We got there just in time to order and get seated before a kid's birthday party rolled in. Screaming kids everywhere and the staff was patient and efficient with every order. We had the Bundt cakes sundae and brownie sundae. Delicious as always! We enjoyed our ice cream while we watched the madhouse around us. Went to this Braum's with my friends on July 21st, 2026 at 6:30 pm. That was a Tuesday. First , when at the counter waiting to order- noticed French fries scattered on the kitchen floor, as if they hadn't cleaned the kitchen floor all day. I mean customers could notice the fries on the floor, why couldn't the staff at 2223 W 21st N? Second, the staff was extremely rude. When I ordered, the lady didn't even look at me and was scrolling on her phone. Off handedly asked if there was anything else. It took 15 minutes to get my order. After 10 minutes of waiting, I took my receipt to the counter along with my friend 's who was in a wheelchair. I showed them her receipt and said she's been waiting 30 minutes. I got " We've called that number 5 times." I managed to politely say " No you have not called it at all. We are in the back with 5 other people for a Bible study meeting and none of us heard it and it's quiet in here." A tray with her order was literally slammed down on the counter in front of me and the staff lady said again " We've called her number 5 times." I repeated again 6 people and quiet in here. You never called it. She is in a wheelchair and needs help so all 6 of us were listening intently." At least they got her order right. Mine, they gave me an onion pepper jack burger when I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I politely went back to the counter with the unopened burger and said i ordered a bacon cheeseburger and showed my receipt. The same lady went over to the kid who was by the French Fry maker. He said " She wants another? Oh bacon cheeseburger." I watched as he grabbed a hamburger patty from that counter and piled lettuce on it, no cheese and one slice of bacon. The hamburger patty itself was cold. I also asked for a cookie dough milkshake. A melted vanilla shake was given to me instead. I mean melted as if it had been sitting in the sun for 5 minutes melted. As I was turning to go back to my friends, the manager showed up and he leaned over my shoulder and loudly asked if there was a problem. When I tried to respond, he yelled in my face " Would you want free fries?" I wanted to point out the old dirty fries on the kitchen floor. I said politely, " No I do not want free fries. I wanted what I had ordered and paid for." Showed him my receipt then I went back to my friends. I do not like leaving bad reviews for any business . I do love Braum's but I am never going back to 2223 W 21st N in Wichita, Ks. Visit the one on Seneca st- never a problem and always clean. Or any other Braum's in Wichita just don't waste your time at the 2223 W 21st N Braum's in Wichita , Ks. Again I don't like to leave bad reviews for any business, but after the staff lady lied about calling my friend's order 5 times when my friend was in a wheelchair and 5 of us listening intently and never heard it, then my friend's tray slammed on the counter and then how they treated me with my order- getting rude about me asking politely for the bacon cheeseburger I ordered- and getting a cold hamburger patty with only lettuce and not even cheese- acting like I had no right to ask for what I spent money on, the kid who put my hamburger together was not wearing food handler's gloves and the old French fries all over the kitchen floor- don't waste your time or health. I mentioned my friend in the wheelchair and I were with 5 other people and we were having a study group meeting - and this is how we were treated - very rudely and we weren't bothering anybody about anything. They treated us differently because she was handicapped and because we said we were with our Bible study group and that my friend's number was never called. My father,nephew,and I came by earlier we ordered two shakes and a junior cone we thought we were paying for but we got to the window and got our order but you guys forgot our cone my dad had to give my nephew his shake and he didn't get anything something I know places like chick fil a does is make sure that when employees are taking orders they read it back to make sure they didn't mess anything I think in this situation that could improve braums service read more

I go up to the window in the drive-thru and order a number 9. 6 piece, large fries and water. And we get up to the window where the employee reads it back to us "number 6". Corrected himself with our exact order and didnt change it. We get to the next window, are given the wrong food, told to pull up and still have to pay for the right food. This is bullshit and terrible service when its such an easy thing to fix. I know, i worked fast food. As im writing this weve been outside for 10 minutes waiting on a 6 piece and they'e had to come back out and see our reciept twice. Dont come here if you get pissed easy for a good reason. read more

I called and spoke with the manager Alex, who proceeded to have terrible customer service, said he would replace the fries but not the burger. Had the worst experience ever at this location. Stood at the register as I watched 3 teenager girls and 1 young adult male. Messing around talking to some friend who were waiting for ice cream. There was another guy and his child waiting to place his order. I asked where the manager was and the young adult male said. I have no idea I'm making a shake. He looked so high like he didn't have a care in the world. The manager come out a couple minutes later to finally take a order for myself and my daughter. I explained to her what her crew was doing. She was apologetic and the young man kept staring at me in the mirror. I asked If he had something to say and he started staring at my almost 13 year old daughter. He replied I'm not looking at you. I asked if he was looking at my child. He just kept staring. Not saying a word. It made myself along with my daughter feel very uncomfortable. The manager told him to Do his job and quit looking. Then the young girls looked at myself and my daughter and lipped F--K YOU. 1 of the young girls told another to do something to our food if possible. Braum's is a fast and convenient place to grab dinner or ice cream treats. Value meals all come with a shake or soda. Shakes are hand-dipped and made fresh when ordered. The burgers are cooked nicely and taste good. I love their frozen yogurt cones and they are cheap to boot! Going inside of the store allows you to see all of the ice cream options in the case. I mistakenly didn't ask for no almonds when ordering a sundae recently and they remade the sundae without question. They don't always have someone working the market register, but send someone over quickly when someone is ready to check out. read more

There is nothing better then a frozen yogurt twist in a waffle cone. My husband and I make many trips just for the ice cream. I am usually weary about going too late though because if they have sold a lot of yogurt then then yogurt usually ends up runny and not the great consistency that you are expecting to get. The food is good, because it's Bram's. The service is rude and disrespectful. For years I have lived in the area of this establishment. I come about once a month to get food, and the service is ALWAYS rude. This trip the staff member was especially mean. She commented angrily to a coworker about "always getting busy at closing". Then she glared at my husband and I and spoke to us very curtly. Another customer ordered a burger without onions and they stuck onions on top of the bun. I will no longer visit this establishment. I would give them a zero if possible. If you are going get ice cream at the ice cream counter, they will wait on you. If you go to purchase anything from the store side you have to beg them to wait on you and then they think they are doing you a favor. Tonight at 6:30 I went to purchase ice cream from the store side. I got my ice cream and then I walked to the back wall where the milk is. There were 2 employees back there chatting. I walked by them looking for cream, but could not find it. Neither employee said hi to me or asked if they could help me. I gave up and walked back by them and up to the counter to pay. Again neither employee acknowledged me. I than started waving my arms and neither the 2 employees in the back by the milk or the employees behind the counter including the asst manager acknowledged me. I made eye contact with the asst manager while waving my arms and she ignored me. It took me banging on the counter before a young man behind the ice cream counter standing next to the asst manager acknowledged me. I ask for help and he said that was not his area and then pointed to the 2 employees in the back by the milk and said it was theirs. One employee from the back by the milk finally approached me and did not apologize. I asked her if she did not want to wait on me. She said that she and the other employee where talking about the schedule and her getting off at 8pm.. I told her I did not care, her job is to wait on customers. Than the other employee came up and ask why I was banging on the counter and asked what my problem was. I told her is this how you treat a customer. She said she was sorry she was only teasing. At this point i did not want the ice cream and asked to speak to the manager. I told her what had happened and she said I was attacking her and her employees, I said attacking her employees? She retracted and said verbally attacking her employees..(I guess asking for someone to check me out is verbally attacking her employees. She did finally say SORRY, but it was clear that she did not mean it or cared. Now that is good customer relations. When she heard the banging on the counter, she should have gone to see what the problem was. I ask for the managers number, she said she could not give out that information, but I could call the store in the morning. I wrote down her name and the 2 female employees, She was reluctant to give out the managers first name but finally gave it to me. This store has lost me as a customer. I will drive across town to another Braums before I step foot in this store again. read more
