We spent about 30K on the flooring after they up-charged us on concrete to level the floors because if we didn't then the warranty would not be in place. Within a year the flooring by my pantry started to come apart. We ignored it but after a while we found more flooring has come apart going into the living room and hallway. I finally called My Flooring Guy for help. They told me the warranty on their work only lasted a year. The 30 year warranty was by the manufacturer. However they would have someone call me to see if it was covered. No one called. I called again. This time they gave me an email address to send pictures of the problem. I did so but again no answer. These floors were supposed to last but apparently they don't and this company doesn't stand by their work. Do not go with this company or you will regret it. I will be having someone come out to try to fix my floors and will look into legal action if possible. So much money wasted. Thanks for nothing My Flooring Guy.

He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I know I said it a lot but I really love the excellent job you did! I am so happy with the outcome. I love my floors and give OC Hardwood the highest praise possible!!! After looking into each of the companies through the CSLB website, we found out that only four of them had a valid contractors license. We felt very comfortable with George, the owner of Jace. He has vast knowledge of hardwood floors with years of experience, has a friendly demeanor, and is a fellow dog rescuer. One of the other reviews mentions a customer's satisfaction with Jace's refinishing of their 100 years old floors. Though his quote was not the lowest, we chose quality over price. And we are so happy we did. Carlos, the lead tech on our project is also very knowledgeable and approachable. He answered all of our questions, and explained everything they were doing throughout the various stages of the process. Carlos's assistant, Jair is friendly and a hard worker. After the work was completed, Mike came to inspect the work, and grout the transition from our Dining Room to our kitchen. I didn't even have to ask them to do this. George suggested it to replace the ugly molding that was previously there, and on which we would frequently stub our toes. Mike returned a second time to drop off a complementary Bona cleaning kit. Their sales staff was courteous, fast, and efficient - I talked to Marcelo who was prompt in his responses and gave me a lot of confident to close the deal w Bravo. He showed me their portfolio right away and I couldn't believe that my garage could go from 'trash to treasure'. The day of the service went exactly how it was described - this strong and super nice guy called Ricardo showed up very early and w/o further ado, started doing the work. He moved all my appliances with care (washer/dryer), moved the bikes, and jet ski... (I mean, he did above and beyond). I left to work and when I came back...Voila... We got a few different…read morequotes for this service, and one company even said that epoxy floors would not be great if using the garage for a gym (which we intend to) and that discoloration could occur if using floor mats for more than 30 days. Having been told that, we decided to not do the garage floors and when Ray followed up with us about the quote we got from them, we explained this was our reason why. Long story short, they assured us that many of their clients have gym equipment and mats on their floors without any issues should we decide to change our minds. With that, and after being able to discuss our budget for the project, we went ahead and booked them. The process was very easy with lots of communication and reminders. The project was scheduled for the exact day we had in mind to do it and was done in 1-day. The 2 workers who came to do the garage itself were very professional and did an outstanding job. Overall, we are very pleased about having our garage floor done and could not be happier with how they turned out. A few pointers if it helps anyone else - I wanted to pay cash but had to use another method (no big deal). Also, we did not occupy the residence yet and it took us by surprise that we had to keep the garage cracked open for a few days - not a big deal either but would just have been helpful to know ahead of time so we could plan accordingly. We bought a few wood pallets and placed in front of the garage to protect the floor from any bugs, dust, leaves, etc. and for peace of mind since we did not live in the home yet.

I had asked them not use certain outlets as they would flip the breaker. They acknowledged the request and still used the outlet flipping the breaker. In turn shutting power off through my house. Causing food to spoil. After the service was complete the installers had missed several spots with their final coating. They sent someone out and they patched some of the spots. During installation I had also mentioned not to go over some fence holes we use for our garage. This fence is removable like a pool fence. We use it for our dogs when I went to reinstall the fence they had not covered the holes and material had gotten in the hole and now my fence won't go back in. I had text dialogue and the salesperson sam said e would send some out. Then crickets no response. I can't get my garage back in order. I will need to have another contractor come out which then I will need to make a claim on their bond with the state. I would stay away from this company.

I reached out to at least 20 different epoxy companies, and he worked hard to give me the most competitive quote. I'm extremely happy with how it all turned out. Our garage had existing tiles that were glued on, and I was looking for the cheapest way to epoxy. Worried about the cost, he found a solution that worked best which was to epoxy over the tiles since they were really stuck onto the concrete below. A couple other tricky areas were (1) there was carpet glued onto the stairs in the garage, (2) there was existing cabinets that required epoxy to go around, and (3) there was a small closet in the back of the garage. He said no problem to all, and that he can remove it as part of the work scope and price he quoted. Within 3 days after meeting him in person, he sent one of his guys, Ernesto, to epoxy. Ernesto was so friendly and showed up on time. Throughout the process, I would check in from time to time and he worked hard to get it all done that same day. He came around 9:00am and finished the job around 5:30pm. My garage flooring looks so nice and modern now. Overall, I highly recommend Filiberto and his team. Incredible work all around, and I'd would happily hire them again.

At the time, we were in the middle of construction on our home and made a last-minute decision to epoxy the garage floor. After watching countless YouTube videos, we briefly considered tackling the project ourselves. Thankfully, we came to our senses and decided to hire a professional. We chose Creative Epoxy Coating based entirely on their outstanding Yelp reviews, and they absolutely lived up to the praise. From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. So far it's holding up very well, and it's been almost a year. We park the cars on the floor every night, but you would never know it. Another thing I like so far is that the coating extends beyond the garage door and is exposed to sunlight. No discoloration at all!
