Food: 4/5 Service: self service. Ambiance: 4/5 The baked goods were all flavorful, buttery, and fresh. It's self-service for the most part with the fancy cold desserts being served out of a counter with employee assistance. They have some good measures in place to keep things clean and tidy as well as avoid contamination i.e., sliding pastry cupboard doors, tongs, and tissue paper. The vibe gives original Starbucks meets clean cafe meets Luke's from Gilmore Girls. Overall I will be back and this is probably going to me my go to for nicer bakery fare. Try it, you probably will be pleasantly surprised.

Oh Paris baguette how I love you so! I started this addiction on DoorDash and then in person it was even better(or worse). It is a good thing I stay active and eat so healthy at home or I'd be in trouble! Thank you for your delicious goodies!

Gave this place a second try the other day and pastries were dry and tough to eat. Got them to go so couldn't do anything about it at the time. The service behind the register is still grumpy and slow. Not really sure why the employees hate working here (unless they're force fed the tough pastries). It's very loud inside which isn't very pleasant, so I wouldn't want to stay here long. As far as a "European Bakery" I'm not sure where they get that from considering you find better (and freshly made) pastries at a gas station in Europe. I suppose they could be referring to the cold customer service you find across much of Europe. Places like this only go to show you that if you open a new place in a nicer part of town and charge too much for your product, Wichita will go nuts.

Good selections. Tasty treats... I went in the evening around 8pm and very cold night, there are quite a few selections left. Then next moi went back to get more. I will definitely go back for more. Friendly service as well. The place is clean and enough place to sit down and enjoy the food. There are outdoor seatings too.. with the nice weather it would be great.

Nice bakery and atmosphere. A variety of selections to choose from and they're all unique. A little pricey but it is a new bakery in a suburb neighborhood so it's expected. Service was quick and workers were willing to help answer questions!

It's a cute, quieter place to meet a friend. Pastries are fabulous and the drinks are great too! Only downside is pricing.

My second rule is if it's an ice cream shop or a bakery or a breakfast / lunch spot.... the score goes down because the coffee is usually and afterthought. Well this place broke all of the rules.... BOTH THE BAKERY IS EPIC AND THE COFFEE IS EVEN BETTER! The only thing I didn't like is there is just so much pride stuff. I get it - I'm from the FL keys which used to be one of the main places for LGBT communities (back in the day it was only LGBT). Key West / San Fran and Province Town - those were the only true open communities. But now it's nationwide and it's actually world wide for the most part. From my viewpoints LGB is 100% just part of society and we don't have much flag waiving in the keys because nobody cares - we are all just one big family. It didn't take away from the expense it was just a little too forward.

It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!

It has a tidy, cute shop space with local meat, bakery goods, gluten free options, art, soap and other goodies just like its parent shop. Decor is white and black and tastefully simple. Food-wise, we enjoyed our drinks (iced caramel apple chai with boba and a Café au lait) and baked goods while we sat on the sunporch playing Uno. (See the business owner's note about the cool game room below this review.) I see that they have soup, burritos and flights of drinks and I definitely want to hit that up next time. Service was great; there was one lady running the shop on this rainy Saturday and she was very friendly and helpful, greeting us cheerily when we entered the shop and bringing our drinks to us on the second floor later. The Google page says that the shop has wheelchair access but I admit I didn't see it--perhaps there are other entrances with a ramp, but none that are immediately noticeable, This is an old Victorian house with most of the seating on the second and third floors with steep staircases, but there is a table and limited bar seating on the first floor. It's probably not the greatest place for handicapped folks, but it's a lovely shop and I hope all feel welcome. Hi

Simply the gratitude of it being present in middle America sets me up to have a good experience. Someone complained in a review about the "false advertisement" of having shaved ice as most Americans know it. It's hilarious to be that they assumed it to be what they know as shaved ice. If they had tried the Asian shaved ice, I guarantee they'd enjoy it and wouldn't have complained. If you know about other culture's shaved ice, you're open to try new things and let yourself be surprised. I digress. The shaved ice found here is the Korean version, Bingsu. It's very similar to other styles, but this one is mostly milk based. The menu is pretty extensive, including smoothies, yogurt, juice, coffee, boba tea, and of course shaved ice cream. We came for the shaved ice cream, so we tried the strawberry & mango first. It mixed the two, which surprised me since I had assumed it would be half and half separated. The combination worked beautifully. There was whipped cream, strawberry and mango syrup on top and we asked for mango popping boba. It was so delicious! The best way I can describe it is a feathery texture that melts in your mouth. We also tried the coconut one which came with condensed milk and coconut shavings. We also added strawberry popping boba. Highly recommend either/bob. Since the consistency is light and fluffy, even though the portions are generous, you don't feel stuffed afterwards. The place is spacious and has tall ceiling, making it very open. There's seating available on both floors. I enjoyed the Korean music playing and the tv translating the lyrics. The volume was just right (as opposed to some reviews out there complaining it was too loud). I probably wouldn't try to make calls inside though. The guy at the counter was super nice. He kept smiling really big the whole time he talked to us. Made me smile too. He also told us about the Korean cheesecake they have for sale. It looked delicious and fluffy so I got the coffee one. It was more of a sponge cake than cheesecake but it was delicious. Highly recommend.
