I found her on Yelp and saw 4-5 stars not realizing a majority was for microblading and not lashes. I called and she took me in an hour later at her home which seemed "normal" to me because of COVID-19. She did state she works from home and not her salon because of her fear for COVID-19 which I totally understood. The process took about an hour. When I saw it I was so happy because it looked very nice. I was looking at my lashes on my way home and touched them ever so lightly and that's when I felt this hardness all across my lids. When I got home I looked in the mirror and I saw so much glue. More than 50% of the lash extensions were glued crookedly over my lashes. The most I found was she glued 1 extension over 4 of my natural lashes. It's so disappointing because I entrusted her and it was only to ruin my natural lashes. The glue was so thick and just poorly placed. Come to think of it, I don't remember feeling or hearing her separate my natural lashes as I did when I would go to my usual lash lady.(my usual lash lady wasn't available).

I said it doesn't matter coz I have a Groupon and they said they'll offer the same rate if I cancel the Groupon . I didn't but they emailed Groupon and said that my skin was not appropriate for the treatment so they were offering the refund . I still went ahead coz I had driven a good 45 mins and it eventually was costing me the same. Later I refused to pay by Zelle and Venmo and they said that they accept credit card too but they would charge me the transaction fee too and I said Groupon didn't charge me the transaction fee so I won't pay it and they agreed . The facial - they told me if I used the Groupon they would do a basically facial and otherwise they would upgrade the serum . As the girl started working on my face . She started talking about my facial hair and tried to sell me hair removal packages at which time I told her I don't any sales being done to me while I'm getting a facial . I feel like they cut corners and didn't use the necessary serums for the facial and it's my guess but upon leaving while dressing up I checked and what she referred to as serums were the glycolic and salicylic acid that is used in the facial and I didn't see any empty vials . So I don't know what they did . Overall , this business is deeply unethical and I don't know what I got, but I'm not going back . The level of nickel and diming and skirting ethical and integral practices tells me , they gotta go !

It just feels like he is wanting to publicly look like he is addressing the situation properly. I did end up reaching out again today, per his request, and Elena Aleteanu, the other owner, has not changed her stance. She is telling me that they can't do anything on their end and that I need to reach out to Square. Square is telling me that they can't do anything on their end and that the business needs to initiate the refund. So, I reached out to Ronald again directly, and he did not respond. In addition, he got my Google review deleted and is trying to get this one deleted as well, but thankfully Yelp is a lot better about keeping honest reviews. I also forgot to note that the service was booked for two hours total, as a side by side massage. Elena tried to SCAM my sister and her partner by offering each a 1 hour service, one at a time (because of being understaffed), even though it is a two hour service. I paid $400 for the massages, so she's was trying to tell my sister that each service (which included a full massage and facial) of $200 was for one hour only, which is a lie. I even paid for an Uber to get them there. They arrived on time and the place was closed. No staff, no setup, nothing. They waited about 40 minutes, while I tried calling and messaging every available number. Eventually Ronald Aleteanu, one of the owners, responded on WhatsApp , but that did not change the situation and the service still was not provided. Between the Uber and waiting, this ended up wasting about 2 hours of their time (& money for the Uber), and they left with nothing. After all of that, Elena Aleteanu (who eventually came) claimed she had called and left a message (and at one point claimed that she talked to someone - a complete lie). I never received any call or voicemail, and I confirmed that the number I entered was correct. Their explanation just does not add up, especially since they had no problem sending a reminder the day before. What is most frustrating is that they still refused to issue a refund for a service they never provided. Instead, they only offered store credit, which is completely unreasonable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. I also posted this on NextDoor and numerous people replied noting that the same thing happened to them. So this is not an isolated incident.
