If you know me, you know I love Mexican food. I stopped by here a few days ago. It was not overly busy, so I was honestly in and out within about 30 minutes. It was just me dining. I ordered a sweet tea, which I absolutely loved, but to be honest I cannot remember exactly what I ordered for food. It was something from the lunch menu. I want to say it might have been a number 3, but don't quote me on that. It has been a couple of days and I forgot to write this review earlier, so sorry about that. We were meeting friends for dinner and the location was right for all. We were greeted promptly and professionally and taken to our table. The atmosphere inside definitely points toward the building's previous life as a different restaurant. Interior seemed dark and less inviting than many of their competitors. Most, but not all of the food came out together and all food was hot upon arrival but cooled while we waited on the last guest's dish. Between my dish and sampling others it seems the cook is a little heavy handed with the salt shaker. I'd much rather add salt if needed than to have the food come out already salty. I just stopped in for a margarita but I asked if they made their margaritas fresh, not from a mix. The waitress said they did but what I got had clearly been made from a mix and was so sweet I couldn't drink it. When I told the waitress she was very nice and said maybe I would like the Texas margarita because it wasn't sweet. I said okay and she went to get the manager but when he came out he refused to make my drink over again and just poured more orange juice and sour into the margarita I already had. I told him I didn't want that and after going back and forth with me for a bit I just told him to give me the check. The waitress came over and apologized to me saying he wouldn't let her make me a new drink and she was really sorry. I was really surprised by how short sighted this manager is. Not only do I tip big but I would have stayed for at least another margarita and added shot so he lost a customer and triple the money he could have made. I on the other hand had to pay for a drink I did not drink and I will NEVER come back here. read more

Went and checked this place out. We normally frequent a different Mexican Restaurant in the area but wanted to try this place. It's in the old Ruby Tuesday by the mall. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The Staff was very nice and welcoming and very attentive. We got the complimentary chips and they were very nice and crisp and warm, the salsa and white sauce were delicious. I ordered a side of queso and it was a large portion and very delicious as well. The Arroz con pollo lunch portion came and it was very large. Also it comes with lettuce, guac, tomato and sour cream, however the individual with me did not want it. I ordered the Steak Fajita Salad with fajita veggies added and it was DELICIOUS and a very generous portion. The prices are reasonable as well. Will definitely be back. read more

You aren't all Crammed together like the other branches that they have! So I was so excited to give this new place a try!! My first trip went very well! But the 2nd trip NOT SO WELL!!!! They brought out the wrong food for my husband and then I was looking at my quesadilla to make sure mine was made right. As I was looking inside my quesadilla, I FOUND A THICK DARK BEARD HAIR (I'm hoping that's where it came fromeven though I wish it wasn't in my food period) mixed in with my shredded chicken on my quesadilla !!!!! And I told my server and he didn't even apologize and he didn't even get a manager to come speak to me! They just acted as if this was something normal like giving someone the wrong food!!!! No discount no apologize NOTHING!!!! They just made another quesadilla and that was it!! I thought maybe the receipt would have like a percentage off or something or they would not have charged me for that dish but NOTHING!!! & they also do not have their Liquor license yet and it is taking forever it's been over two months and they still do not have it!!! I have visited this establishment for dine in and carryout on numerous occasions and have never had an issue until now. I placed an order for carryout via the doordash app. Arrived to the restaurant and waited for the notification that the order was ready and sent my husband in with a screenshot of the order. Jose gave him a hard time about picking the order up so I went inside and he proceeded to give me a hard time stating people like me steal and that he has to protect his business. Why he felt the need to tell me that I don't know because I clearly placed and paid for the order. He kept asking for a confirmation number well doordash doesn't provide one I can only show you my receipt that I have on my app After I showed him my doordash order receipt and showed him my id he still says well I don't know if it's yours then finally states okay I guess it's yours but people steal. Jose provided terrible customer service, so we get scrutinized and embarrassed because other people of our race steal. Definitely will not spend my hard earn dollars in this establishment anymore. When this restaurant first opened we frequently went there and have always had great service that has definitely gone downhill. My family decided to give this restaurant a try last night. We were pleasantly surprised! Upon entering, the restaurant , it is nicely decorated, and we were greeted by a very friendly worker. The chips and salsa was really good, and the food, delicious. I had the grand sampler, my husband, the arroz con camarones, my daughter, cheese quesadillas with rice, and her friend, the shrimp fajitas.
