I haven't been to a Braun's since I left OK in 2004. The ice cream is amazing and it's great they maintained the fresh food market. It is very impressive and homey. Love the ice creams! Service was very friendly. However super slow. They don't seem properly staffed for the busy nights. Also they really need to provide better information at the market check out counter to let folks understand when they should check out there or go to the main counter. I saw at least two frustrated people leave the market because their was no one at the market register and no instructions. The really sad part was how dirty the place was and the outdoor seating was so bad garbage was stacked in corners. Really unfortunate for such a high quality brand. read more

Came here tonight to redeem the place of some of these terrible reviews lol. I'd first like to address the fact that Braums is Braums, it's a fast food place, not a steak house so know it can be busy and ya service can be slow. My tip is walk in and chances are there's 10 less people in line inside as opposed to the drive thru. Anyways, tonight I had a wonderful experience at Braums. No one in line in front of me inside, staff were nice, order was called fast, fries were hot, soft serve was amazing (as always at all every Braums location), and sauce was in full stock! Sure the fries may be too salty for your average Karen but don't dog the place. I got my first taste of Braums while visiting my kiddo in college in Lubbock. This location is right next to the Texas Tech campus and next to alot of campus apartments. Prime location for fast food joints like this. We had a nice dinner close by but my son insisted we get Braums for dessert. The company is in North Texas and it's surrounding states, so I guess it was time for me to try what the locals love. I ended up ordering one of their mixes which is one of their soft serves with toppings mixed in. First off, they lacked in variety compared to Dairy Queen or Sonic. I ordered a chocolate base with Oreos and Heath Bar. What I got was vanilla with just Oreos. It was ok, nothing to write home about. Tried to order a simple ice cream this evening. The speaker in the drive through never prompted us to order, so we assumed the first window would take the order. Nobody would talk to us. We drove to the final order and they refused to take our order. The manager told us he could not take our order because he didn't have a cash register at that window. Then he proceeded to use a racial slur and made sexist comments towards the lady driving our vehicle. We will be contacting their corporate office over this. read more

This braum's is usually pretty solid for what it is, no breakfast items, drunk people, no grocery store but gets your food out pretty fast. Should be a solid 3/5...Today however, my fiance went inside to order a bag of burgers. The system was down and the employee at the register was nice and said she'd get a manager to fix it. An older hispanic woman came out of the back pretty fast and proceeded to YELL at my fiance "Get out of here! Our systems down! We can't serve you!" Firstly, no need to shout over an issue THATS NOBODY'S FAULT!!! Secondly, as someone who's worked customer service the majority of my life, you are supposed to tell the customer to stop back by in like 10 mins and the issue will most likely be resolved unless the issue is severe enough to close the store. The store was not closed over this IT issue. I don't know what possessed that old woman, probably a manager if not the franchise owner, to scream at a VERY polite customer for no reason. Absolutely terrible service. We asked the guy to read our order back in which is said completely wrong things so we corrected him and still got our order wrong and forgot a shake. He told us we had to go back through the drive through to wait 30 minutes for a shake. When we got home this is what our food looked like.. really? $8 for 3 (not 4) strips that look like this? We went in on the 22nd about 8:45-9pm... rude, not friendly at all! The place was nasty... while making shakes one lady Hispanic in blue dress pants was rubbing her face and nose scratching her head no gloves on. The ppl in the back cooking one of them was stuffing their mouth with fry's... at drive thru the girl dropped a lot of ketchup packs kicked them around and the one lady in the blue dress pants told her to wait and pick them up and put them back on the thing by the drive thru... then a white guy down by the pay window was having issues with a order and the lady in the dress pants told him to be careful on refunds cause it was bs. Terrible place, staff and manager don't care what kind is service they provide. Ordered salad with grilled chicken, I guess that means breaded chicken. Was given my ice cream told spoon is in the bag, NO spoon. Called the store twice phone rings off the wall. Waited 15 min called finally answered, asked for manager that basically gave me a blanket response, as long as you have your receipt you can come back. So now to drive all the way back to get an order corrected. Quality of staff and management at this location are terrible!! I've been to this particular store 2 times now. The first time I stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes while employees walked around before someone finally took my order. Not once did someone ask if I needed to order. Once i had ordered it didn't take long to get my order. Then I went again tonight. I thought for sure it was a one time incident. No it was not!!! This time after waiting another 10 plus minutes, an employee who was not on duty needed a to go cup and was in line and asked if I was waiting to order. sadly, braums is my boyfriends favorite fast food chain. it's usually not a bad place to go when people that care about the service and food they're providing for their customers. we paid $18 for two of us to eat. this would've been fine if the food was actually good but my burger had onions on it when i said none please and so much mayonnaise that the wrapper of the burger literally tore open and the burger was absolutely disgusting. i will leave a picture below (i had taken three bites) of it but just know it's literally soggy and soaked in sauce. i genuinely wanted to ask what we did or said wrong for our food to be so terrible. i understand they may have been tired as it was 9:30, but we had just gotten off of work and just needed something to make the night a little more relaxing and enjoyable. the opposite happened and i'm not sure if i will take my business here again, i almost want an apology. read more
