Had a bad experience with Americas Best staff, not helping me and what seemed like no customer service skills, just rude. So, I left and called Brazos Eye Center, did they knock me off my feet!!! Ms Linda answered the phone , I explained that I had a written prescription for my contacts and needed them filled/ordered. Within 30-40 minutes, she had collected my money , given me contacts to wear until mine came in. Dealing with her at the time I did , she made me feel like a valued customer. Very understanding, extremely pleasant to talk with. She definitely turned my day around . Needless to say, I will never use Americas Best nor shall I recommend Americas Best, they are absolutely horrific. read more

So...stopped in to have my mamsy pamsy glasses adjusted after I accidentally sat on them...don't ask:). Anyway, I ended up staying for an exam and was fitted for new prescription. They worked me into their schedule "since I was already there". That is fabulous customer service. The appointment went quickly. Dr. Somji is friendly competent and professional. Emily, in particular, is a good egg. She tolerated my good natured ribbing with a smile. The staff is attentive and genuine. I wholeheartedly recommend this diamond in the rough. I am not happy with this establishment. the ladies at the front desk are nice and polite. However, the doctor not so much. i went in for an eye exam and glasses. For my computer and reading I use my old frames. When I receive the glasses with my old frames, they were bent so wide they kept sliding down my nose. I took those glasses back and asked them to correct them because they were falling down my nose because they were bent so far. the lady at the front desk was very nice and attempted to correct them. However, they were bent so badly that they're not able to stay on my face. The doctor prescribed glasses for night driving and distance. However, it made my vision worse at night, and I did not need the glasses. I made an appointment saw the doctor again and she insulted me by making the comment that I. "don't like" the distance glasses. I explainEd to her a few times that it wasn't that "I didn't like them ", but that I could see better without them. she then sent me to an ophthalmologist, thinking that there was something wrong with my eyes. The ophthalmologist confirm. There is nothing wrong with my eyes and that I did not need the glasses for distance. I essentially got glasses that I did not need and m old frames are now so bent that they won't stay on. read more

The front desk staff was also accomodating helping me find my new frames. My only complaint was that I made an appointment for 2:30 and wasn't seen until an hour later. This was my first visit to Brazos Eye Center. The staff was super friendly, prompt service, with a wide variety of frames!

Dr. Le was great. The last several optometrists I have seen rushed me through and I ended up with glasses that did nothing to improve my vision. Dr. Le examined me and referred me to an ophthalmologist as I had developed cataracts to the point that there are no glasses that would have solved the problem. Less than a month later, one cataract has been removed and the other one is scheduled for next week. At this point I may need nothing more than reading glasses. If I do need any vision correction, you can be sure that I will be seeing Dr. Le. read more
