Im all for small businesses. I would hope they would also figure a way for better parking/drive thru. Because their business could double or even triple! If they had someone taking orders outside and getting it to the workers inside could make it faster. They were very friendly and seemed to be working as fast as they could. Also when I got my snowball, medium size, they gave a regular short spoon. A long one was really need for this size. But it was my first time, maybe they were out? Would I go back? YES! Now that I live in Houston, it's hard finding a place with the perfect texture of ice snowballs in the New Orleans area offer. The car line tends to be longer and take more time, but going to the window will get you in and out fast.

They always post on my facebook neighborhood page their weekly specials, and I love trying their "different" flavors. The other day I had Orchid Cream Vanilla. This flavor is the BEEZNEEZ and will not drowned you in sweetness, but rather float you atop a sea of flowery savoriness that is meant to sit on your tongue. The ice at Honey's is SO SO SO soft and perfectly shaved I hardly ever find the large icebergs of ice that some stands have you knocking onto the floor (who wants to stick that in their mouth?!). They have a large lawn with toys and many tables with umbrellas to be able to chill out while the children play....that's so they don't spill their sno-ball in your car ;-)

The ice was still perfect, but the juice tastes sugar-free, or it went bad, or something else. I didn't taste it until I was too far away to turn around. I can't finish it because it tastes so bad. I will remain a customer because I've never had a negative experience until today. HOWEVER, I will do a taste test before I leave next time. Until then, I have to take off stars.

My small snowball with condensed milk and nacho bowl with cheese and peppers was around $4! That bowl of nachos was stuffed to the max with chips, cheese, and peppers for $2! They have a drive thru which is so convenient. They take cash and cards. They also have a cute picnic table outside of the stand to eat your snowballs. While looking at all the flavors they offered, I found some intriguing flavors, cantaloupe, marshmallow, dill pickle! I will definitely be back!
