I've used these guys for two-two car garage floors. They do great work and finish same day. The owners clear coat doesn't yellow because his wife is a chemistry teacher and created their own clear coat that will never yellow on epoxy. That's some next level quality right there. I'm not sure why or when this industry came about. Growing up we always had bare concrete floors. You don't walk on it and it's for where your car is so who cares? I started to walk barefoot inside the garage when leaving the house just to grab a thing or two from the car, and your feet definitely do feel a little dusty. Perhaps a coating will make things better. I did some research and called around for garage flooring coating. I actually found these guys doing my own search on the maps. The price here was actually competitive and on par with the other installers. They certainly were not the cheapest, but also their prices were competitive with everyone else. Other places wanted to upcharge like $125 to have glitter added. Glitter is literally only a few bucks to add to the polyaspartic coating. Our installers, Francisco and Martin came here and finished the prep and installed in half a day. They did a great job with taking care of to protect the side walls. We let our floor cure for about a week before moving our stuff back in, though they said it would be okay within 3 days. read more

It's been a few years and now I finally feel safe leaving this review because John the owner is nothing but an absolute PSYCHOPATH. Seriously, one of the most terrifying people I have ever had to deal with. What's truly scary about him is how seemingly nice he is at first. Reasonable quote, nice crew. But then he flips. On the day in question, it was taking too long for the epoxy to dry. It was going to have to take place over two days, but John demanded payment on day one, before the job was complete. I have a two car garage and went with the charcoal color scheme. They texted me about 30 mins prior to showing up and the two technicians showed up right on time at 9am and were done a little after 3pm. There was some surface prep and crack filling they completed before laying down the base layer and chips. After it had set they came back from lunch and put down the clear coat. The gentlemen were professional and knowledgeable of the product when answering some questions I had before they got to work. This is not hardware store-quality application. It's industrial grade and robust. I had to move some very heavy metal cabinetry in after it had cured and despite my best efforts to protect the new surface with moving blankets, there were times where the cabinet boxes made contact directly with the floor and it didn't even leave a mark. Again, this stuff is solid and I am very impressed with the quality. Pricing was very much competitive and better than some contractors that were less popular and had poorer reviews. I sent a request for a quote. I did get an immediate response from the owner. A very detailed response with more than I expected (much of it was standard sales template language. However, the part of the response that was not standard sales template language (e.g., we are the best and cheapest) that was in response to me specifically was related to my uneducated inquiry on materials. Me: "I am interested in a quote for a 2 car garage floor epoxy floor (or polycuramine - Rocksolid if that is possible) ..." Owner: "You are kidding right Polycuramine - Rocksolid! I don't use the DYI [editorial comment: Do it Yourself - DIY ]. I only use professional grade products." This was followed by a bunch of wonderful statistics including how much he invoices a month in garages and how other company may cheat me. As a non-professional floor person, I was reaching out to a professional for help not as interpreted: "Dah! your an idiot for suggesting that material. I am better than that. Not a positive way to start a new relationship with a contractor. Update: I think the viewers can read your response sir and see why I posted a poor review. I've known about John and CA Resurfacing for a couple of years. We've texted about questions and prices for my garages since before Covid, but my schedule was always too busy. We finally chose a date this March 6, 2025 after I emptied years of junk from my garage. We agreed on a price for a standard two car garage with stem walls, to be coated with a gray epoxy base and "Earth" themed flakes from his website, and topped off with a polyaspartic. I should add my residential install comes with a 10 year warranty, and I was further assured that they rarely have any call backs for anything major. His guys Marc and Dave arrived on time, and after we walked the job and he answered some questions, they went to work. There were a couple of items that I needed help moving out of the garage (a band saw and a large armoire cabinet) and these guys knocked it out quickly. Dave and I moved the other items and Marc got the grinder ready. They were very quick, but didn't skip any areas on the floor. They finished up the edges with a hand held grinder, and then began to clean up the floors with a fancy vac. There was little to no dust in the air from the grinding using the large machine, but it was loud. The stems walls and flake were done first, followed by the floor and flake before they took off for lunch. An hour later, they returned to clean up the loose flake and start applying the final top coat to the stem walls and then the floor. Dave surprised me with a little gift of grinding some old stains off my concrete driveway with his handheld after he finished cleaning up while he waited for Marc to finish rolling out the floor. These guys are top notch, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new floor. They even applied some plastic over the garage door to ensure wind and water were kept out while it dries, and they did so literally seconds before the rain dumped on us! Great guys, great owner offering a great product - you will not be disappointed. Give them a call and get a quote. You will find they are the lowest price everywhere, which is why they have the bulk of happy customers in SoCal. Update: 03-13-24 - I waited a few days for the clear to cure, and when I went to open my side door, it was stuck. This was not the fault of anyone but mine. But that didn't matter to John - he quickly reassured me that he would send out Chris to resolve my issue. The next morning, Chris came out and sanded the small area, then applied a new top coat. So today, the floor is crystal clear, and a new door has been installed to mitigate any other issues with water. Thank you John for your wonderful customer service!
