Got wispy hybrid in 13 (wished I got 14 to replicate my previous style, but forgot what size it was). Her space is clean and relaxing. I love how efficient and gentle Tiana was. I didn't feel much burn or sensation while she was putting on the lashes. I believe she took roughly 1.5hour. It's been a week and the lash retention has been great, I only saw a few has fallen out. I came in today with an appointment for a lash removal (from another salon) and a mega full-volume wispy set. I was informed of the new client promotion offering $40 off any new set. The lash removal went smoothly. However, I encountered several concerns during the application of the new set: 1. The lash artist told me to keep my eyes closed while she applied the gel pads. In my years of getting lash extensions since 2019, every lash artist has asked me to open my eyes and look to the side to ensure safe and correct placement. 2. Midway through the set, the artist used scissors to trim the extensions directly on my eyes to create a wispy effect. This is not standard practice. A wispy style should be achieved using varying lash lengths--not by cutting the lashes once applied. 3. After the set was complete, both eyes had lashes stuck from top to bottom, which I suspect was due to improper placement of the eye pads. 4. As a result, I was left with red irritation in both eyes and discomfort from lashes poking into the white part of my eye (see attached photo). When I was checking out, the owner, Tiana, immediately noticed that the set appeared too heavy and kindly recommended I return to try a regular volume set instead. I appreciated her honesty and concern for lash health. However, given the improper technique, eye irritation, and overall experience, I am not comfortable returning and felt it was important to provide this feedback. read more

I was immediately followed up by a text and the owner answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I made an appointment to come in on a Saturday morning to get the hybrid full set. I arrived 10 minutes before 11am and was then greeted by the owner. I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and minimalist decor. I was asked what length I wanted, so I decided on #13.
