We were greeted and tattooed by Travis, the owner at Savage Kat Tattoo Co in Auburn, WA! His professionalism and skills were absolutely outstanding. We got extremely lucky that he happened to be free due to a cancellation. The universe was truly looking out for us! He sat with us and listened to everything we liked, wanted and hoped for. Designed multiple options for us and modified our chosen designs until they were everything we could dream of. The designs were perfectly matching for the both of us while being tailored uniquely for our own preferences and placements. This was also my husband's first tattoo! I'm so thankful we had such a lovely experience with a tremendous artist who showed my husband everything that a tattoo appointment and experience truly should be. Travis was so great in offering advice on placement according to anatomy and future tattoo plans to ensure a perfectly done tattoo. He made sure he got our approval on everything every step of the way and clarified spelling multiple times throughout the process to guarantee no chance of mistakes or misspelling. This was a small but extremely notable thing for us and really showed how involved and invested Travis is in both his art and his clients. After each of our completed tattoos, he was kind enough to take a video and photos of our tattoos and send them to us. This was so nice. We could immediately show off to friends and family - and in way better lighting and angles then we'd have been able to get ourselves! While there, I also decided to purchase a high quality nose jewelry that Toxic, a tattoo/piercer at the shop, was even willing to put in for me. I am beyond furious with the way Pierced Hearts handled my sister's navel piercing. From the start,…read morethis experience has been a disaster due to sheer negligence and a complete lack of accountability. My sister clearly explained to the piercer, Jaime, that she has a very flat belly button and specifically asked if the standard navel jewelry would be appropriate. He confidently said yes -- and we trusted his professional judgment. That trust was completely misplaced. As time passed, the jewelry began to embed itself into her skin, which should never have happened with the right jewelry in the first place. We returned to the shop, and Adam helped change it to a floating navel piercing -- the type she should have received from day one. He apologized and even took a photo of the damage because it was obvious something had gone terribly wrong. But the damage had already been done. Within a week, she developed a severe infection -- one that urgent care later confirmed was likely due to the original jewelry creating a gaping wound that never healed properly. Despite following aftercare instructions to the letter, she ended up on two antibiotics and hydrocodone just to manage the pain. Yet when we returned to the shop a third time to request a refund and share what she was going through, the staff were incredibly dismissive and refused to take any responsibility. They immediately shifted blame, accusing her of neglecting aftercare, even though we were meticulous. No effort was made to offer a solution, express genuine concern, or show even the slightest empathy. Just said "well, do you want to get it pierced again?!" ... no! Her belly button area now is completely bruised and mangled because of this place. We will never be coming back here again. To make matters worse, the owner was outright disrespectful and condescending over the phone. When we told him that medical professionals advised removing the piercing and draining the infection, her arrogant response was, "Why would they do that?!" as if she knew better than actual doctors. That tone alone spoke volumes about how little they care once they have your money. We asked for a refund because of all the trouble we've been through after the negligence of the first piercer, now having to pay for urgent care visits and medication. I chose this shop based on their glowing reviews, but let me be clear: if you're considering any body piercing here, don't. They might be decent with ear piercings or tattoos -- but when it comes to body piercings, especially anything more complex, they are careless, unprofessional, and utterly unwilling to take accountability when something goes wrong. My sister went in for a simple piercing and walked away in physical pain and emotional distress, and not once did they offer real help, only excuses. This shop failed her. Completely.

I instantly fell in love with his work, the bold lines, the colors, and the overall composition of his tattoos drew me in. I knew I instantly that he would be the one to help me finish my tattoo. A little background on the tattoo. It is an outline (if you want to call it that) of the Virgin Mary that I got done in a hotel room around 15 years ago when I was 17 years old. I waited so long to get this tattoo finished because I didn't know or feel comfortable having just anyone finish it. I didn't know if I would be turned away because of the condition and the state of the tattoo. Fast forward to me finally getting the courage to go in to Ink City and talk to Aaron. I was super nervous, talked way too fast, and was probably sweating profusely. Aaron greeted me with what I can only assume was a smile (he was wearing a mask). I talked to him about my tattoo and showed it to him. His response was something I was waiting to hear for a long time. "Yeah man, we can definitely make this work!" Unfortunately, due to my availability I wouldn't be seen by him till February of 2021. Unexpectedly, I received a call from Aaron. "I got availability this weekend, will you be able to make it?" Again, I probably talked way too fast because I was way too excited to get this started. The weekend came, and with it, work on my tattoo. It had been my first time under a needle in at least 15 years. I was very nervous, Aaron reassured me and we were under way. The tattoo was located on my ribs, and the pain was not like what I remembered! Aaron was more than happy to give me plenty and long breaks (thank you for that by the way!) After a few breaks I asked Aaron if I would be able to get up and look at the tattoo in the mirror. I got up and was in complete shock, close to tears because of what I saw. Aaron is definitely a master of his craft. He absolutely nailed what I had in mind and with not the best canvas to work on. I was so excited to get back on the table and have him continue. If I could, I would just sleep and have him go at it till the tattoo is finished! Aaron's professionalism and dedication to his craft definitely make him stand out. I look forward to seeing the direction he takes my current tattoo and future ones I plan on having him work on.
