This place was excellent! The service was great, very friendly staff both as we entered and exited. And our server was very knowledgeable of our meal choices as well. The food was so balanced in flavor and the presentation was excellent. We will definitely go there again.

Despite having grown up in the area, I recently stumbled upon Bridge Street Social while visiting and found it to be one of the better dinner spots around Dewitt/St. John's. The food we got was delicious, and the restaurant had a cozy ambiance with great service. The owner, who happened to be there when we visited, was knowledgeable about wine pairings and very accommodating and friendly. It's a great place for a date night or a get-together with a friend, and a refreshing alternative to the numerous chain restaurants in the area. The restaurant is relatively small and intimate with dimmed lighting, but you can book reservations in advance. Overall, it's probably one of the best spots I've eaten at in that area in a long time, and I will definitely be back when I'm back in town.

Get a wine flight! They are always delightful! We love BSS. The hamachi crudo was delicious. My husband ate scallops for the first time ever with his gnocchi and loved it! Thanks for another fabulous meal!

This is another one of those establishments Yelp was designed for. DeWitt isn't that far of a drive from my home, but I happened to be nearby for work. Of course I'm gonna Yelp the area and see where my fellow Yelpers are gonna take me. I'm not a wine person, but I definitely am a burger and beer connoisseur. I needed a quiet place to do a little work on the laptop too so I headed to the Bridge Street Social. I got there shortly after it opened and was seated right away. The staff were super friendly, and it's pretty obvious they love working here. I order the wagyu double cheeseburger and a beer they had on tap. I have to say everything about this burger was on point. Well seasoned smash patties, fresh ingredients, and a perfect sauce. I'm not a huge fry guy either, but even those were tasty. The interior of the business was small. There's a couple walk throughs into additional dining space from a room next door, but I'd suggest sitting in the main bar area. It's not a big space but that's where all the action is. A cozy place with friendly staff and even friendlier customers. Parking can be a little a little bit of a walk on busier nights. There's a few spots available out front, and a few more down the side, but the rest are about a block or two away in nearby downtown lots. I ended up coming back a couple nights later because I wanted to bring my GF. We drove from home which was about a 30 minute drive. It was well worth it. We got the smoked meatloaf that is OFF THE CHARTS!! Meals can be a little pricey, but it's well worth the drive and the cost. If you want a cheap meal, order off a fast food dollar menu somewhere else. You want an all around fabulous meal, great atmosphere, and friendly conversation, I'll see you at the Social!!

Bridge Street Social has great ambiance and great service. Our server Erin was polite and made sure we were comfortable. We ordered the Broccolini as a start and it tasted phenomenal. Great taste with a nice spicy blue cheese mixture. My date and I ordered the Waygu double cheese burger and the ragu pasta. The burger tasted amazing and was delicious, the fries were wayyy too salty which was a shame because they were cooked perfectly. The pasta had a great sauce but the gnocchi didn't absorb the sauce as much. Not sure if this is quality is consistent.

Pretentious bartender who really really wants to be known for being a mixologist. Don't you dare ask to modify any of his ingenious cocktail creations. I've been to many many bars in my lifetime. Nice bars, hole in the walls, distilleries, hotel bars, outdoor bars, cute little trailer-wedding bars, speakeasies. You get my point. My standards are high but i'm down wherever too. this is the first time anyone has refused to modify a drink for me. and i'm not talking about changing everything. i'm talking about swapping out mezcal for gin (there are barely any gin cocktails anymore). i've been here three or four times since the new bartender-- and i don't even sit at the bar anymore. the only redeeming quality of the place is the chef(s?) who I feel really takes care of people and makes the food with love and care and excellence. the burgers and steak are literal perfection. Le sigh. Travis if you're reading this-- Mike and I miss you!! Management, please try to get him back! The restaurant is quaint but with sufficient seating to accommodate both small and medium sized groups. There is ample parking as it is located in a downtown district. The decor is simple modern, nice clean lines every where you look. Our waitress, along with those assisting her with food and drink were abundantly pleasant and welcoming. At one point the waitress prepared to offer me and my dining companions the drink specials and I jokingly asked her if she would "freestyle them" while I beatboxed. She admitted she was horrible but was down to try! We were both horrible but the exchange was fantastic and very personable! We appreciated her and her service throughout our evening. All of the cocktails we selected were well made with high quality liquors, no complaints there! The food. The food, the food was superb! We all enjoy the presentation of our dishes, beautiful and simple! Everything tasted well balanced and flavorful served in perfect portions. Our only complaint here was the pasta in the Cacio e Pepe. It was a little heavy and thick in texture but the flavors and the lump crab made up for it! The gluten free cake was shared by the table and enough for all to feel just the tiniest bit gluttonous! I look forward to returning to Envie to check out more of their menu and perhaps be able to have the same waitress.

Our server, Will, suggested a wine that turned out to be spot-on: a dry, subtle Chardonnay, nicely chilled and presented in a granite cooler on our table like it was royalty. Loved that detail. The entrées did not disappoint. My husband had the salmon, delicately enhanced with salmoriglio, served with wild rice atop a light bed of bok choy and baby carrots--simple, fresh, and perfectly balanced. I had the crab-stuffed shrimp, which was absolutely fabulous, also with wild rice, baby carrots, and that sneaky little layer of bok choy you barely notice but totally appreciate. It was a busy Saturday night, so definitely make reservations--it's worth it. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance: lively but not loud, elegant without being stuffy--the kind of place that makes you feel justified putting on heels and lipstick just because. And a special shoutout to GM Brad, who was absolutely wonderful, along with the rest of the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming--service like that makes a great meal unforgettable. Mason absolutely ROCKED it! From the moment we arrived, Mason was incredibly hospitable, patient, kind, and attentive. He provided impeccable service and made our entire afternoon so enjoyable. But beyond his genuine kindness and exceptional service, Mason was an absolute professional when it came to wine. His knowledge of the wines, pairings, and recommendations was impressive--and every single suggestion he made was a HIT! We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Mason. He went above and beyond to make sure our group had an amazing experience, and his personality and professionalism made the afternoon even more memorable. And honestly, Sandhill Crane Winery itself deserves a solid 10 stars! The ambiance, menu, wine selection, food from Little Kitchen, and the overall layout of the restaurant and winery were fantastic. Everything came together to create such a beautiful, comfortable, and fun atmosphere for our group. There was something special about the whole experience--from the setting to the food and wine to the hospitality. Thank you SO much, Mason, for taking such great care of our crazy crew and giving us such a wonderful afternoon! And thank you to the entire Sandhill Crane Winery team for creating such an amazing place to spend an afternoon. We will absolutely be back--and we are already hoping that Mason will be there to take care of us again! 10 stars all around!

There were only four of us, but we ended up at what felt like a six-person booth/table setup. It made it a little tricky to talk with everyone, but we survived. Now listen... the bread. Oh, the bread. I have been dreaming about this bread ever since I had it. And I mean that literally, I was dreaming about the bread while I was actively eating it. It was THAT good. My pasta was delicious and had a nice kick to it. I knew it was supposed to be spicy, but even after reading the reviews I was still a little surprised by the heat. Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing. We weren't allowed to order from the regular happy hour menu and were limited to a much more expensive fixed menu. The calamari was good, but the featured Jazzleberry cocktail tasted weak and watered down. The prosciutto and melon appetizer was served with a large piece of half-burnt toast, the melon was hard and underripe, and the prosciutto was dry and sliced so thick it was difficult to cut or eat. I asked only for a replacement piece of toast, but our server brought an entire basket of focaccia instead. Since we hadn't ordered it, we assumed it was a courtesy replacement. We were surprised to find an $8 charge for the bread on our bill. This was at least our third disappointing experience. Toscana has a lovely atmosphere and wonderful live music, but the food quality and service have consistently fallen short. I truly hope they can improve because I'd like to enjoy dining here as much as I enjoy the entertainment.

About halfway through, everyone started getting hungry, so I asked my sister-in-law to pick a restaurant in Old Town that looked appealing. She chose Zoobie's because she thought she had seen it featured on a Food Network show, and the menu looked diverse enough that everyone in our group would find something they liked. Being from New Jersey, my sister-in-law firmly believes there is no good pizza outside of New Jersey or New York. Well, Zoobie's proved that great pizza can be found anywhere. I ordered the pear pizza without the meat, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors worked perfectly together, and I never felt like I was missing anything by skipping the meat. My sisters each ordered different pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them, while my nephew had a burger that disappeared quickly, which is always a good sign. My wife ordered the bruschetta and spoke so highly of it that I had to try some myself. She was right, it was delightful. Another pleasant surprise was the atmosphere. The restaurant was quite busy, with a full bar and a group celebrating some kind of event, yet the noise level remained very manageable. As someone who is sensitive to loud environments, that can make or break a dining experience, and Zoobie's got it right. For context, we visited on a weekday around 2:00 PM, so that certainly may have contributed to the comfortable atmosphere. Still, every aspect of our visit exceeded expectations. Great food, attentive service, a welcoming environment, and perhaps most impressively, pizza that won over a skeptic from New Jersey.
