist, unlike DQ. Haha. The ranch dressing is home made. This was a plus and I loved the fries. Pictures follow. The restaurant used to give a feel of being in an old fashioned malt shop. With new management a lot of the antiques have been removed and two large televisions have been placed. Tragic!

The food was Good , not greasy for a burger and fries . The service was outstanding and will return .

Great little place to grab a bite! The chicken fried steak was tender and the gravy was good. My husbands bacon cheeseburger was great. The sweet tea was FANTASTIC and huge. After dinner we shared a chocolate butterscotch Sunday, and it was plenty! The prices are really good, portions are big. The staff were all friendly young ladies who appeared to be having a good time working together. Tons of old signs, photos and mementos to look at. That made the overall feel inside, light and happy.

If you are looking for white tablecloths, subtle lighting, or a quiet place to whisper sweet…read morenothings, keep driving past Coyote Bluff Cafe (often locally called the "Coyote Bluu" or simply "The Bluff") in Amarillo, Texas. But if your idea of culinary heaven involves a grease-stained paper liner, an old-school Texas roadhouse vibe, and a burger that requires structural support, you have arrived at the right place. Nestled just a few blocks off Interstate 40 in a historic, diminutive former dance hall moved wholesale from neighboring Claude, Texas, Coyote Bluff is tiny. With only about 12 tables packed into its 1,000 square feet, the atmosphere is alive with a loud, friendly hum, a dirt parking lot, and a vintage bathtub floating full of ice and cold beer bottles. The place is amazing!!!! The unique steaming process is really amazing. You have to try the chili cheese fries to go with it. The menu keeps its focus tight, centering around half-pound patties of lean Texas ground beef cooked to order. While traditional options like the Hickory Burger and the Green Chili Cheese Burger are stellar, the undisputed heavyweight titleholder here is the legendary Burger from Hell. I had to try it, my wife opted for the Chicken Fried Steak. Many approach the "Hell Burger" with great trepidation, expecting it to be more of a gimmick built strictly on painful, mouth-numbing heat. Instead, it offers a beautifully layered flavor profile. The beef patty with Tabasco and their proprietary "Coyote Hell Sauce," then smothers it in gooey melted cheese, grilled onions, and fresh, vibrant sautéed jalapeños. It arrived on a toasted onion bun, it lands a solid 7 out of 10 on the heat scale. But rather than scorching your palate, it wraps it in a vinegary, spicy, deeply savory warmth. This place also serves up classic, heavy-hitting Texas roadhouse appetizers: Each of these are amazing sides and are worth of mentioning, First the Cheese Fries with Green Chiles, which I had with my burger and my wife had with her Chicken fried steak, it is served on a massive aluminum platter, these fresh-cut fries are heavily blanketed in melted cheese and mild green chiles. They are a mandatory companion to the burgers.  Other appetizers worth of note, are the Texas Red Chili & Green Chili Stew: The thick, hearty green chili stew is packed with meat and mild green peppers, offering a wonderful warming comfort, especially during cool Panhandle days.  and any of the Fried options ranging from baskets of battered fried pickles, garlic mushrooms, and stuffed jalapeños. Because everything is cooked to order and the dining room is incredibly compact, expect a wait during lunch rushes or weekends. However, that time spent waiting in the dirt lot among locals and passing road-trippers is part of the charm. Coyote Bluff Cafe doesn't try to be anything other than a spectacular, small-town Texas burger joint, and it executes that identity flawlessly. This is a MUST Stop in Texas

Once inside you notice the charm of it all. Dollar bills all over the walls, showing multiple satisfied customers. Two servers/ waitresses working their tails off. They were very polite and patient with all the patrons. Ordered the bacon cheese burgers. All I can say is you better have an appetite, they are half pound patties and piled high with the fixings. Excellent & satisfaction is all I can say. Also for the half & half- fries and onion rings. Hot and freshly made. This is definitely a place to try out. Interesting and the food was well worth the $. Kudos to the cooks!

Worst instance now making me leave this review...and not coming back. Started off just standing waiting to be seated, not even in the door because of a group of people. Said they were a big party made sense why it may be hard to get in. Should of just left then. Lackluster attention from staff for everyone that came in after that group. Saw one couple even immediately be seated though after waiting 20 min with 3 people ahead of us and another group behind. (Happened to know the waitress apparently) Saw one table just up and leave due to being ignored and waiting on ticket to the point they left some cash and up and left in a very bad mood. Got told multiple times a 10-15 min wait due to tables needing cleaned off. There were 4 open tops that were empty throughout restaurant, the whole time and then another 3 opened up while waiting. Then was told 20-30 min wait due to the kitchen being backed up. At that point we just up and left combined with the VIP treatment of people being able to skip ahead of not 1 or 2 but 4 other groups of only 2 to 4 people with at least 5 or 6 open tables. I don't leave reviews often and do for great experiences and bad experiences this was one of the worst. The waitresses were clueless high school or 20 somethings not wanting to actively work and instead argue over whose fault it was a table left or why people would have their name written down and instead would leave due to the treatment of even just being seated, but somehow it's the kitchens fualt. 10/10 do not recommend and don't bother.

Have you ever wanted to eat out... but not actually dine out? So you order takeout and immediately…read moreget that little feeling of apprehension like, "Please let this food be as good as it would've been in the restaurant." Well, that was us today -- and Bubba's 33 absolutely delivered. My husband ordered the smash burger, and I got the New England-style fish and chips, plus a full order of their hand-breaded, hand-cut onion rings that are honestly to die for. We picked everything up just 15 minutes after ordering, and every single item tasted like it had just come straight from the kitchen to our table. The onion rings were perfectly crispy with that fresh-from-the-fryer crunch and flavor. The fish had that classic crunchy beer batter on the outside while still being flaky and tender inside, and the garlic mashed potatoes were clearly homemade with just the right amount of garlic. Now let's talk about the smash burger... it was HUGE. Seriously, it could feed three people. My husband practically inhaled it before I could even take a picture! What really impressed me wasn't just the portion sizes -- it was the attention to detail. The onion rings were packaged separately so they stayed crisp, and the savory Bubba's 33 sauce paired perfectly with them. We each ate several onion rings and STILL had leftovers. Even the side salad was incredibly fresh. I'm obsessed with those little crispy potato straws on top, and the homemade ranch is the perfect finishing touch. Honestly, it was refreshing to order takeout and not have a single issue. Nothing missing, nothing cold, nothing soggy or stale -- just an exceptional meal from start to finish. Huge shoutout to the cooking staff and online order prep team at Bubba's 33. You all absolutely crushed it tonight. We will definitely be ordering again and again!
