This location stinks. Customer service is non existent, the staff is a bunch of extremely rude teenagers. Pulled up to the window and the kid working it literally threw my bag of food at me without saying a word then closed the window. I continued waiting for my drink and he opened up the window again after a few moments and said "What do you need" with the rudest attitude ever. He handed me the drink with the lid half way off and the liquid dripping down the sides. No pride in his work and no social skills. Braum's has the best ice cream, hands down, and the food market is outstanding. The quality of the products is why I keep coming back. That said, the experience could be better. Service is often extremely slow, and customer service can be hit or miss. The white uniforms don't help--everyone ends up looking dirty, and the back area where food and ice cream are prepared often looks messy, which takes away from an otherwise great product. Overall, Braum's shines in what it sells, but improving speed, cleanliness, and service would make it truly top-tier. read more

I've heard of Braum's Ice Cream , but this was my first time having it. I was visiting family in Mustang and we stopped by one night to get dinner and ice cream. I was happy to see they have the Chicken Strip Dinner with Gravy like I used to get at Dairy Queen in Las Vegas , but they stop selling food and only do ice cream and cakes now. It also has a good sized store attached to it to buy gallons of ice cream , fruit , snacks , frozen dinners , etc. The store is very clean and organized. They also have a large dining room. I got the Chicken Strip Dinner # 10 with a Strawberry Shake. The chicken strips were pretty good and so was the gravy. You get a roll instead of Texas Toast which was okay , but would have preferred Texas Toast. The fries were good and they gave us a lot and even gave us an extra order. My son got the Bacon Cheeseburger Combo # 5 and I tried it and it was okay. My daughter in law got the 4 Chicken Strip Combo # 9 with Braum's Dip instead of Gravy. She also got a Cappuccino Chunky Chocolate Brownie Sundae. I wasn't a fan , but she loved it. If I lived here I would come back to try more of the ice cream. Over staffed, underqualified, I saw one of the managers not only pick his nose but wipe it in the bag before putting food in it before handing it to a customer. The back is a disaster and absolutely disgusting how the place hasn't failed a health check I don't know. The staff get hardly any training whatsoever and teenagers run the place and they give the local farm company of Oklahoma a bad name. the place is constantly stocked with out of date products it is absolutely horrible and if you aren't one of the favorites or a teenage girl you get treated like garbage. Pulled in just before the end of breakfast but was still able to order. It took a minute at the drive up to order but once tht was done around to pay then pick up. Nice young lady at the pay window but didn't get a hello or thank you. The man and the pickup window was more friendly. The grande burritos are awesome. We moved to Oklahoma a few months ago and discovered Braun's. We really like their ice cream and stuff. But whenever we go to the one in Mustang it is far less than clean in the back prep area. Tonight I took my daughter there after she got off work for some ice cream and the back area was not even just a little messy but rather completely unsanitary. Having worked in food service I know that there where numerous health code violations. Needless to say my daughter did not want to order food from here so I took her elsewhere to a place with a clean and safe food prep area. When they finally made it, it was a cup of ice cream with a little liquid on top. No way to drink it through a straw. The lettuce in the salad was old and brown on the edges. This is the worst Braum's I've ever been to. I live close, and I'll drive all the way to the Yukon one just to avoid having to come to this one. I stood and waited in line for 10 minutes before I was even helped. Their counter behind where they make their shakes is always disgusting too. Well, this was the worst time of my life. I arrive at this Braums. After a long drive I was here for water, burgers, and ice cream for my beautiful wife. I've been to this Braums probably only a handful of times. The first visit I paid to them, I ordered grande burritos with no jalapeños and American cheese instead of pepper jack. They messed up making it that time. Today I decided to let them try and redeem themselves but that was a mistake I should have seen coming from the 5 minute wait at the speaker. I thought that I'd let that slide since I've worked at a braums in the past. I know how that goes. I waited at the second window for 10 minutes after I paid for two burritos. Then when I got them it was wrong. I went inside to get it fixed and the AMD was helpful and polite, obviously very busy. He's the only reason my rating is two stars. No one else gave me any kind of small talk or even a "you're welcome " after I thanked them. I hope Drew reads through these reviews and decides to fix the staffing issue with this store. I took my friend from California is to this Braum's today for the first time. We really did have a complicated order but Donna was so helpful and kind to us! A lot of times, in a drive through, you don't get the help you actually want, so this was a nice surprise! Also, the biscuits and gravy were great, per the usual. And the iced coffee was perfect.
