Join for their electric taco experience with a full flavor rush of tacos. I parked in a nearby lot and learned that the digital parking pass is monitored until 10 p.m. However, the rate is cheap for the day. The restaurant is located inside the precarious beer hall towards the back. There is plenty of seating and food options. I ordered the spicy beef and camarones (shrimp). The shrimp was my favorite and the beef isn't too spicy at all. The flavors were flavorful and yummy. I really enjoyed the frozen lemonade as well which had a good texture and frozen appeal. This is a great spot for a few quick bites and is open late until 11 p.m.

We dined here last night - overall experience was great. The atmosphere, the games and great craft beer were exactly what we were looking for. My husband had one of the best lagers he's had! We ordered from electric circus and our food was good but cold. We had the carne asada tacos, a chicken tinga taco, two street corn and an order of nachos. The flavor of the food was exceptional, it was just quite cold and it really wasn't busy at all. The nachos were great (probably our favorite), the carne asada tacos were better than the chicken tinga, and the street corn was tasty.

They are located inside Precarious Brewery. I had the carne asada tacos- so good! The street corn was amazing! The wings were pretty good but not the best I've ever had. The server was so friendly! Definitely eat here when coming to Williamsburg!

We had a day with nothing planned and decided to head to Williamsburg to enjoy the decorations. Since we got there right at lunch we headed over to the Precarious Beer Hall to grab some tacos. That was great choice. Between three of us we had chips and salsa (the salsa was bland), and then catfish, chorizo, ground beef, carnitas and chicken tacos. The only one of the tacos that wasn't great was the gringa taco - nothing wrong with it, just a little plain. My favorite was the chorizo - spicy and delicious. And the carrot ferment hot sauce was . We also had some beer and cider. Please note - we got there right at 11:30 and it wasn't too busy. When we went by around 3 it was mobbed!

This place was on our list to try. I'm glad we had the opportunity to check them out. Electric Circus Taco Bar is located inside Precarious Beer Hall. There are a few other places you can eat at inside. Seating is plentiful. There is a small outdoor seating area, couch seating and table seating throughout. Most of the tacos are $4.95. Pretty reasonable. The beef bulgogi was my absolute favorite! The flavors blended well together. We also had some standard beef tacos, pork carnitas, shrimp, pork belly, papas bravas, nachos and a churro. The nachos were fantastic as well. Staff was helpful, patient and attentive. They were definitely working hard to crank out the food. Overall, they are pretty good. The area is a tad loud and overwhelming especially on a high traffic day.

Catfish, Chicken, Beef, and Smashville Hot Tacos

We love street tacos, and we found some creatively prepared at the Electric Circus Taco Bar, which is located in the Precarious Beer Hall in Williamsburg's Merchants Square. The prices are good, and the atmosphere is lots of fun. They have all types of games to play--like pinball machines, skee-ball, basketball, virtual driving, and more. We ordered and really enjoyed four tacos: catfish, chicken, beef, and smashville hot chicken. The catfish was fried with cabbage and red onion. The grilled chicken was surprisingly cold, though flavorful with pico de gallo, lettuce and cheese. The beef was pretty standard for a beef taco. The smashville was like a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. So yummy!! You can choose from corn or flour tortillas. They also have a station where they offer two salsas--both of which were hot and spicy. You could order any of their many beers and ciders. They also had wine, margaritas, and sodas. Plus, there was a water bottle (or cup) refill station in the restaurant. We went on a January afternoon when William & Mary wasn't back in session yet, and it was pretty quiet. It's usually hopping and busy. They also have outdoor tables with fire pits. In addition to the taco stand, they have a smashburgers counter. We plan to try the burgers next time.

    Nachos / Quesadilla

Nachos were to die for, quesadilla had lots of tasty fillings!! We will be back to try the tacos also, try the mango habanero sauce!!

Fish and carne asada tacos, really small and tasty as hell

I stopped in for a quick bite and I had the fish and carne asada tacos. They're a bit too small but they're amazing. I'm not sure what's the sauce they use for the tacos but it's tasty and goes well with cotija cheese. The small size of tacos is the only thing keeping me away from 5 stars. I noticed they have a tacos Tuesday special - $10 for 2 tacos, chips and beer which is fantastic deal. If I was local, I would come regularly.

Williamsburg Virginia offers a plethora of food options for locals and visitors alike. Of course, as is usually the case, the locals have the advantage of knowing the best spots. While 'best' is a matter of opinion based on a multitude of factors, I hope to give you an accurate picture of what this restaurant is like, thus allowing you to decide whether to eat there. Firstly, the food was fast. Keep in mind though that my wife and I went around 2pm and, thus, there were not a ton of people. Evenso, we have been here before when it was packed and I fairly clearly recall that our food came out in a timely fashion then as well. Our tacos were also very good. As the pictures of the menus indicate, there are some flavorful options. My one regret is that both of their hot sauce options had soybean oil (at least at the time of my last visit) which I must avoid. Thus, I could not try either. Still, the tacos were stand-alone delicious and, therefore, I will definitely be visiting again. The food was worth it. Lastly, the atmosphere is similar to an arcade/family-geared bar/restaurant - definitely a jovial ambience; keep in mind that it is generally not suitable for quiet conversation unless you find outdoor seating since it can get pretty loud in there. The inside offers a bar with multiple beer choices as well for those that drink. The service was good, the ambience fun; the food amazing!

    Cheeseburger in Paradise burrito

If you are looking for a quiet lunch or dinner, don't come looking here. This place will smack you in the face with sound and lights as soon as you walk through the Precarious Beer Hall doors! Give the food a chance and it, too, will smack you in the face! We stopped in around 1 on a Saturday after walking through Colonial Williamsburg. They have signs at the doors to let you know the place is essentially a free-for-all. Find your own table, order beers at the bar and food at the taco stand, which is hard to miss with bright neon signs. They offer a variety of tacos (which you can order as a bowl), sides, sweets and burritos. I opted for the Ropa Vieja (pulled beef) with rice, black beans, queso fresco and cilantro. Hubby had the Cheeseburger in Paradise burrito, which was served with tortilla chips. They have a salsa and utensil bar in a corner near the stand. My bowl was fantastic - full of flavor with just a little bit of heat, my preferred level. Hubby literally called the burrito "the best I've ever had." Our only critique is that the chips were way too salty. The atmosphere itself is great if you want entertainment during your visit - tons of arcade games, air hockey, basketball. It was definitely loud and may be a little overwhelming for some, but the food is phenomenal. We would definitely come back if in the area!

The service was friendly and very informative, which was nice as we made decisions. The ambience was also excellent; we sat outside, but would've been happy to sit inside in the lively dining room. The standout dish of the meal was the baked Chincoteague clams. These were flavored with Thai green curry and were excellent bites. The smoked pork taco was also very much a stand out, the smoked flavors contrasted well with the freshness and it relief belt as if this taco provided bang for buck. The other dishes were well executed. A crab gazpacho with grape and other aromatic flavors as the base was well done but there was not much crab and so did not feel as if it was a particularly worthwhile dish to get. The grape flavor was also somewhat too prominent for my liking, but the dish was refreshing and light as promised. The brussels sprouts were solid but not particularly memorable. The oyster taco was slightly overburdened by slaw and proved somewhat more tangy than what was called. I would definitely come back for the clams and the smoked pork taco and would be interested to taste the raw preparations as well as the fried chicken taco next time.

So, let's find out how the visit went. There weren't a lot of people inside and there was only one waitress attending to tables. They have a bar area, tables and booths. We decided to eat near the entrance to their supermarket. It took a while for us to roam through the menu, but decided on what we wanted a few minutes after getting seates. I chose a 1/2 chicken with two sides (fried yucca and french fries). The Peruvian chicken was pretty good and flavorful. Both the fried yucca and fries could've been seasoned more, but were plentiful. I actually saved half of my meal for takeout and tasted well for dinner. Unfortunately, the bad part of our visit was the decor. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which has seen better days. Seats at the booth are torn up.....literally. The tables are outdated. The floor is in pretty bad shape, especially near the bar area. And in the bathroom, the paper towel dispenser was not connected to the wall and instead, laying on the floor. It's not comfortable washing your hands and then turning it sideways where you can get paper. I really don't mean to sound mean,, but the decor alone would turn folks away. It needs a big renovation all around. Hopefully, down the road, they can upgrade or they may become a thing of the past :(

Unfortunately, I can't say I'm likely to ever go back. Went there with my GF and mom on a Thursday night. Breaking iot down: 1. This place is SOOOOOPER loud. I mean, it would be loud enough with just a lot of people talking in a close space that apparently has no acoustic deadening, but for some reason the management thought there needed to be pounding trance music as well. Can't carry on a conversation. Can't hear the waitstaff. Stupidly loud. 2. The service was good. They coulda been a little faster with the initial greeting, but it was generally good overall. 3. The food is fine. Tasty and well-presented. It's pretty F-ing expensive for what you get, but it *is* an upscale tapas place, so there you go. Just know that going in: you're gonna spend a lot of $ for not a ton of food. If they could somehow fix the noise problem I might be back, but right now the downs outweigh the ups. By a lot.
