Im not a fan of tanning....my skin usually doesn't look good afterwards or i burn. So my friend recommended i tried spray tanning just to see if it was an easy option for my pale skin lol I was super impressed with my overall experience! First off, Michelle (the woman who tanned me) was very nice.....made me feel at ease by explaining what she would do and how to take care of my skin before and after the tanning process (see my tip below for confirmation) The tan itself took almost no time at all! She set up all her equipment in my yard and the process was super easy. What i liked most is that she was super detailed with how she tanned me. She even contoured my face so my cheek bones stuck out and made my face look skinny! Ugh and believe me it's been a while since it looked like that. From what ive heard you usually don't get that kind of quality at most tanning places. Some places it's just a giant room that sprays the tan on you in like 15 seconds. ...so Michelle was vastly better in comparison lol It's been 3 days since i got tanned and it's still a nice golden brown....i gotta say i really wanna make this a regular thing lol If you're skeptical....i posted a picture of my tan line 3 days later after i got tanned...still pretty dark! I very rarely write truly negative reviews but this was one of the most awful, stressful experiences you could possible have! I will give her this.. the tan was great, the color turned out great. But her complete lack of professionalism is truly appalling!! First of all this is a mobile tanning service but she encourages you to drive to her house because she's too lazy to drive to where you are later in the day. Fine, I did that. It was late and all I wanted to do was get tanned and get home and go to sleep... I had to drive 30 minutes out to her house in Fullerton and still had the 30 minutes drive back for a 9 PM appointment. Michelle was completely disorganized and 1) didn't answer the door when I arrived at our scheduled time *she just happened to walk by the door and noticed me standing out there* i knocked several times, but her doorbell was broken and despite expecting a client she was BLASTING her tv and couldn't hear me 2) she was completely scattered and disorganized. First she couldn't find her spray tan solution then 3) she couldn't find the after tanning care instructions 4) she couldn't find her apron 5) she had to calm her dog down 6) she wanted to chat about her personal life both before and after the tan. I mean honestly.... you knew I was coming and you didn't have any of your supplies ready? You knew it was late but you wasted my time, who does this? All of this would have been forgivable until what happened next. I specifically chose Michelle because I was looking for a mobile tan that could spray me twice a few days apart to build my tan for my national ballroom dance competition. (I was afraid of layering different formulas and found lots of people that were available one day or the other but not both). I said from the beginning that I wanted an appointment on Sunday evening and then at 3 pm on Thursday in my hotel room. All of this was determined before I even committed to my first tan. When Michelle texted me Thursday morning to confirm my appointment I said "Absolutely!!! I intend on Checking in to my hotel room at noon and will be there in plenty of time for our appointment." Michelle informs me that she assumed I was already checked into my hotel and would have to reschedule me. Before even giving me the opportunity to respond she gave my appointment to someone else and told me that if I wanted I could drive to her house that night. I had dance events that evening so that was not an option. I made a 3 pm appointment for a reason. I also had no car so no easy way to get to her or drive to any other tanning salon in the area. I was forced to scramble to find ANY person who could come to the hotel and give me my spray tan. I messaged about 15 people in order to find one that could save the day. Who cancels your appointment without so much as one single back and forth correspondence? A normal, well run business would have a cancellation, late or no show policy. No business professional would just decide unilaterally that you aren't going to be able to make your appointment and cancels on you. She might give a good tan, but her complete lack of professionalism is an absolutely no-no when you are running a business. Here I was about to recommend her to numerous fellow dancers who were inquiring about my tan. She would have had the chance to get 10 clients in one location back-to-back regularly moving forward, but she has no idea how to run a business. DO NOT USE THIS WOMAN!!!! She has such amazing attention to detail and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the perfect tan! She preps your body and does extra steps to make sure that potential problem areas like feet, knees and hands turn out flawless. I've never had such an even, natural looking spray tan before! She offers a 2 hour tan or the overnight and has additional services and add ins you can do too. Her prices are reasonable and she is the nicest lady! I got referred to Michelle by a client of mine. I've had some issues in the past with spray tans, so i was hoping my client was right about her. I have had bad experiences with spray tans in the past, so I was a little nervous about getting an airbrush tan. My friend referred me to her and said Michelle does an outstanding job, so I gave it a try. Sure enough, I was very pleased with the result! Not only is Michelle super friendly and makes the experience enjoyable, relaxing and fun; she also applies the barrier cream on you instead of having to do it yourself, so you don't have to worry about orange "blotches" on your hands and feet. After she sprayed me, I saw the tan develop almost immediately right before my eyes. It looked amazing! No orange-ish tint like what I had experienced in the past. I found Michelle on yelp and she's now my go to for tanning. Besides being super sweet, she definitely knows how to do a spray tan. Unlike many other places I've been to, her tan looks natural, streak free and actually lasts for close to 2 weeks. She has a 2 hour spray which I love because I can shower quickly and not have to sit sticky for hours. I tried her contouring my last tan and looked like I lost 10 pounds immediately.
