From the receptionists that are extremely helpful with booking appointments and addressing insurance concerns, to the dentist and hygienist themselves taking their time to explain the serves being completed prior, my experiences are always great after every visit. My experience left me concerned about both the accuracy of the diagnosis provided and the overall handling of my case by one of the Dentist Guillermo Cortes and his wife also a dentist During my appointment, I was given a treatment plan that was submitted to my dental insurance company for pre-determination. However, this request was denied. This outcome raises serious concerns for me, as I relied on your professional judgment when the recommendation was made. The discrepancy between the dentists diagnosis and the insurance company's determination suggests that the proposed treatment may not have been appropriate I had to Research and find a dental procedure called the Maryland Bridge which I feel and the dentists would have been reliable dental procedure in my situation the doctor should have brought it up on the initial consultation Additionally, I sought care for a tooth with a broken root Buried beneath the gums that required attention. I informed your office of my medical history, including radiation treatment to the right side of my jaw approximately eight years ago. Despite this, no meaningful treatment was performed by Guillermo Cortez. I was left with the impression that Guillermo Cortes unwillingness to proceed with the extraction due to this history he was afraid Despite all his training. While I understand that prior radiation can complicate dental procedures, I expected either a clear treatment plan, proper referral to a specialist, or definitive guidance on how to proceed safely With the extraction using antibiotics to provide infection and careful monitoring of the gums after the extraction Instead, I left the appointments feeling that my time had been wasted and that my dental issue remains unresolved. No treatment was completed, no alternative plan was clearly established, and no referral was provided to address my condition appropriately. As a patient, I expect clear communication, accurate diagnosis, and a proactive approach to care--especially when there are known medical complexities involved I was simply told we won't do it. a Additionally the office seems to be a bit in disarray because insurance lady left recently and is no longer employed there. now one of the dentists is handling all insurance filings claims and predeterminations. I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office, and I honestly felt like they were…read moretrying to scare me into paying for unnecessary and very expensive treatments. I only had a small piece of my tooth chipped and went in expecting to have it repaired with a filling. Instead, I was told that I needed a root canal and a crown, which would cost nearly $4,000 with insurance. They also presented me with multiple payment plans. On top of that, they told me that I needed two bridges for the teeth next to it, suggesting that otherwise I could lose my natural teeth. That treatment was quoted at nearly $6,000. Without insurance, they told me the total could be around $17,000-$18,000. What made me even more uncomfortable was that when I said I wanted to get a second opinion and compare prices elsewhere, they told me to call them afterward and let them know what the other dentist charged so they could see if they could match the price. This made me seriously question their recommendations and whether the treatments were truly necessary. I then went to the dental office where I had previously gotten my teeth cleaned, and their assessment was completely different. They told me that I only needed a filling. They explained that the chip was very close to the nerve, so if I experienced significant pain after the filling, I should contact them because further treatment might then be necessary. They charged me only $175 for the filling plus a $50 fee because I didn't have an appointment. I also asked if there was anything else I needed to take care of. They said I had four other teeth that could eventually use fillings, but none of them were urgent or dangerous, so I could take care of them gradually. The total for all was about $2,100 without insurance. I'm not a dentist, so I can't say for certain which treatment was medically necessary. However, the huge difference between the two evaluations and prices was enough to make me very uncomfortable. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to expensive dental procedures, especially when you feel pressured or frightened into making a decision

Attention is good and dental office is clean…read more However, they couldn't keep their own promises regarding charges or make sense of the billing. After being told and agreeing to one thing and receiving billings in the mail weeks after for additional payments I just gave up and paid the balance then closed the account. They said this is the fault of a person that no longer works there, etc. but for me, it was enough. Left not being a happy customer at all. I do realize that dental care is expensive but if you do the same procedure (a maintenance/cleaning in a fix frequency schedule with no other additions) you should expect a somewhat consistent billing and not unexpected surprises in the mail after a while.

This facility STRANGELY charges a whopping $65 fee JUST TO "SEND" medications that patients need from this dentist office to ANY pharmacy. Some of the staff weirdly stared at me like seeing a ghost while I was sitting in the lobby. They probably labeled me as different. Super ridiculous this place and extremely disorganized. Just SUPER unusual the entire experience. They don't like doing 4pm appointments either so they could go home early.
