You are in a larger room with multiple stations. I always wear a pair of shorts and a tank top during the massage. It says foot massage but it is actually a full body massage. I did read a bad review about something getting stolen. I don't know how this could have even happened. They have you put your belongings on a table next to your station not in a separate room. I highly recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced massage that always leaves me feeling refreshed!

That means someone opened my personal bag while I was receiving a service. The staff initially denied everything. We asked to see the security footage, which confirmed my hat was taken. Only after the police were called did they finally return it. What really worries me is that they instruct customers to place their personal belongings in an area that is a blind spot for the cameras. Your bag is not visible at all. This creates an unsafe environment where theft can happen with no accountability. The workers tried to gaslight me and tell me maybe I dropped my hat... I was disgusted and I will never return here again. This place should be shut down and put out of business! 0/10 I would not recommend coming here and if you do try to bring as little stuff in as possible because they are disgusting thieves and will lie straight to your face. To make the appointment I had arranged childcare and made the hour and 10 minute drive out to Oswego (I meet my sister here periodically for a spa day), so I opted to proceed with a "firm" massage." All was fine until the masseuse asked how my back felt. I stated it was still tight, and she asked if I would like to reschedule (again). I again stated no, that I was paying for childcare and was there already. She heatedly said "you are taking this out on me and I am going to have you reschedule" and ran out the room. I honestly answered her question regarding g my back, and was wanting her to continue to focus there and am not sure why she responded that way, but now am disappointed that Hand and Stone wasted my time traveling, efforts, and money. This is the second time this has happened at this location. This doesn't happen at my Northbrook location. You should inform clients well before of changes, and your masseuses should be coached to provide service. The service and communication here is extremely lacking. Garbage.

The spa suites are located on the eighth floor. The facial was pretty standard, slightly mediocre. There were awkward technical issues with the steamer, which took her about five minutes to fix. She did apologize for the issues and ended up getting it working. At the end she had to collect her belongings which is also a little awkward. It would've been great if she could've got the bath started so I didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it to fill up. You have 25 minutes to relax in the room and take a bath or a shower or use the sauna. This would be an excellent experience or well worth it if they allowed more time. The bath took 10 minutes to fill up/figure out and I only had 15 minutes left. 15 minutes is not enough for a bath and to get ready. I would've really enjoyed the amenities if I was allowed more time. I would say 45 minutes would be ideal. I think they should price higher if needed and give people this time. Then we were told we could grab a coffee and a quick bite downstairs in the Lobby. Apparently the person we saw at the bar on the way in to our 10:00AM left because when I came downstairs the bar was Closed. So now I must wait 45 minutes for my husband, hungry and thirsty. Would not recommend this Spa to anyone. Definitely didn't start our Wedding Anniversary activities well. Prayerfully it will get better.

The place is a bit odd for a spa type place too. They had an offer for $99 which is one of the reasons I went. they also asked me what I was using for tip - they didn't even ask if I wanted to tip. I don't think it's ok to simply expect a tip. they also add a service fee- dont think I've ever had a service fee added for a service like this. Likely won't be back.

This was my first time at Fusion Med Spa. I wouldn't recommend it. I went in for a consultation. I…read morewasn't greeted with enthusiasm and the employee at the front desk also wasn't wearing a mask when I walked in. More importantly, when filling out the necessary documents, I can across a tone -deaf question/ response options (pictured below). As a Black woman, I felt uncomfortable with the response options. For the following reasons: 1. The question lacked internal consistency and contained bias. The first few response options discussed tanning and burning in the sun. While the last option states "Black skin". Therefore, the question and response options plainly don't make sense. 2. "Black skin" can burn and tan in the sun, as other skin tones can. 3. "Black skin" can vary from fair to deep. We aren't all one shade. When I posed this question to the esthetician, in which she explained why this question was needed. She explained how deeper skin tones can't undergo the same treatment as lighter skin tones due to melanin. I understood her reasoning, however, the reasoning did not reflect the tone-deaf response options. I gave the esthetician examples of other response options that would better cater to their Black clients. When I left, the front desk employee did not say goodbye or ask how my consultation went. I would not recommend going there. The question was ignorant.
