My vision works just fine... but Barbi's vision not so much. Barbi is definitely a fan of Visionworks as we have now visited about five different locations, and at four of the five, we receive great customer service. There was only one bad experience. I will get to reviewing the others another time. But this location was one of several that treated her very nicely and offered her different deals that were generally about the same as what other chains would offer, but with slightly better service and generally about the same as the other Visionworks locations that we visited. I guess the only downside other than the pricing - which is not in the cheap range - is that we noticed on all of their location listings they do have some fake reviews, quite a few in fact the same written by the same people. I cant say enough positive comments. I showed up to retrieve one of my glasses at 1758-thinking they were open until 8pm. These two fabulous people actually asked me if I was picking up. They were closed already. But they put customer service first. Im quite sure they were tired and wanted to go home. But they helped me with a smile. Then, as I was typing this in the parking lit, they came to my car with my second pair which was completely unexpected. This Visionworks in Rosenberg went downhill. I have been going here for years and never had any issues. This time I got 2 pair of glasses. When I went to pick them up, I could see clear with each eye individually, but would see double vision with both eyes. They said it was the prescription. I went back to my dr and he rechecked me and said it was visionworks fault. This happened 3 times over the next 3 to 4 weeks. The 2nd time I agreed for them to only remake one pair until the issue could be resolved. The last remake still had the issue. I believe their machine that measured my eyes was off because they got 3 different measurements on three different machines. Since they tried 3 times to get this right and did not, I requested them to stop and refund my money. They said they will refund my card and I asked for a receipt. They said the refund can take up to a month on FSA or HSA cards to occur. I asked for all the paper work associated with what happened so I could go to another store. The employee Ms S Reyna refused to provide me a receipt and the paper work. I asked again for the receipt as all businesses are required to provide for every transaction. She refused to provide a receipt and called the Rosenberg police. Once the police arrived, they asked me to step outside and I did. I also told the police what happened. I asked if they could get my receipt. They got me the receipt, but It took them over 30 minuets as it appeared to be some sort of arguing between Ms Reyna and the officer at the main counter. I then left and went to a different eye glasses place with the same prescription and had glasses that worked correctly within 3 hours. read more

The staff was very nice. And OMG they have a lot of variety with reasonable prices... or course depending your budget. They also have a buy one get one free. They don't try to sell you more than what you need. My glasses with prescription will be ready within an hour... which is amazing! Since my last ones my dogs chewed them up....I really need them. My wife was very unhappy with a pair of glasses once we got home and she had been wearing them for awhile. They were really uncomfortable and the quality just wasn't what she was expecting. The company boasts about a return policy and guaranteeing satisfaction if you are not happy for ANY reason, and that they can be returned or exchanged within 100 days. Yet, we get there and they were not accommodating at all. Why have a policy if you do not actually abide by it? You can tell the integrity of a company by how they respond to negative feedback, and seeing how they intenitonally did not reply to another recent negative review yet all the recent positive reviews had replies speaks volumes. This will be my first time needing glasses and I am in my late 40's. I was not really excited about it but lets just get real and say I cant fake not needing them anymore. Vikki Jarmon is the Retail Supervisor and went above and beyond to help me. Not only had she already clocked out, she stayed till I had purchased my glasses, a good 30 min or so after she clocked out! This location has great customer service. A week after getting my glasses, I dropped them and stepped on them all in the same deft move. I called them right away and told them the situation and that I was out of town. They immediately had a new pair of glasses made and the next day, sent them overnight Fedex. Went into the Rosenberg location today to order glasses for my daughter and we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a worker. She was very nice and offered us time to browse and said she would help us if we needed any help. Took us a bit to find some glasses but when we finally did, the worker was busy with another customer so Samantha came over to assist us. She was awesome. She was very professional. Her customer service was on point! She took her time with us and was able to save us a ton of money. She gave us options and let us chose which option was best for us. Samantha asked my daughter questions about her daily life as she was entering data into her system. When we got in the car my daughter said what most impressed her of the whole experience was Samantha asking her questions about her daily life. She felt like Samantha really wanted to get to know her and that made my daughter feel really nice! I went in here needing glasses ASAP and was treated by Joanna. She was very patient in helping me find the right pair of glasses that went well with my face structure. After we finished talking about my prescription we looked over the type of lenses best suited for my eyes. Overall I really enjoyed my trip there. Usually I'm over the whole situation once I step into an eyewear store but Joanna made my experience very enjoyable. ASK FOR HER. She's also bilingual and can help anyone in Spanish! read more

I went in to get just an eye exam for glasses. They said it was going to be around $78. I did my exam and when i went to go pay they charged me around $135!!! I asked how did the price go all the way up?? And they said because she did a couple more exams on me.
