I made reservations early to celebrate my son's graduation from MSU. We were on time and they had the table ready. Our reservation were made for 12 and the server was nice. When we go out to restaurants we tyically hand over a list of allergies my youngest son has, it is just easier for the server to take. Gluten, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy Protein, Shell Fish. The server read it and took it back. My son ordered the steak and wanted mashed potatoes. Server came back and said he could not have them and recommended veggies. I ordered the Fra Diavolo which was spicy and good. My son's steak was decent but wished he could have had the mashed potatoes. We asked if he can have the sweet potatoes and she went to the manager and she came back and verified if he can have dairy. We verfied and indicated that he could have dairy. They made the sweet potatoes for him but I didn't think any dairy was in it or other allergens. As lunch was winding down we looked into dessert and asked about the vanilla ice cream (to see if he can have it as sometimes it has eggs in it). She came back and asked if he could have dairy (at this point, I answered and said, we gave you a list and it doesn't list dairy so yes he can). I was getting upset. So he was able to have ice cream. Overall, for a big party, I thought the service was not great. Then when we received the check, she listed dairy as an allergen which we never indicated he had. I'm 100% sure he could have had more options to eat. The server was told twice that he was not allergic to dairy (I get being precautious is a good thing but apologize for the mistake). I could have spoken to the manager but decided not - which I now regret. I would not go back to this place. read more

We went here on a monday night and found the restaurant to be desserted and super quiet. A but eery but for a monday night not entirely unexpected. It had kind of older interiors and a vintage look to it. We were seated promptly and ordered the food quickly. We had the fried ravioli, the flatbread, pasta, chicken marsala, salmon, tiramisu and the brownie sundae and all the food was amazing! The portion sizes were huge and specially after enjoying the bread we were totally stuffed. The flavours were exactly what youd expect them to be and it was hard to stop myself from over indulging. The food tasted pretty good. My only complaint was that my $26 chicken scallopini should have come with a cup of soup or salad. For that kind of price, I would expect that to be included not an additional charge. My son got the pizza-cooked in a brick oven and was tasty. Hubby got the chicken Alfredo which he said was good but very rich. Fresh bread at the table was included. The waitress was fine. Efficient. Not overly friendly but not unpleasant. Would have loved someone with a bit more personality. She checked on us 2x during our meal. Service was fast-although there really wasn't anyone there as we went at an off time. Loved the bread, shrimp scampi was good but being from New England I am biased. The specialty drink lemon cello lemonade was outstanding. Mom enjoyed the wedding soup and she raved about the salmon. My lobster bisque was very flavorful wished the lobster pieces were bigger. The service was helpful and attentive. Atmosphere was quiet being in a shopping plaza. I had the pleasure of dining with Emma today, she was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, and provided great food and drink recommendations. The Shrimp Napoli was amazing, cooked to perfection and seasoned well. We ordered the Chicken Diavolo and Salmon Fresca, enjoyed our meal, and still had food leftover to take home. We had a party of 8 and were seated on a Saturday evening without waiting. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking for friendliness. The hostess pointed to our table and told us to sit at the end without actually walking us to our table. We ordered a few kids meals, lasagna, chicken scaloppine, chicken caprese, and the signature pasta bravo. Presentation was there but taste did not match the price. The service provided by Ben was exceptional. There were three of us and we all enjoyed our entrees. The bread and oil is extremely tasty. I usually order a second basket. This is a restaurant with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows to make a bright cheerful dining experience. The dinner salmon, pasta Bravo, and salmon salad are three of our favorites. If you enjoy patio dining, they have two spacious patios. I also highly recommend their happy hour. It is available weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There are seven food items for $7. I can make a meal out of one. There are six cocktails, sangria and house wines for $7 each. I always get a cocktail as I don't care for the house wine. We were hoping to sit outside, but sadly the patio was not open. Our server was very attentive, constantly checking in on us. The Spinach + Artichoke Dip was PHENOMENAL! The Parmesan flatbread chips that come with it paired perfectly with the dip. For my entree, I chose the Grilled Salmon Salad. We are not usually BIG on chain restaurants, but Bravo! in Lansing hit it outa the park yesterday! My wife completed her doctorate at CMU and we needed to celebrate someplace that could accommodate 10 adults and two small children. Knowing that Mt P's limited restaurant choices would be jammed plus the fact that we had folks heading home in three different directions, I thought Lansing would be a great location to dine. Little did I realize that MSU was ALSO having commencement the same day - duh! But not a problem for them here! Plus we all noticed that there were numerous large families celebrating commencements throughout the restaurant, and all parties were smoothly and efficiently served. We ordered off the menu, and our incredibly professional and accommodating server, Nick, could not have been better all around. Friendly, fast, efficient, patiently answered every question and catered to our diverse needs and requests. The food was outstanding, and we had quite the assortment, from apps which included yummy artichoke spinach dip, bread with dipping sauce and deep fried "Crispy Mozz Ravioli," to cold and crispy salads with delicious house-made dressing to every entree. Lasagna, fra diavolo, chicken caprese, scampi, pizza for the 5-year old grandson and my wife's Pasta Woozie. ALL were outstanding. Wine and soft drinks were on point and the soft drinks refilled quickly and in a timely fashion. Coffee, espresso, capucino were all freshly brewed, and Nick was even kind enough to plate, and top the cake we brought with candles. My only regret is that I had 2 $25 gift cards that I intended to use but forgot because we were all having such an incredible time! I really cannot say enough about our server, Nick, the other folks who worked with him, the chefs, the hostesses and everyone involved who did a remarkable job with a very full house of LARGE parties on this special day, making it even more memorable with a delightful dining experience. This experience was a complete disaster. Maybe, if we had gone in to the restaurant and dined it would be better. However, we had ordered our food through DoorDash. All of our food was cold. We also paid for drinks that we never got. I complained through DoorDash, and there was no way to complain for the restaurant through the app. The pasta, carbonara would have been good if it was served warm. Other than that, the food was a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, we were extremely unsatisfied with this experience. This is based on my most recent visit. I've gone for years and loved them I usually get the same thing each time and leave with leftovers that will make. E happy the next day. This time not so much: Had a girls dinner with mom and ordered pick up: Bread-0/5- Hard as a rock, so sad cause I love it!! Chopped Salad 2/5-great if you only wanted olives on it. Lobster Bisque-2/5- Cold and barely any lobster Pasta with butter-0/5- Don't know how they could overlook and not add enough butter to taste Spaghetti and Marinara- 2/5-Pasta overcooked but the marinara was good but not enough sauce. Tiramisu- 5/5- simply divine and that Carmel sauce I would buy by the bottle. $35 bucks not well spent. Will stick with dining in when back in the area. read more

My hubs and I love Bravo! They have the best Italian food outside of another local we really enjoy. I enjoyed the chicken Piccata, which I highly recommend. My hubs enjoyed his favorite pork chops dinner. Always good quality and quantity for the price. We got Jimmy as our server and he was very friendly and stayed on top of things. Visited Bravo to celebrate a 58th wedding anniversary. Two of us in the party ordered veal Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan. These plates were served without sauce topped with cheese. We like Bravo. My sister and I had dinner there on the spur of the moment, which is not usually an expression one used in context of Bravo. But being a random Tuesday night we got a table pretty quick. We waited a bit for a glass of water. So we decided to order drinks and entrées at the same time. Our waiter was pleasant enough. We were in it for the amazing food. The salmon salad is so good! My sister had Pasta Alfredo that was yummy! Our server disappeared for days at a time but I think they were pretty busy inside (we sat on the porch). When it started to rain a busboy offered to move us inside - how nice! But it was only a few drops so we weathered the weather. It's way better than Mitchell's next door. Give it a try! read more

I love Bravo. We're rating them 4.5 but I went ahead and rounded up. They are pretty consistent with their food. The service has always been great whether it's just me or a large group. They menu doesn't seam to change much, but at least what they have on the menu is done great. No lobster ravioli at moment though which is a bummer. The happy hour makes me very happy. Not just the awesome prices, but the food is to drool over. Best when it's nice out because they have outdoor seating. read more

This is a good area with good food options and today I was feeling the Italian Cuisine. Whenever I passed this place, it seemed busy. The night I ordered, extremely busy. Luckily, my order was to-go and the service was quite efficient, so I was able to get in and out, no problem. There is plenty of parking near the restaurant, and no need for paying, always a plus. We planned a Friendsgiving at Bravo!Italian Kitchen the day before Thanksgiving 2022 and the staff made it marvelous. Our normal restaurant could not accommodate us this year due to limited staff. I wish I would've gotten the name of our waiter, he had a very distinctive amazing beard and I'm sure he's the only one in the place with that type of a beard! He waited on our table of 15 people, our food arrived at the same time, it was hot, and everybody commented on how delicious it was. He refilled drinks in a timely manner and had a great attitude. They closed early but they never once made us feel pressured to get out and move on our way. We over stayed our welcome catching up with friends we had not seen in person for a year. I stopped in here for dinner one night while I was in town for a training. I sat at the bar and it wasn't very busy. I did not have a very good customer service experience with the bartender. He spent the entire time talking to a former employee who was sitting at the bar and they sat there talking negatively about other people who worked at the restaurant. I thought that was very tasteless to considering customers were up there eating. Bravo to the best of my remembrance used to have more gluten free options on their menu but this time I did not notice very many. I ended up ordering a pasta with chicken and spinach and it was very bland and dry. I would not order it again and I certainly would not put pay the steep price tag that they charged for it. Based on my past experiences going to different Bravo locations I would say this one is not 1 of their better ones. They seem like they need some retraining. read more

We sat outdoors and it was like we were forgotten! Nick was our server and he was not impressive. Two beers were ordered (there were 3 of us) and 3 waters. We all ordered the Pasta Woozie. He brought the food and we never saw him again until he brought the bill. MOST places a server will check in with you within 5 minutes of delivering your food to make sure everything is ok. He never came to refresh water, etc. The food was barely warm, though it was tasty it was very salty. We all found it odd that an Italian restaurant doesn't serve breadsticks with their entree; not even ONE! Overall, not impressed and we probably won't go back. read more

I visited your Lansing, Michigan location on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. I was served a salad with brown lettuce and it was visibly expired lettuce. I asked for the manager, at approximately 7:20 PM. The manager, Chef Jon, told our server that he was too busy to come out, but that he will be over shortly. By 8:11 PM I had asked the server three times to contact the manager as well as the main hostess and he refused to come out from the back of the restaurant area. I informed our server that we would wait for our bill until he came over to the table. She informed him of this, and he told her to tell us the bill was on him and he refused yet again to come out to talk with me at the table regarding the visibly expired lettuce, as I was hoping to share quality control concerns from the kitchen. The entire staff was aware and we even asked other employees to ask the manager to step out and speak with us, but yet he was not willing to come out and speak with me and my party. I have never received such poor service from any restaurant experience, especially when it comes to leadership. I am very disappointed with this experience as we are in town visiting for work, and this was supposed to be our celebratory dinner for the hard work we've done. I would like a regional manager to contact me. We had to contact another restaurant in the chain to get contact information due to the lack of communication at the Lansing location. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau about my experience this evening. read more

My colleagues and I came here for dinner, and I think before we even sat down, we knew we wanted dessert. I know this is an Italian restaurant, and pasta is basically one of their mainstays, but I'll let you know right now that if we're just talking about desserts, they deserve 5 stars. I got the creme brulee and it was delicious. My coworker told me I was smiling so much just staring in adoration and eating my creme brulee. I don't doubt her. That creme brulee made me incredibly happy. I also took a bite of her tiramisu, and it was good. I'm no tiramisu fan, but I must admit that it was also delicious. Whomever their pastry chef is, they know what they're doing. I got the pasta bravo, and I'll say that was a 3 stars pasta. It was fine, but didn't really spark any particular joy. Pasta is basically all carbs, so this meal needs to spark lots of joy. It should be comforting and nourishing and make me feel like I'm sinking into bed at the end of a long day. I'm not sure if it was because it was gluten free, or just one of their less good pastas. My coworker got the spaghetti pomodoro and he said it was good, so I'd give their pasta another chance. Tasteless, unremarkable, and overpriced dining at its finest! The calamari was like rubber, and the cucumbers and tomatoes in the salad were microscopic. Lunch would have been completely tasteless if it weren't for the salt. Fortunately, I had a lovely glass of ice-cold water from a glass with a quarter-inch chip on the rim. It is easy to see why the place was almost completely vacant during lunch. The service was excellent, but the food quality has dramatically deteriorated lately.
